I want a softer feel turf grass in my backyard and I’m sold on zoysia over Bermuda. I just don’t know what type of zoysia to get. From what I can tell around me it’s either zenith or empire zoysia. Also I will be doing sod most likely.
Obviously would need to prepare the ground but if I follow the current grade, is that too much slope? The plan is to build a 10x20 patio here for sitting area and a grillzebo.
When measuring with camera apps and having ChatGPT analyze it, it got that the ground had a 0.4” drop per foot, or a 1.8 degree slope.

I’m planning to put in a 10x20 paver pad. My plan is to pour some footers first underneath for a 10x12 gazebo from Costco. The yard is graded decently down towards the left, so my paver pad will have some decent slope to it. It’s enough that putting the gazebo directly on the pad will make it look unlevel. Should i just have the footers extend up out of the ground above the pavers and have hose leveled out? Or what’s the best way.

I just relined my tank with the vevor vinyl liner. I want to keep up with keeping in clean. Do any of you use a vacuum or do you just brush and have your filter catch everything?
I am planning to sod where the dirt is. Will that be enough to hold the dirt in its place?
This is in the central Florida area. Really want a nicer feel turf grass that I can walk and kids can play on. So I’m looking at either Bermuda or zoysia. I will most likely go the sod route but and not opposed to seed as it’s cheaper. I’ve already started roundup of the weeds that are there.
It is approximately 1500 sq feet that I would sod/seed.
I’d say the area gets sun most of the day. I have a sprinkler system. What would you do?
Edit: I would prefer to not mow every 3 days. Prefer once a week
My plan is to do a DIY concrete slab between the two windows the size of the shed and put a just generic plastic shed on it to store my yard tools and whatever else.
From the house to the fence is about 9 1/2 feet. From edge to edge between the two windows is exactly 7 feet. My plan is to maybe get a 6 x 4 shed. What are your thoughts? How far away should I offset it from the house wall?
This kit is $1500. Is building one myself with lumber really that much cheaper? Are these good quality?
To the right of my rock/pool area. We want to do maybe a 10x18ish patio area that will be for a couple lounge chairs and also potentially a covered cooking area that will house my grill, black stone, and traeger smoker.
My wife wants to do a paver area as shown in the chat gpt image mockup. Or would a concrete pad be better here? Any other ideas?

I’m planning on doing about a 100 square foot area with pavers. This area is only for foot traffic and will have some chairs on it. Instead of digging a bunch and putting 4 inches of gravel down, I was thinking of maybe using these panels instead with a 1/2 inch layer of paver sand like the instructions say. My soil is sandy soil.
Would these work well for my application?
