Heartrate of 130+ after hard workout for one hour

Hi!
So this happened to me today. I was outside working out and my heartrate goes pretty high during workouts like 180+. I had to drop everything and run back in because my baby woke up and I grabbed him out of bed and jumped around with him. I then sat him back down and was out of breath checking my watch and it showed pretty high so I tried to just relax. It went down to 130 but stayed around there and started getting really anxious (I’m getting evaluated for SVT and was thinking I was having an episode) So I tried bearing down etc but didn’t change my puls. I layed down and it was justb staying arund 130. So I went to take a shower and it spiked it to 170. That’s when I packed up and had my husband drive me to the ER. I was in the car and it went back down to around 90 and when I got out of the car and walked inside it went back up to 165. Their ekg that was taken around 5 minutes after that was at 111 showing steady “normal” rythm. It kept going betwen 90 and 130 during triage and blood pressure was fine too. They ran all kind of labs and all labs look good too. So they don’t really have an explanation.
What do you think?
F 29, 9 months postpartum, 170cm and 65kg, struggling either anxiety especially heart related things.
The first episode I had that brought up svt was that I was at the park, I went to the bathroom, came back, drank water and had an extremely painful swollow sensation, stood up and held my 23 pound baby, then I felt some weird heart stumbling and then my heartrate went up to 180/200. I then layed down and it came back down into the 100 to 140 range for 30 minutes but stayed around 100 to 120 for a couple of hours. I also was extremely anxious during that time. I have ecg (apple watch) from both episodes.

Wanna add that my heartrate has always been very sensite but even worse after having a baby. I pick him up from floor and set him down again and stand up straigt: 149, I push stroller up a slight hill:170.

Also had a clean echo a week ago and had a clean sport test in 2024 that just showed that my heartrate goes high.

What position do you sleep in? Arm/Shoulder pain when top arm is under my head or extended

Hi! Was wondering what everyones favorite position to sleep in is?
I’m new to cosleeping with my 9 month old and usually try and curl around him in the c shape. But it’s a bit hard because he’s so tall (99th percentile at 76cm).
And my shoulder and arm usually hurt so much that I can’t sleep properly. I have it extended or under my head.
I have a blanket that’s inbetween my legs and my pillow that’s only on my side not above his head.

Are we eating or avoiding salads?

Are you eating salad? Or are you still avoiding it? Been avoiding it so far but might risk it for a chicken caesar wrap.

MIL kissed baby and lied about it now wants a reason so it’s easier to control her urges.

Ewwwwww. Writing the titel alone made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
So MIL kissed and raspberried our 9 month olds neck even though we had the no kissing rule in place since before he was born.
First she lied that she didn’t do it, then she went silent, then she said she did it but our rules are to hard and that she needs an explanation to why no kissing at this point because that would make it easier for her to resist her urges and that she’s just an affectionate grandmother.
At this point I’m more than fed up with her. The urges thing makes her sound like a predator. I can literally say no to my dog and she listens. So does she have less self control than my literal dog?
Also the lying. Like why would I ever trust her again. How does she not see this herself?
I know we should go NC. I know it, my husband knows it and multiple people and therapists have told us so. But it’s hard. And sadly not always possible.
So how do I make it work without NC? We’ll push the next visit out as far as possible. I’m going to not let her hold him and she’s never alone with him anyways. One snarky comment and she won’t see us for a couple of months.

9 month sleep regression. When does it end?

We’ve been dealing with a sleep regression and I think I just want to get some advice and see if anyone else is going through the same thing.
Our baby was a unicorn sleeper and slept through the night at 10 days old. Since then we’ve always gotten 10pm to 7am stretches. For 4 weeks now he wakes 3-4 times a night. It’s like he sits up not fully awake yet and then freaks out. Usually 1-1.5 hours after going to bed then again an 1-2 hours later and then again around 5-6. And then up around 7-8. He always wants to drink and then falls asleep pretty easily. So it’s still pretty ok but segmented sleep just sucks.
He currently takes 2 naps one at 11 for 1-1.5 hours and one around 3 for around 2 hours.
He’s doing solids twice a day and he still nurses on demand around 4 times a day. He goes to bed between 8:30 and 9:30. He sleeps in our room and we are not sleep training.

MIL lied about kissing our baby - keeps lying and destroying all trust

So we have this rule that nobody kisses our baby. I know a lot of people do not agree but this just has always been our rule (health, bodily boundaries etc). Now MIL was over a couple of weeks ago and kissed our baby and blew raspberries in his neck. When it happened I grabbed him and washed him off and my husband wrote her afterwards to not do this again. This has been a rule since before we had him so we were both to shocked to speak. I know, dumb. Her response: I didn’t do it. Husband then went NC for two weeks and now she wrote again and said that all our rules are too complicated and she did kiss him and blow raspberries.
She did not apologize.
I’m just so fed up with the lying. This has not been the first time. There was one incident when he was a NEWBORN where she didn’t tell us about her passing out (resolved now) out of fear that she wouldn’t be allowed to hold him. Being completely fine with risking dropping a baby. She then lied about when she found out and when she told other people etc. One of my husband’s cousins told us because she was afraid that she would drop him.
I’m just so pissed by now. Like how would I ever be able to trust her if her first instinct is lie? He will never be alone with her but what if he would be and he’d fall and hit his head and she wouldn’t tell us out of fear of not seeing him anymore?
I’m so pissed at her. How do adult people behave this way.

ECG’s Average Heartrate completely different than when AI calculates it

Not sure if this question is allowed but I had a high heartrate event that I am getting evaluated for. Now the ecg says that I had an average heartrate of 181 while the health app shows bpms that are in the 200s.
When AI (claude and openAI) calculate the beats they are all above 200-220. But they do it by looking at the pdf and then calculating it with the graph. I’m not sure what’s more accurate in this instance.
Does anyone know?

How much money did you spend on clothes the first 18 months of your babies life?

I just calculated how much I’ve spent so far and I am a bit shocked. lol. Might have a small problem? Was wondering how much others have spent so far.
Please don’t leave me alone with my 3k 😭

Let me add that I will be reusuing this stuff for hopefully two more kids. lol. At least that’s what I tell myself.

Edit 2: Just gonna keep commenting on here. It’s so cool that so many of you got hand me downs and gifts! I’m in a different country than my parents and they are the only ones who gift us clothes. But we are only able to get those 1-2 times a year. And we only had one friend that gave us some hand me downs.
I definitely have spent too much though.

How are we not getting dizzy lifting 20 lbs+ babies up from the floor?

I’ve always had slightly low blood pressure when standing up so now standing up with a baby makes me a bit dizzy most of the time. It also skyrockets my bpm.
The worst are the night time wake ups. Like how am
I supposed to not get dizzy if I get woken up from deep sleep, bent down to get my 23 pound baby off the lowest level in his crib?

Does anyone struggle with the same thing? And what are your tips?

Has anyone ever had a “swollowing” induced svt?

My doctors are trying to figure out what it was and svt is on the table. I basically took an incredibly painful sip
of water and it lead to some ectopics and then a high heart rate of an average of 181.

SVT or weird vagus nerve stimulation - Doctors are saying different things

Hi! I’m writing here to maybe get some more insight because I keep getting different answers.
I had a weird episode about a month ago where I was already highly anxious, I took a sip from my waterbottle and it hurt really badly (so badly I thought for a second I swollowed glass and it cut me on the way down), I then started to get some fluttering in my chest like ectopic beats but not as powerful bit definitely a couple and then I felt a surge of adrenaline and my heartrate went up. When I checked I did an ecg with my watch and it said 181 and I saw some spikes that showed 208. I don’t remember if I was standing and holding my arm
or resting it on my knee. But I then layed down and tried to just calm myself down and it went back down again within 2 minutes to 120ish. Either when it started to go off or when it slowed down I watched it. Like I remember seeing a 149, 161 etc.

I then called our nurseline and they said it’s svt, extra circuit, it will happen again etc and really scared me.
Went to urgent care to get checked out in person and they said that it sounds like I stimulated my vagus nerve funny with the painful swollow and that theoretically it could have been svt but not to worry.
And then my ob said it would be good to see a cardiologist just in case and they basically said that they don’t know because they only have the apple watch ecg (doesn’t show pwave but might get lost because of the quality and high heartrate) and that it sounds like svt, if it happenes a lot I can get ablation, learn vagal maneuvers and he also is prescibing me emergency medication. But he also saif it sounded like a weird circumstance and he doesn’t think I’ll have it again and he doesn’t think I’d need meds because my body recovered so fast.

But now I’m spiraling especially because I take a lot of transatlantic flights. What if it ever happens on a flight.

Edit: female, 29, had full cardio workup in 2024 that looked good.

9 month sleep regression. Any tips welcome.

Hey! So I’m a FTM to a 9 month old who’s going through a bit of a sleep regression atm. He was a unicorn sleeper and sleeping through the night since he was 10 days old.
Currently he wakes up around one hour after putting him to bed which varies between 9pm
and 10pm, and then again between 3:30am and 5:30am and then he’s awake at 7:30am.

Our schedule is the following atm (breastfeeding on demand):
7:30 wakeup
10:00 nap for 1 hours
11:00 lunch
1:00 nap for 1-2hours
5:00 nap for 1 hour
between 6:00 and 7:30 dinner
9:00 trying to get him to bed

What would you change about this schedule?
He’s sleeping in our room and falls asleep in our bed. His crib is next to my bed and currently on the lowest level. The issues started when we lowered his crib. Before that he was on eye level.
He usually sits up and starts bawling.
His naps can be very long especially if he’s in our bed and I’m laying next to him.

Can motorized anything just stay of the bike path please?

The amount of people just zooming by is insane. Especially when you’re out with your kid. Completely reckless. Also, what parents are buying their kids those electric bikes/mopeds? They are driving around like maniacs not even knowing the simplest traffic rules.

Don’t stay updated with the ongoing Lindsay C. trial. For your own mental wellbeing.

Hey. I just needed to get this out here. Don’t stay updated with this trial, especially if you’re already struggling with anxiety and are postpartum. I have gotten a couple of videos in my feed about the whole thing and it makes my stomach turn and sends me down an extremely anxious spiral.

Covid Impfung Babies

Does anyone have “night terrors” as symptoms?

My husband wakes up multiple times a night with night terrors and we just can’t fogure out why this is happening. He’s had it his whole life and so did his dad but for some reason nobody ever looked into it.
At this point he wakes me up 3-6 times a night and it gets worse when he’s stressed. We’re scheduled with a specialist but the earliest appointment is in December.

Anyone else not having any appetite post partum?

I’m 9 months post partum now and am still struggling with no appetite. If I wouldn’t have to eat and nurish my body because I still breastfeed I’d probably forget eat until dinner. I lost nearly 60 pounds so far and am
below my pre pregnancy weight. All my blood tests etc are good and everything else is also fine. I just have really bad health anxiety currently. And am wondering if it’s the hormones.
Everyone in my life is telling me to be excited but I just want to feel good.
