Blast from the past. Must have been from the previous owners of the house as we weren’t here in 2009. 17 year old prawn cocktail crisps. TBF they don’t actually look that bad. Still, I’d only recommend trying them if you fancy a few days off work. FYI they don’t smell like Prawn Cocktail anymore.
So over the past few months RTX VSR has not been activating in SDR mode. However if I turn on HDR (win+alt+B) and enable rtx hdr mode it will “activate”. Really don’t know whats going on with this.
All potplayer settings seem correct including enabling 10bit output. D3D11 GPU super resolution enabled etc
Anyone notice similar in their setup? Very annoying. I don’t want RTX HDR on alll the time to watch SDR content.
Ok so I went on a console cleaning spree today. I cleaned and repasted my PS4 pro and my Xbox One X. Both went off without a hitch. Then I realised I had never repasted my PS3 slim in the 16 years I’ve owned it and the fans were getting loud. So while I had everything out I thought it best to give the old boy a full clean out. Sadly it seems I did one too many as when I cleaned and repasted it, the video signal was glitchy. Decided to reopen it and check to ensure everything was seated properly. But then it got worse as it lost all video out completely. So sad. Loved that console!

I’m mostly enjoying my time in this game but there’s been too many times I’ve had to google basic things and it’s souring what should be an all time classic game. Most recent example “Activate the pillar of radiance”. So I had to retrieve a dagger which I did so. I returned to the pillar and… I couldn’t equip the dagger!
It’s clear I’m supposed to stab the slot in the pillar with the dagger. But I couldn’t equip it and when I approach the pillar, there’s not prompt to just slot the dagger in. Like some quests in the game it requires you to press R1 and Y to thrust the weapon into the slot. This seemed like a perfect example of when this is supposed to happen. Except in this instance. You have to stand back a certain distance, shine yoyr lamp on the circle and then wait for the prompt to put the dagger in. I shouldn’t have to google that! It’s clear it didn’t need the lamp shining on the pillar part at all and yet this game seems to think it’s “fun” to do this.
Sometimes this game can be so good and other times so poorly designed it beggars belief. I mean, the sheer amount of controls needed to navigate this world is insane. Sub-controls within sub-controls. Sometimes you can completely forget that there are different control mappings for different quests and it’s infuriating to have to keep going back to re-read the controls or watch videos to remind you of them.
Anyway vent over, I’m sure you guys have your frustrations with it too but just some simpler design would make this game way more intuitive and less frustrating sometimes.
Hi guys I am trying to apply for a Motability car and filled everything out on the website. I have sent a message to the car dealership with the reference of the car I'm interested in. What happens next? Never done this before, is it super complicated? Does it take a long time?
Apparently it has a B&O sound system and isn't much more than the model I was thinking of. Would it actually be a slight upgrade to the stock speakers or is it just marketing? I don't want a bassy boombox machine. Just something with nice quality audio that I'll appreciate over the stock tuning of most other normal cars. What's your experience, worth the extra?
Hello, new to Jeep. I have the chance to potentially get a Jeep Avenger or Compass (I know these are commercial SUV's rather than the rugged outdoor workhorses that people may prefer here). But don't know much about Jeep really. Would you consider these models over say a Ford PUMA/KUGA? Is the brand good? Are these just Jeep pumping out mediocre offerings to stay relevant in the market rather than putting effort into them?
Just curious as I'm scouting for a new car and these two peaked my interest. Please let us know your opinions on these cars specifically.

Ok so trying to get HSBS films to work in 3d mode with these glasses (ON windows 11). I am using Potplayer as that's the one I have used with xreal one pro and rayneo air 4 pro's to watch 3d films. So far nothing seems to work. Anyone actually gotten it to work with SBS content properly?

Decided to treat myself after a pretty tough year (so far). The PX8S2 Mclaren edition. Got them cheaper than the OG colourways so pretty happy overall £597.
Wife surprised me by getting me my GOAT CA look. Feeling pretty blessed!
Decided to give these guys a go. I love the two separate cables. 3.5 and 4.4mm connectors for most use cases. The cable is beautiful. Nice fiery deep orange and chocolate wires wrapped around each other. You also get. 3 different types of eartips. Normal, wide bore and foam. They also have a nice compact case. The faceplates are matching with this hot & spicy colourway and silver accents. Overall it’s a very nice looking iem if you don’t mind how “loud” it looks.
Soundwise it’s a very safe, bass leaning set. Good subs and mids that gives this a warmer tuning. The bass is really clean though, it’s present but not overbearing. I found using the widebore tips to be my favourite. It just opens them up a little more and has a bit more clarity. You can still hear everything else but these’s not a lot of sparkle which some will approve of if sensitive to that. I would say these are a very commercially tuned set, more suitable for average listeners who just want a relaxed fun sound. No harsh sibilance, no unruly mids and good clean and present bass. If people say they like the sound of the current batch of mid tier bluetooth headphones then these are an easy recommendation (there are differences obviously but i think these are bit smoother as there is no boost in the 1K region).
Overall a very nice set that will please most normal people (unless you are a neutral addict - but you’d already be giving these a swerve no doubt).
Just got the XBX was very excited. But after updating to newest firmware the left screen keeps showing horrible static. Not sure if this is a physical technical fault or if it’s firmware related. I tried 3 different XR leads to ensure it wasn’t a faulty wire (it’s not). Also they connect and disconnect quite a lot on my laptop (something my xreal one pros and rayneo airs don’t do).
Also tried them on my MSI claw and getting the same thing. Lots of static in left screen and they connect/disconnect a lot.
Anyone encounter similar or have I gotten a Lemon?
UPDATE: Xreal support said they were only
On sale in china and because I had them shipped to UK they don’t have infrastructure here to assist with warranty and repairs etc I am returning them now as I can’t risk losing the money. Beware if you are not in China and have these. They will not assist until they sell them in your region.
