Uber Support. Was this a scam/what's the scam?
I got a call from "Uber Support" . Indian voice, asking about the first order I picked up, as I was picking up a 2nd order. I admit, I was a little belligerent, because I already assumed it was a scam. At first I didn't even know what order they were inquiring about they asked for it by name rather than restaurant. Anyways, I just was like I can't tell you anything about that order because I am picking up a different order. Then they asked how many orders do I have before that one/what order will the 1st pickup be dropped off. I was like I won't know until I finish this pickup. They said okay, no problem, and hung up. I then confirmed the 2nd pickup, which happened to be scheduled to drop off first. A few minutes later the 2nd order was canceled.
I got free dinner out of it, but curious what this was all about? What's the play?
Amidst these high gas prices, UE is screwing you on routes
UE has aways prioritized speed over distance, and will send you miles out of the way to save 1 minute of time. Lately I have seen something even more heinous.
UE will send you on a miles longer route even when it TAKES LONGER. I believe this is to keep drivers on the road when there may be gaps between orders to give them more time for an add-on or additional order.
The workaround: Use Google Maps or another map app on every order. If you open the other map app, and the route matches UE, then fine, just use UE for that delivery, but always check your route against another map app first!.
Pimp C was furious at Andre 3000....
“Fck this muthafcka!” 👀🔥😂
André 3000 revealed that one of the most iconic openings in Hip-Hop almost caused him a serious disagreement with Pimp C.
When André received “Int’l Players Anthem”, he decided his verse would sound better if the drums completely disappeared during his opening. The problem was he made the change without asking UGK first:
“Pimp was so mad at me because they sent the beat and I wrote my verse, put my words down and I took the beat out for me to rap.
When I sent it back to them, Pimp was like, ‘Fck this muthafcka, man! This n***a done damn took my beat out! Who the f*ck he think he is?!’ So he was really mad at the choice that I had made to take the beat out”.
Someone in UGK’s camp eventually explained that once André finished his drumless opening, Pimp’s entrance with the beat dropping back in would hit even harder.
Pimp ultimately went with it, and the exact thing that initially pissed him off became one of the most recognizable moments of the entire record.
Need a honest answer here: where do yall rank 3 stacks?
Is Big Boi actually the most underrated elite rapper in hip-hop history?
“What I’ma do? Say some mind sh*t?” 👀🔥🐐
André 3000 doesn’t believe he is the best rapper in OutKast.
While fans constantly place Three Stacks among hip-hop’s greatest lyricists, André himself gave that crown to Big Boi:
“Big Boi can rap better than me, I always said that”.
André also revealed that Big Boi was the more confident leader during OutKast’s early years and said if he had to choose one member of the duo to enter a rap battle, he wouldn’t choose himself:
“What I’ma do? Say some mind sh*t? You can’t have thoughts in a battle, nobody gives a sh*t about that.”
