Once his helmet is peeled back guy immediately stops and is pissed at his ring for telling him to fight jaime

Victory gundam:

Wattary Gilla, pilot for the Zanscare Empire is shot by the pilot of the titular gundam uso ewin, the realization makes him breakdown in tears before committing suicide because of the madness of this world

Venture brothers: in shadowman 9: the cradle of destiny we see the monarch and dr girlfriend's origins, and how they met; at the time the monarch was a henchman moonlighting AS the monarch, sneaking into a party he rizzes her up, telling a story about fighting captain sunshine and that said hero THINKS he's invulnerable. Next season captain sunshine actually attacks the cocoon showing the monarch wasnt bullshitting.

The monarch even struggles not to laugh, as sunshine STILL thinks he's invulnerable
