I see a lot of content on here about optimization, but a lot of the advice I see seems to not really apply when your goal isn’t to blow up or maximize monetization.
I make videos first and foremost for myself and just figure there should be at least a few people out there who might enjoy it. That’s been the case so far and I’m just happy to have folks to discuss a shared interest with. For me, this is a hobby space to connect with others and just have fun. If I get monetized, great, but I’m not in any rush.
I just think the process of creating an idea, recording it, making a thumbnail, and editing it all is incredibly zen. It’s also a nice outlet to talk about something most people I know IRL don’t care about.
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else was just doing this as a fun hobby? If so, what’s your niche? Mine is discussing budget and classic fragrances without any hype or Middle Eastern clones.
Clockwise from 12: YSL Opium, Anna Sui Anna Sui, Lalique Encre Noire, Elizabeth Taylor Passion, Prada Amber pour Homme
I’m a certified musk freak. I cannot get enough of this stuff, whether it’s a super funky animalic or laundry detergent soap, I just find something incredibly intoxicating about this note! I’ve even (gasp) started looking into vanilla musks and found I’m a really big fan of those, too.
I love a good white floral; especially when it’s super heady and smells downright feral lmao. When they come across super soapy, I’m into that, too.
So, I come to you hat in hand, requesting your finest (and filthiest) musk and white floral fragrances from the wonderful world of FemFrag.
Much love and many thanks 🙏🏼

I know it’s not the typical collection around these parts, but I’m really happy with what I have so far!
L to R: Sung Homme, J.Lo Glow, Mugler Cologne, Etat Libre d’Orange The Ghost in the Shell, and Clean Pure Soap
After some quick sniffs:
Mugler Cologne: Really, really lovely. High class hotel room soap. Uses every part of the plant: bergamot, neroli, orange blossom, and petitgrain. Sharp, herbal, citrusy, and soapy clean.
ELDO The Ghost in the Shell: Wow, this is just beautiful. Soapy, metallic, clean skin accord. Like Dove soap and clean steel with a strangely human quality. Really can see myself wearing this one on a really hot day.
J.Lo Glow: Floral laundry detergent and fabric softener. Heavy on the musks, iris, and jasmine. Rose cleans things up nicely so they don’t go indolic. Pink grapefruit, neroli, and orange blossom come together to make it soapy. Like a bar of brown soap in a cold shower on a hot day. Even a little Dial Gold-esque with the amber notes.
Clean Pure Soap: Freshly laundered white linens and lathered up white Ivory bar soap. Faint woodiness and aromatic notes from the lavender and sandalwood, but this really is what it says on the label: pure soap; as in the cleaning agent, not the body bar.
Sung Homme: Soapy in the same way that Paco Rabanne is soapy. This is barbershop fougère soap. Distinctly herbal and spicy. The kind of soap you’d find in a lumberjack’s mountain cabin.
