What’s the best PT software for tracking progress?

Apologies if answered elswhere, but most threads on this subject are years old.

I’m leaving a commercial gym and starting out on my own, with a mix of in-person and online sessions. I’ve always relied on the gym’s systems, so I now need something that keeps programing, messages, checkins and client porgress in one place.

Progress tracking is the main thing for me (workouts completed, strength gains, measurements, photos, habits and missed sessions). don’t want to be piecing everything together from WhatsApp and spreadsheets.

I’ve been looking at Trainerize, TrueCoach and My PT Hub. Trainerize looks the most complete so far for what I'm looking for, but I’d like to hear from independent trainers actually using these?

NMN format wars: capsules, powder, drops, gummies, tablets, or injections?

I work in longevity supplements, so I'm biased, but I'm curious what people here actually prefer.

Not asking "which brand is best." More asking what format you've actually stuck with.

Capsules seem like the default. Easy, boring, consistent.

Powder seems better for people who want dose control or better cost per serving, but it's annoying if you travel or hate measuring things.

Drops are interesting if you don't like pills or want sublingual use. I'm open-minded on them, but I also think sublingual claims get over-marketed pretty quickly.

Gummies are funny because supplement people love to hate them, but for some people they're the only format they'll take consistently. Not perfect, but compliance matters.

Tablets feel underrated. Simple, portable, no measuring, no taste issue.

Injections are a separate category in my mind. Once you're injecting something, I don't think it belongs in the same conversation as a normal supplement. Different safety bar, different quality controls, and I'd only want that handled medically.

My current opinion: The "best" NMN format probably depends less on biology and more on the person.

If you want simple: capsules/tablets. If you want control: powder. If you hate pills: drops/gummies. If you're chasing absorption claims: be skeptical and ask for evidence. If you're considering injections: don't treat that like a supplement purchase.

curious about older home foundations in birdcage heights

We are touring a mid-century ranch house around the Birdcage area but noticed some slight door frame misalignment. Is foundation settling pretty typical for this specific pocket of Citrus Heights, or should we be worried?

Mid-century renovation rules in twin palms?

We’re looking at a 1950s property in Twin Palms that needs a decent amount of exterior work. Does anyone know how strict the local historic preservation boards are on changing out non-original windows?

best way to handle competitive offers in Fountain City right now?

My partner and I are starting to look at older homes in the Fountain City area but everything seems to go so fast. We have a solid pre-approval but keep getting nervous about missing out on the first weekend a place hits the market. Any tips from people who bought recently around here?

Did anyone have an experience hiring BoxStar movers?

I am considering hiring Boxstar team to help me with my move from a two bedroom apartment in Clarendon. I got a quote from other companies but Boxstar was the only one that gave me a binding estimate. They have decent reviews, but just wanted to see if anyone had used them for their move before and what do you guys think about binding rate. is it legit or nah?

Venice with luggage before check-in… bad idea?

We get to Venice Santa Lucia around 10am, but our place near Cannaregio won’t let us check in until 3pm. We’ll have two carry-ons and maybe one backpack. Part of me wants to just walk toward Cannaregio, get lunch, maybe wander a bit before check-in. But I’m also wondering if we should leave the bags near the station first and come back later. Are there any safe places to store bags nearby?

Is formatting enough before selling a laptop or do I need file eraser software?

I am getting ready to sell my old laptop and want to make I delete my old tax files and banking documents. I know how to do a regular format, but need something like a deep clean. Do I need a file eraser software or is there a Windows feature?

6 months in Utah: What are the small, unwritten local quirks that surprised you? (Beyond the obvious ones)

I moved to Utah from out of state about six months ago. While I did my homework on the big, obvious things before arriving. like the liquor laws, fry sauce, and winter inversion. I'm finding that the real learning curve is in the smaller, everyday things.

There seem to be so many subtle cultural habits, practical quirks, or seasonal norms that longtime residents don’t even think twice about, but completely catch newcomers off guard.

For those who moved here or have lived here a while, what was that one micro quirk or unwritten rule that surprised you once you actually settled in? (Could be anything from local driving habits, weird grocery store finds, neighborhood dynamics, to how people plan their weekends).

Note**:** I checked some older moving threads, but most of them just cover the standard "Mormon culture and skiing" stuff. I'm more interested in the little day to day things and quirks that you don't really notice until you've been living here for six months or so.

Best membership management software for single location gyms

I’m considering changing the membership software we use at our gym and trying to understand what the main differences are between the options.

The names that keep coming up are Glofox, Gymdesk, and Zen Planner.

From what I can tell, Glofox looks strong for class scheduling, memberships, payments and the member-facing app. Gymdesk seems simpler and potentially more affordable, while Zen Planner appears popular with more traditional and class-based setups.

The main things we need are recurring billing and failed-payment management, class scheduling and waitlists, attendance tracking, and a good experience for members using the app

Glofox probably looks like the best fit so far because we’re quite class-focused, but it’s difficult to know what any of these systems are like once you’re using them day to day.

Has anyone used or moved to/from one of these platforms? What worked well, what became frustrating, and were there any unexpected costs or limitations?

First time homeowner what security upgrades actually made a difference?

Closed on my first house a couple months ago and still figuring things out.

So far I’ve done the basics:

changed all the locks added motion lights in the backyard trimmed bushes near windows

But I’m not sure what else is actually worth it vs just feels good upgrades.

My neighbor has a full camera system everywhere, but that feels like overkill for now. At the same time, I don’t want to ignore something obvious.

For people who’ve been through this, what actually made a difference when you first moved in? And what ended up being unnecessary?

Tennessee folks, who are you actually insured with and is it holding steady?

Mine's crept up the last couple renewals and I'm wondering if I've just been loyal to the wrong company too long. Clean record, regular car. TN never felt as bad as what friends in other states pay, but it's slipping. Less interested in "shop around" and more curious who people are actually with right now and whether their rate has stayed put or kept climbing. Trying to figure out if switching is even worth the hassle.

How can I take (semi) control over my mental health while working in investment banking?

I dont think I need to blabber much about what Im currently accruing from 90h work weeks to having actual dreams about EBITDA ratios (I genuinely had one 2 days ago).

I make good money but Im so lethargic and energy deprived that I find myself no really caring about spending it or buying things in general. The lone thought of travelling feels more choresome than it's worth (packing bags, planning itenrary, booking places, walking like 20k steps in a day to explore a city, etc) and Im finding myself basically doing nothing outside of work other than the gym (which I do for body image purposes not for fun so it also feels like a chore, not a relief) and doomscrolling.

Our work does offer us free counseling through nilo so I can book a session on them anytime I want to, they also offer remote/hybrid transitioning if wanted, but the ONE thing they do NOT offer is less hours, which, even ifthey did, I dont think anyone would be inclined to take them because youd be left in the dust.

What can I do/what do you do to prevent yourself from falling into this loop? I want to bring myself out of it before it's too late.

Managed IT business instead of SaaS in 2k26 - does this positioning actual?

I’m involved with abs.am, which is a managed IT and technology services business. The basic idea is simple: a lot of companies need reliable infrastructure, cloud setup, DevOps, security, ongoing IT support etc., but they don’t necessarily want to build and manage a full internal IT department (that's not easy and expensive + they forced to handle all risks and responsibilities when buildin inhouse).

So the positioning is less about IT vendor and more about long-term technical partner for companies that already have a working business, but need it to become more reliable and secure.

The challenge is that this space can sound broad very quickly. Plus IMO it may be too complicated to pitch.

Managed IT, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, document workflows, corporate communications - all of these are real parts of our work, but listing everything can make the offer feel less sharp and more watery.

So need to know - does outsourced IT partner for companies that don’t want an in-house IT team feel clear enough, or still generic?

When you land on a B2B service company’s website, what makes you trust them? And what makes you bounce immediately lol

What has worked better for your biz growth: referrals, partnerships, content, outbound, niche focus, something else?

If you had to simplify this kind of offer, would you lead with reliability, security, cost savings, speed, access to expertise, peace of mind? Or...

Not trying to pitch here - mainly looking for some feed on how to present business like this in a way that feels clear because it's kinda problem.

Last day in Paris: République, Musée d’Orsay and Gare de Lyon

Maybe overthinking this, but trying to avoid making our last day in Paris annoying. We check out of our hotel near Republique in the morning and have a train from Gare de Lyon later in the day. I wanted to go to Musee d’Orsay before leaving, but we’ll have one suitcase with us. I’m guessing that’s not something you can just bring inside? Also, is Musee d’Orsay realistic in half of a day?

I’m not sure if it’s smarter to leave the bag in our hotel, or somewhere near the museum, or near the station and then come back across town. Has anyone done something similar without making the day too complicated? also which lockers you used? thanks

Trying to repair my skin barrier after overdoing actives - what helped you most?

I think I finally accepted that my skin barrier is not as strong as I thought it was.

For a while I was rotating too many actives because I was trying to fix texture, dullness, pores, and old acne marks all at once. My skin looked “clear” in the sense that I wasn’t breaking out much, but it started feeling tight, easily irritated, kind of rough, and more reactive than usual.

So now I’m trying to strip everything back and focus on barrier repair for a few weeks instead of chasing fast results.

Right now I’m thinking of keeping it very basic:

  • Gentle cleanser
  • Hydrating toner or serum
  • Simple moisturizer
  • Sunscreen in the morning
  • No exfoliating acids for a while
  • Retinoid break until my skin feels normal again

For those who damaged their barrier from too many actives, what actually helped you recover? Did you notice improvement from ceramides, panthenol, cica, snail, urea, barrier creams, or just doing less overall?

Also, how did you know your barrier was ready for actives again? I don’t want to restart too early and end up back at square one.

Has anyone recently sold a house quickly in Eugene, OR ? Looking for honest advice

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to understand how people are selling homes quickly in Oregon these days, especially without going through a long traditional listing process.

I came across a few companies that say they buy houses directly for cash and make it faster and simpler, but I’m not sure how legit or practical that really is in real situations.

Has anyone here actually sold their house this way recently? How was your experience with pricing, speed, and the overall process?

I’m just trying to figure out what’s realistic before making any decisions.

Product recommendations for dull skin, pores, and post-acne marks before considering clinic treatments?

I’ve been trying to improve my skin texture, visible pores, dullness, and some leftover acne marks. I’m not looking for anything too aggressive right away, so I wanted to ask for product or routine suggestions before considering any in-clinic treatments.

My main concerns are Uneven skin texture, Dull-looking skin, Visible pores around the nose/cheek area

Skin that sometimes looks tired even with moisturizer, For anyone who has dealt with similar concerns, what Korean skincare products or ingredients helped the most?

I’ve been reading about gentle exfoliants, niacinamide, vitamin C, barrier creams, hydrating toners, and sunscreen, but I’m not sure what would be best to start with without overdoing it.

Also, for people who eventually visited a skin clinic in Korea, did you try improving your routine first, or did you go straight for a consultation?

Any product recommendations or routine tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
