Discussing dissatisfaction without crying or getting emotional

When things dont matter as much, or its about materialistic things, then I can speak up. However, I struggle to explain my frustrations and dislikes to people about their behaviors and actions.

I normally never get taken seriously, nor listened when I mentioned dissatisfactions about the individual so i think this imability to communicate stems from this experience.

I can have people say their dislikes about/to me.

If I hear about their dislikes being shared to another, not to me, then I get emotional

If they say things that I do not disagree and I am able to say a response, then I get all emotional.

However, if they say things, and vice versa, and we are able to say simply okay, and move on quickly without having to explain, its not as bad.

How can I get over this for both personal, and career purposes?

Only mri education, how did you all get jobs?

For those who only had MRI (tech) education, what did you do to get to the point that you are now?

I am getting a bit nervous of pursuing a specific, and limited education in Imaging. The school providing the MRI program, and another school are the 2 local schools with radiology programs. 20-30 total graduates every year. 97-100% job placement for imaging programs. To me, that's a lot of people competing for a job when I am finished with my 3-year education.

I am uncertain whatever the time to wait for a job, and the paychecks will be worth the cost of pursuing MRI education. Could you all share your experiences? It would help greatly hearing about someone who has been in my place.

Location: Midwest USA, $60k degree. 3 years

Change degree to Medicial Imaging to include cardiac radiology, non-cardiac radiology, CT, or sonography WITH the MRI for 2 more years, $60k more

How was the aphy 101 exam?

I already understand diagrams is the main concept, and 90% of the exam is after midterm content including heart. Muscles and skeletal is the next biggest portion.

However, was it easy for yall who knew this from online users?

shoe recommendations - hard toe

I have an externship coming up that requires hard-toe. The professor has allowed cross (no holes), and rain boots so it doesn't seem to be overly strict.

What shoes do you all wear?

My only requirement for an externship is hard-toed, but its not normally required at that site as a hired phlebotomist.

My hoka bondi SR were nice, but I want to return it since 70ish days in, I found it difficult to stand 6 hours into a pharmacy shift.

What do you all suggest? I don't want to have to buy a shoe and return it.

Externship- location concerns

Hey yall, I was placed in an externship site that is known to have more concerns. I have not worked there yet, but i will soon. Typically for the patients, they are people needing a normal routine checkup or related to an accident like a car crash, or wounded from violence. It isn't a big hosptial where inpatient is large.

Emotionally, I am alright. I am only concerned with the exchanges.

Bondi Sr- shoe has permanent effect from squatting

I am new to leather, and I thought that I could treat the shoes like any other Hoka that I have worn. When I squatted a bit and shoe was on its toe, the shoe immediately bent near the toes. There's now an evident structural change to the eye, and near my toe.

Do you all think it is too worn to return, or I would get partial refund? It wouldn't be a defect since it would be an individual discomfort. I don't mind loosening the shoe and treating it as a daily shoe, but I needed hard shell shoes for my new healthcare job. I would use the refunded money to find another pair.

I haven't found a good shoe to stand in for a long time besides the Bondi Sr (up to this point of 75ish days), and Asics Gel Nimbus 27 (that is not heard shell for this job, and it was good for 9 months). Does anyone have any advice?example of a crese in leather shoes

Hey yall, I have been warned by people in Indiana about AI and the imagine field. In Indiana, people in my personal life have recommended to get another degree with the imaging degree, or be wary of the job hunt in Indiana, and general field. Supposedly, those people believes the job market might be as bad as finding a job in media/digitial content jobs. I have not been told this by others outside the state, or about their locations outside Indiana.

Do you think this is true currently as a state known for its bad healthcare?

For the professionals including technicians, and educators of Imaging programs, is this true for Indiana.

I have a chance to do a phlebtomy internship at a location known for its laboratory work, and work-life balance for its stable hours/not 24/7 hour. Another location is a much bigger hosptial of the same branch. I would be mainly in inpatient at the 2nd place.

If i recieved a job in that field or same internship location (24-36 hours), then should I remain as a part time student who does 6-9 credits per semester for my MRI program? Or, should I take classes and work minimally expecting someone to drop out (from $50k to $65k full tutiton cost)

Hey yall, I have generally seen the person doing the illegal U-turn is at fault, but what if they had a green arrow in their left lane, and so did I for the right turn.

No one was hurt, we both stopped.

Hey yall, I am a bit worried understanding my supervisor in terms of speaking. I have not started working yet, and I am in midst doing orientation and training before the few weeks of externship. I pick up the main points, but I have difficulty truly and fully listening to them. I know that I could ask to repeat, or even worst, ask to slow down, but they are always in a rush as it is a hospital.

Has anyone experienced this difficulty to understand a supervisor? How did you navigate this?

I have seen the debate between parkview vs lutheran, and general conclusion about the gossip on lutheran dupont. What is the difference between Lutheran hospital main location on w jefferson, and downtown van buren (not st joe hosptial).

I will be a technician for context.

Newly accepted student! I have seen a lot of people commenting in the past about their glasses being made of aluminum, plastic, carbon fiber, or titanium. Some users online have recommended to bring a magnet to test glasses, and others have mentioned only metal screws are not terrible.

For those who had these, AND had issues, what were the issues?

I know people say practice, and study especially those needing straight adherence like law and pilots. However, how does one not make mistakes??? I feel like I should be on medication or see a doctor because I make mistakes on the job, but there's people with the professions who do not make those mistakes???

2018 Hyundai sonata 120k miles -sell or keep going

I dont understand the car market right now. I have heard the brand doing well despite the immobilizer and past recall issues. Is this a good time/car state to sell it? Car context below

My car did not get selected for recall despite the need to replace oil every month. I need help determining whatever to fix the bumper (\~$3k USD in 2023) to sell it, or just keep using it.

I bought this 2018 sonata sports for $16k (plus \~3k USD for taxes and protection plan) at 80k miles. Had a couple aciddents from hits so the back and front bumper have been replaced. The front has a hole near the light so I would need to pay fully for the front bumper. The back left tire keeps running out of gas too.

(I've taken this to dealership, car fix shop, and tire change/fix place. No one has identified the issue/fixed it.)
