Looking for a classy yet capable and affordable replacement for my antiquated moto 360

as the title states, I'm looking for a new smart watch with a classy look (absolutely no plastic or rubber bands). I really like my old stainless moto 360, but it is super dated. I still want it to be functional and not ridiculously expensive. I don't need standalone cellular connectivity. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am in the us and use a pixel phone.

6 days in and unsure if I should end my fast, up my electrolytes, or what to do.

I have done several 2-4 day fasts in the past and this is my first time going for longer. I've been sure to get enough electrolytes (I think) daily and honestly most of the time I feel absolutely great. However, occasionally and more frequently recently I've been getting that "standing up to fast" feeling when standing up or raising back up after bending over. It goes away fast and if I'm up or down I feel just fine. I'm about 70lbs overweight still so I'm not out of fat reserves or anything.

Tree Just Fell On My House - Contact Home Owners Insurance First or Roofing Company?

I took tons of pictures before tarping it myself but a tree just went down and punched some holes in my roof. I think it may have shifted my whole house though because now my back door is hard to open/close. Should I contact the home owners insurance first or a roofer/contractor? It was my neighbors tree and I'm trying to make sure everything that was actually damaged actually gets fixed.

First ever $0 sales month, likely getting canned

Been in industrial and automation sales for over a decade in the South USA and recently transitioned over to industrial packaging and related sales. I have been struggling to get new customers like never before. I have so many **great** meetings with plant tours with the people I need to be dealing with, we discuss specific opportunities, next steps, and have dated action items. Then *nothing* ... ghosted so many times like never before. I have hardly any recurring business because the territory I took over didn't have nearly anything.

What sucks is I really like the guys I work for and I think they like me to, but I understand not paying me a salary if I'm not actually able to sell anything. I even offered to go full commission early so I don't get paid if I don't sell, just to hang in there a little longer in case one of the deals I've been working on actually comes through.

This blows. I think I just needed to rant or something. I updated my LinkedIn but I think I'm going to just double down and work my ass off and try to get enough on the books to keep me employed.

Looking for a small tablet with LTE that isn't super expensive or crap. Somewhere around 7" would be great. I'd love just a new version of the Nexus 7

Any recommendations would be great. I'm looking to switch to a dumb phone and a lte connected tablet so I'm on my phone less but still have a handy device that I can work from when I am away from my office.

I'm seeing lots of busted pallets

and I can help keep that from happening! I have been trying to connect with the right people at Pepsi for quite a while now. I am a packaging and load containment consultant and a packaging supplies, equipment, and service distributor. Getting anyone to give me the time of day for a free load containment analysis has been impossible.

I'm sorry if this is tacky because I am obviously trying to sell something, but I really only try to sell what my B2B customers actually need and genuinely try to improve efficiencies, improve employee work conditions, and save my customers money.

If anyone can get me connected with the appropriate person, I would be super grateful! Ideally in the Southeast region because that is where I'm physically located, but I service other food and beverage distributors nationwide.

Feel free to ask me any packaging questions you might have!

Use the Internet A LOT for work from home and on my cell phone remotely, looking for budget and reliable carriers/plans

Pretty much what the title says - I am looking for a good budget cell phone carrier but I do need reliable, high-speed internet. Currently I bundle my AT&T fiber with my cell phone service and because I complained to them and got a special deal on the internet, overall it isn't bad compared to what it could be. I'm looking for something more affordable, though. I'm paying about $200/mo for 1gig fiber and 2 cell phones. My special deal with the Internet will be up soon, though, and the bundle price will go up to about $250/mo. For my cell phone line, I need a lot/unlimited, reliable data, but my wife doesn't even use 5gbs/mo. I was thinking T-Mobile, but it seems like you really only get a good deal there if you have like 4 lines. I travel all over the southeast ga, even to some rural and remote areas and I need as good of cell coverage as reasonably possible.

Thank you for reading all this and helping!

Not sure why my caption didn't save last time I tried to share this 🤷 This looks like one of those parody infomercials where nobody has any common sense. Not my OC

Could really use some connections

Long story short, I recently joined a family owned packaging supplies, equipment, and service distributor and have been absolutely whiffing it in the Columbus market. I have some potential opportunities, but it is just SO HARD to get ahold of anyone of importance at the few big name companies in Columbus. I'm not new to sales, so I'm doing the usual, but I figured I'd ask in here as well.

If anyone is close with a key contact at any of the significant companies around here, I would be externally grateful for a connection. It's not like I'm trying to take business away from any local businesses, I am mainly trying to displace suppliers like Uline and etc. Examples would be companies like Kysor, Pratt & Whitney, McCauley's, Buffalo Rock, etc. The surrounding areas like Opelika, Auburn, Lagrange, Newnan, Albany, etc would be great, too.

If anyone has any questions about packaging or sales or anything, feel free to ask. I'm also fine going into more detail offline, but I'm not exactly looking to dox myself lol

Close Rate With New Company is Abysmal - Keep Grinding or Jump Ship?

I have been in industrial and automation sales for over a decade with a strong track record. I went from a widely known global distributor, to a more niche but known in the right places manufacturer sales role, and nearly a year ago I transitioned back to distribution. I was tired of relying on distributors and the slower sales cycles. I turned down nearly my dream job to take what I have now because I thought I could grow sales much faster in my previously established territory. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I am more aligned with packaging consumables, equipment, and equipment service now along with some safety and warehouse supplies. On one hand, I work for a family owned company and have been treated the best I ever have, and my base salary is very strong. On the other, nobody knows my brand now, and we are a very old, old school company with a barely functioning website. It has been ran on field sales and old school relationship building for decades.

I have probably over 5 million in opportunities in my pipeline, but the projects and people have been moving **so** slowly. I have hardly any sales and I did too good of a job in my initial role in the area, cementing part of my competition in place. They aren't a direct competitor, but my connections that I thought I'd call on now are still using them and aren't too keen to try out a new "small name" distributor.

Meanwhile, I've still been fielding recruiters left and right. I'm getting torn between turning up my activity to 11 at my current place, or jumping ship and hoping I have better luck elsewhere. I'm not on a PIP, but my direct supervisor is really involved trying to help me close some deals because I am way behind. He's not a bad guy, and we're still talking about 60, 90, + day plans, but it isn't a good sign.

For the love of god, don't arbitrarily mark animes as watched; your watch history will get all messed up.

It will add every episode, every language, every subtitle option into your most recently watched anime, instead of just adding it to the back of your watch history or something that makes sense. I just happened to mark Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, etc. as watched so my watch history is now USELESS, unless I want to scroll through for hours. I thought it would help with recommendations or at least organization but I should have known better.

Sure am glad I was home

Seems like a wire was loose and arcing. Going to be inspecting all my plugs and outlets this weekend and depending on what all else I find, probably calling an electrician out next week.

Premium Expired but Hasn't Really?

I signed up during the Ani-May promotional period and am still being charged the reduced rate, however, I got notified that my membership/benefits have ended like a day after I got charged again. It says in account details that I'll be charged again next month and it looks like my mega fan membership is active. However, I still occasionally get popups like this Chainsaw Man one asking me to resubscribe. Nothing isn't working though and I can still watch whatever without ads. Anyone also experiencing this?

Neighbour shot my PC through the wall

Basically just what the title says. I woke up in the middle of the night to a bang and glass hitting my face. While I was trying to figure out what had happened, my neighbour arrived in a complete mess sobbing and shaking and terrified that she had hurt someone. Apparently her firearm was accidentally discharged by her dog. The police said that the PC changed the trajectory of the bullet, and it would have hit me while I was sleeping if the PC hadn’t been there. It took me 3 days to clean all the tempered glass from my entire bedroom. Hopefully her insurance will be covering a brand new rig, and she kindly agreed to replace it even if they don’t cover it.

EDIT TO ANSWER FAQs:
Yes I’m in the USA.

Nobody was injured.

The neighbour has been charged with negligence.

Her insurance will likely pay for it as well as any cleaning or repair services but she told me right away that she would pay for everything no matter what.

While I’m not sure about the dog story, it’s very clear from how she responded at the time that it was an accident. She was more messed up about it than I was and could barely speak from crying so hard and her whole body was shaking, and she just kept apologising over and over.

Between the legal charge, her gun being confiscated, the cost of replacing everything, and her constant apologies, I feel like she is appropriately paying her dues in this situation and won’t be pressing for anything further.

EDIT 2: Some kind redditors have advised me to remove info in the post as well as some of my replies in the comments that pertain to the insurance claim and I am taking their advice :)

EDIT 3: guys I’m a girl 😭

To the lucky someone that received my gift: you're welcome

I've gifted plenty of cars before but in order to get the festival points this week, I bought, modified, and gifted this heap lol in case you don't know the image/quote source, here it is (nsfw - language)
Oh yeah I also put the 10 speed transmission on the stock engine hahaha
Edit I just learned about certain cars crashing the game and deleting save files. This was definitely not my intention, and luckily it seems to be attached to the FE version of this car, not the base one.

T-Mobile Fiber Phone Number 1-833-421-3636

Just wanted to share this phone number in case anyone was looking for it. I was just on the phone with support for entirely too long and as a surprise to nobody, they couldn't help me and transferred me to the T-Fiber support (who I needed to talk to in the first place) and gave me their direct phone number. The number they gave me is: 1-833-421-3636
u/NytronX in the comments found it on the website and was able to verify:
