ID help needed, even kingdom or phylum would help!

Hi, I'm trying to get a rough ID on these organisms. Not sure if they're algae, cyanobacteria, protists or something else entirely ๐Ÿ˜…

No lawn is coming along nicely!!

Located in Western Australia. We purchased our home in late 2022 and I have spent the last 4 years creating a permaculture food forest and native garden. The tree canopy is coming along nicely!!

(no idea why GM has upped the contrast so much on their recent satellite images update)

I switched to writing in all caps when I became a teacher. "Normal" handwriting on the left, "teacher" handwriting on the right.

I have three masters degrees and still can't spell. I think my messy writing was partially developed as a way to hide all my spelling and grammar errors in school ๐Ÿ˜…

What is this foul sludge coming out of the overflow hole in this hotel shower?

My husband was unclogging a shower drain at a hotel. When he poured drain cleaner down the drain, a snake of black sludge started slithering out of the overflow hole. At first he thought it was hair but it disintegrated when he sprayed it with water. He said it left a nasty oily residue all over the tub and smelled ungodly. Wtf is this horrid substance?!

If I shave anywhere other than my lower legs and arm pits I get horrible itchy bumps and ingrown hairs. The attached photo is 2 days after shaving my upper thighs, the bumps and redness usually appear 24-48 hours after I shave and the itchiness and irritation last for 3-5 days. It's been like this since I was a teenager. I have done all the prep, used an exfoliator before shaving, a good quality razor and shaving gel and a post shave cream but my skin I still so itchy and irritated. I did my first IPL session on this area immediately after shaving because I was worried the redness would interfere with the it's efficacy.

So my question is do I HAVE to shave before each session? I usually use an electric trimmer/shaver (the shaver head for my Braun silk epilator) for hair removal above the knee to avoid this reaction and that works great but I'm not sure if it will cut the hair short enough for IPL to be effective?

Any help would be greatly appreciate. I will keep shaving if necessary but the thought of 11+ more sessions of this is not sparking joy. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
