Replay ID: 105540112481

i’m a very very new groot player and i think i did alright this game, if someone could watch this game (quickplay) and just break down things i shouldn’t do and things i should, that’d be great.

learning a new character is fucking hell

cycle of trying to learn a new character

lose because people are sweatier in qp than comp > lose again > pity bot game which you can’t even leave and reset so you HAVE to do that which is counterintuitive because all the fucking bots do is hold Q > lose again against real players because they swap to their fucking mains off ONE lose teamfight > BACK TO THE FUCKING BOTS WOOHOOOOOO

like holy shit bro its genuinely impossible to learn a character and it will only get worse and worse

is there any way to place the walls with one input?

new player learning groot here, i play on console so having to press L1/R1 then R2 for one wall is annoying, is there any way to circumvent this, maybe an option to just press L1/R1 twice to place a wall or maybe have it to where i can hold the wall and it will build when i release the input

groot mains i need your help

just need as much advice possible on everything groot. his playstyle, gameplay loop, what teamup to use, his hard counters, any button rebinds i should look out for (i play on console), high level competitive play i could watch etc etc

just to preface, i really do not play tank often in rivals. only very recently did i pick up rogue who is the first tank i bothered putting hours in, but if its anything, i was a GM tank in overwatch so i’m not completely and utterly clueless when it comes to the tank role in hero shooters.

i did try to pick him up when he got his CC immunity wall buff and i did feel quite overwhelmed managing his walls so it didn’t really go anywhere but now that i’m more accustomed to tanking in rivals and mechanically better than i used to be, i would love to give groot a real try as literally any other tank looks so so boring

(also does groot count as a shield tank)

how do i get good with this character bro

idk what it is, usually i’m good or atleast passable with hitscan characters but with elsa idk i can’t hit shit with her

i see people run lobbies with her but whenever i’m on her i’m just the most useless fuck on earth

i see people out here calling her jane antidive but i can’t do shit when i’m up against a blade or even worse a black cat

i see people do crazy shit with her ult but whenever i try barely anything happens unless i just lead them off the map

idk man i just need serious help with everything, anything can help atp. high level vod reviews, youtube guides, pro play etc. i’m like level 8 on this character and its like every game is my first and its super demotivating

got the silly little icon

very fun character, while she is definitely weaker compared to some other tanks, i’ve never found her unplayable. hell i’ve dominated more lobbies than i’ve lost. but buffs are still in order for her

and as fun as the gambit teamup is, it has to go for things to get better with rogue

how is this character on console?

and how hard is her gameplay loop? i never really play combo intensive characters nor do i play fighting games since eventually i end up just bubbling and pressing buttons but idk i wanna give this character a shot

how hard is she to play and will playing on controller be a built in handicap?

aaaaaaand its over

if skin sells well: “see, storm players will eat up any low quality garbage we give them, keep churning out those bi-seasonal free epics”

if skin doesn’t sell well: “see, we gave storm a skin and it didn’t sell well, why should we waste resources on her?”

its completely, utterly, unequivocally over

question about the ultimate

been using widow a bit and my biggest problem
with her is that the ultimate feels kinda clunky as i have to press L3+R3 (controller player) over and over if i want to unscope and rescope

probably not, but is there a way to make the ultimate like widows old fire, where you could hold a button to scope in?

crutch ability for a crutch character

i make the correct play and rogue ult the cnd so they can’t support ult and win the fight, easy right?

nope, just use the ability that makes you complete invincible and untargettable for 5 seconds (she can contest in this form and get ult charge btw) and IMMEDIATELY pops ult because fuck rogue right

[VOD request] [Diamond] what could i improve gameplay and mechanics wise?

Replay ID: 50215736260
Name: zwjixx2

primarily a DPS and support player but recently picked up rogue since shes really fun despite her not doing too hot this season and i have very little to no experience with any other tank.

two main issues i can self-identify is that my cooldown management isn’t the best at times and my tendency to overextend, which happens due to me thinking my team is pushing with me but it’s an issue nonetheless

if anyone could break down moments i wasn’t playing too good, stuff i can improve on. also if any rogue players would be willing to watch and give me tips on combos/gameplay loops that’d be great

what is my next step?

the goal is to eventually to build a pc for gaming. thing is, i’m worse than a child when it comes to pcs as i am completely and utterly clueless.

i currently have/plan to buy: a cpu, motherboard, gpu, ram, storage, cpu and a case.

what else would i be missing aside from things like keyboard, mouse and monitor etc?

any elsa main down to completely dissect and criticise my gameplay

Replay ID: 108222100846

as a preface, i’m completely new to this character. not even a full hour worth of gameplay amassed yet.

please tell me shit i should and shouldn’t do, what team-up is more beneficial and just tips and tricks

if you feel like my gameplay is ass (which it will be), don’t be afraid to say so, be harsh and tell me things i can do to improve

best way to track calories?

i’m trying to lose weight and the realisation of only losing 1kg in a week has led me to believe its time to start calorie tracking.

thing is, i have no idea how i would start. i’ve seen people say myfitnessapp is the best way but i’m unsure how to use it.

i mainly eat homemade food and the app doesn’t really account for that, how do i tell it i’m specifically eating 5 pieces of oxtail, it just defaults into “serving for 1 person” which could be literally any amount
