I wish new people watching Naruto nowadays would watch the Boruto movie

Everyone ends at the Last Naruto movie, and drops Naruto there. OR goes straight into the Boruto episodes

I was there when Naruto ended. I saw the Last in theatres, and then saw the Boruto movie in theaters. It was so epic, and that REALLY felt like the end of the show. The Last ends on a 10 second fast forward, and Shippuden doesn't cover him being Hokage. As someone who watched the Boruto movie years before a show was announced, this is the correct way to end the series. From there you can either drop your Naruto journey, or watch the Boruto show

You don't really get a real 'epilogue' or sense of closure until you watch the Boruto movie. That was the real end. The show came after, years after, after the success of both movies. But if you watch the Boruto movie, you got a sense you could end your Naruto journey there

The movie is the epilogue, and wraps everything in a beautiful bow

My cap settings/inputs

I don't think these can get any better, but I'm definitely biased lol

I use a plain old regular ps5 controller, but control freeks on them

I miss this game

No other anime fighter after it has come close in my opinion.

Loved playing it, being on this sub reddit, playing against y'all

Good times. Game got a lot of unnecessary hate unfortunately.

Here's hoping we get another great Naruto fighter of any kind in the near future.

Brainstorming: 1 small change/idea

For his shoulder bash/dash, to gain 1 tick towards sentinel strike.

So 1 melee + bash = you now have your 4 sentinel strikes

Just one idea. I think it would work great with his flow. I use it offensively all the time, but most only use it as an escape tool. This would bring even more value as an offensive tool, and I feel it's a very small/miniscule change.

Granted, I'm not expecting it, and it's fine if it never happens.

Just thought it would make sense.

I LOVE tanking

Love it. I'll always be a tank main.

We may have it rough sometimes, but the highs are higher than the lows.

8.5 in particular has been great 👍

I love being an integral part of the team, making space, doing good damage, blocking damage, getting elims, peeling etc. You kinda do it all.

350+ hours later, 58% win rate

This includes quick play where everything goes and where I'm not all that serious. This also includes when I first started learning Cap, meaning I wasn't great at first, I had to learn the character, practice him etc.

But after I mastered him, I guess my wins became more consistent.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Cap has never been better

350+ hours on him alone

This is the best he has ever been (especially with the 8.5 nerfs to other characters).

Removing animation cancel was a blow to a lot of people, and they left him, now they think he is 'dead'. Others dont even see him or don't go agaisnt him at high ELO, so also may think he is useless. But they could not be any more wrong.

The melee cancel damage is insanely nasty, that compensation buff was great. Its just a tad different gameplay, but after adjusting, I mean Cap never left - he only got better - especially for those who stuck around.

Thats why he has a positive win rate and why he is S in almost any tier list.

Now, I obviously dont want him to get nerfed, the best thing that could happen to Cap is for Netease to essentially not look at him, no buffs, no nerfs. Just let him be and address the other characters. However, I am also a realistic person, and if he gets something, it will likely be a nerf, not a buff.

So I am getting ready mentally, just in case LOL. But I played cap in S0 and S1.....and that was rough. Today, the worse they could do is make vibranium saw back to 8 seconds, but I was used to that, and I will get used to it again. Or a tad change to his shield, or a tad change to his hp, or his ult, etc. Whatever they do, i dont think will possibly destroy the character.

Anyhow, cap is great, any other narrative is simply wrong

2 is my favorite in the series

This somehow feels like a controversial take, but I adore 2. I didn't mind the gatcha mechanics, and I thought the voice acting was fine.

I love the characters, the story, the MUSIC.

But what really seals the deal for me is: GAMEPLAY

This is the BEST battle mechanic in the series hands down. It's so incredibly deep. Once you get your head around it, it's so much fun how basically one thing stacks on top of another. You're always building towards something in the combat, it's addictive. And when you've got it figured out, by the end of the game there's yet another twist that allows you to do even more as Rex

Maybe there's things people dislike about this game, and I can understand them (although I didn't mind them). But combat wise? This is the series at its peak.

I didn't enjoy 3 as much due to this, it was a step down
