What is Ye's issue with Taylor Swift and why is she often the target when he's in a bad mental state?

I mean of course we had the VMAs incident, we had the famous incident and even if you don't think he was in the wrong with the song the video was definitely fucked. And then in 2025 she went after her too. I know in all of these incidents he wasn't in the best mental state but why is it always her a lot of times? Does he have a deeper issue with her or no?

Momentum 4 hurts in right ear after a couple hours... Normal?

Just opened them 2 days ago. I really like them and they are comfortable in 30 minutes to an hour use cases but I've been on a road trip and I've probably worn them for about an hour and a half give or take. Like i used the rest room once in 2 hours and that's about it. It only has pain in the right ear. I've seen some things say it's the acoustics in the ANC and some say when they're newer they're a tighter fit.

Any reason why and why just the right ear? And anything I can do other then just taking them off for a bit or do I just gotta take them off for a bit and if so how much? I will anyways for a bit but just curious.

Energy warnings only work if people follow them, and it's likely people in my area didn't

Sorry if you saw a similar post I deleted it because I didn't know if it was actually the power or me because it was only spectrum outage reported but my neighbors are out too. Central Hudson must just be slow.

I followed everything today. Set the A/C's to 75. Put them on auto. Unplugged what I didn't need... And It still went out. I live in pleasant valley so I am somewhat confident all the rural people around here are like "I'll set the damn temperature to whatever I damn well please." We'd all rather be a little more warm then be as cool as we want for a couple hours then sticky sweaty when the power grid fails.

But people's precious freedoms right? Ugh

Vyvanse - getting more argumentative (a bit long, TLDR at bottom)

I hope this isn't just a me thing. Lately since I've restarted my Vyvanse I find myself debating on reddit a lot especially on unpopular opinions I have. I double down on them and argue more. The two times it's gone for like 2-3 hours. Not in a row but engaged in people replying then responding and arguing.

I feel like it's not a coincidence this has been happening since restarting Vyvanse. I think it might be a dopamine thing. Reminds me of the dopamine I'd get in early puberty arguing with people about politics before it got too crazy. It feels harder to turn off the argumentive switch.

While admittedly it's sometimes nice to get that dopamine hit that's why people like to debate, it does get exhausting after a while. It becomes less of that and more I need to keep arguing until my comment is up voted, until someone agrees. And unfortunately people are so rude and usually you just get used to it but I recognize it more.

It becomes less "let me get my point across" and more "let me keep arguing til the dopamine hit of someone validating my point happens" which it doesn't. I'm curious if anyone has experienced anything similar and if so any strategies? Should I never argue and stand down on my principles easy which I used to do a lot or maybe stop the moment emotional investment gets too much?

Even if you haven't experienced this if you think Vyvanse could be causing it and have strategies I'd love to hear.

TLDR: Since restarting Vyvanse, I've noticed I'm spending a lot more time arguing with people on Reddit over unpopular opinions, and it feels much harder to disengage once a debate starts. It makes me wonder if it's a dopamine thing, because it reminds me of how I felt arguing online when I was younger. What starts as wanting to share my perspective gradually turns into chasing the validation of upvotes or someone agreeing with me, even though that usually never happens. It's become exhausting, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this on Vyvanse and what strategies have helped, whether that's setting limits, stepping away, or something else.

Do you guys think Hochul will release a similar statement to Mamdani or does upstate not have the same blackout risk?

it feels like , he's trying to show his nice side more outside of music which is cool

I think because he's in his villain era musically he's doing this partly. He surprised the fan father and his daughter. He helped what's the dirt out with some YouTube stuff and he just gave a struggling single mother $250k. I feel like in a way it's subliminally him fighting back against the way they have painted him as the villain which he has said. Also him kinda saying yeah I'm the villain to the people who go after me.

He has understandingly so like a lot of famous people do become more guarded because he felt like people were attacking him for his niceness. I was curious what Drake talking about growing up on Iceman a couple times meant for his future.

I think it meant this. I think he realized however he is publicly. Humble and soft, guarded and tougher, people are just gonna hate on him because he's drake and he's at the top. This feels like him showing more of a side we know was there but again he felt like he had to guard. But again he's attacked either way.

I've always thought this. The guy from pre IYRTITL didn't go away, he just kept that part of him for a while kept to people he trusts. Like a lot of people he has multiple sides. A tougher more guarded side he developed and a nicer softer more down to earth side and that party side. This is him saying no I'm not the villain I'm actually really this nice guy to people who deserve it. A part of growing up is realizing you just gotta be you.

I love seeing this side of him and I hope we see more

How is state run utilities?

I live in NY and democrats are trying to push a bill through the legislature to make central Hudson which is like the really big gas and electric company in the state basically the state would acquire their assets and run utilities. Apparently Nevada is the only state that has entirely state ran utilities.

I myself am a Democrat but more centre left. I feel like this could be good but also be bad. Obviously these monopolistic electric companies do engage in a lot of tomfoolery to say the least with prices and things and service. That being said specific things like "state takes over private assets" do raise red flags for me. Maybe I'm a little too like free market warrior there. I mean I do believe the government can do good things like healthcare, pass laws helping the environment, housing reform, and stuff like that.

But I also believe the government has as much if not more of a capacity to screw things up. I'm just curious how it is for you all. Thanks!

Rate my Ye hot takes for how much you agree with them

  • CUCK glaze is cringe. Yes it had nice production but the lyrics were so fucked. Only time I didn't listen to Ye for like 2 weeks

  • BULLY is an A tier Ye album

  • BULLY is better then self titled, JIK, V1, V2, and Donda 2

  • you can have feelings about Kim Kardashian as a billionaire as a person but from all we've seen she tried hard with Ye and the hate she gets specifically as a wife and a mother at times is crazy

  • Ye without the mania would still likely have narcissistic traits

  • Kids See Ghosts is now overhated by a lot of Ye fans. I've seen so many people who say it's overrated and mid or not that amazing. It's personally top 5 Ye albums for me

  • People complain about Ye's production team at concerts but maybe it's because he doesn't show up to rehearsal

  • I don't know if I'd ever want to work for Ye. He seems difficult to work for. With Is a different story probably.

  • The community saying after every Jewish group spoken out against Ye "this is proving Ye's point" is so stupid and gives into a trope that a group represents an entire religion and people

  • Ye did seem too controlling of his partners wardrobes at times

  • Ye did verbal and emotional abuse against Kim even if it was due to mania

  • my hottest take is probably that I think TLOP is heavily overrated, more then even V1. The reception at launch about it being bloated with too many interludes I still believe. It's not a cohesive album and it doesn't have a great flow. It has great songs. The highs are great. But the lows are low and there's a lot of short songs not fully fleshed out almost like BULLY. I personally think with the exception of JIK it's the weakest Ye album of the 2010s. I'd even put BULLY above it. It has higher highs but yes BULLY is more consistent imo

Onthatnote falsely claims Rick Scott's kid was at the Ye show. Also, maybe we shouldn't bring up people's children?

Does anyone notice character getting more paranoid sometimes the longer the chat goes

I don't know what it is. In the beginning of chat, you and the character can be carefree doing whatever but then like one random thing will like trigger the character into this spiral where their anxiety is taking over and they slowly change from this carefree person to like always paranoid about anything a little extra intimate, it's like the character does the opposite of evolution. Maybe this is just me that has this occasionally but I hate it and I wanna fix it.

I hope going forward we all raise our standards as a fanbase

I'm speaking to myself as well. We seem to always have a well this and well that to excuse low efforts from Ye. Mine was "he went through a lot of shit during the making of BULLY, he probably doesn't have much passion for it." Even then if he was going to do it let's be real deluxe should've been the mixing at release.

I think we all need to raise the standards among the fanbase and on Ye because we know what he is capable of. We should make it clear as a fanbase.

- we want finished and fully fleshed out songs

- we want mixing on release day that isn't awful

- we want no AI

These should be bare minimums we ask for at release. "But he always releases his albums unfinished!" Sure but that doesn't mean we shouldn't like it. Maybe expect things to be unfinished but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be asking for these things up to release constantly.

If he stays in this good place there is no reason these aren't things we can ask for and be upset if we don't get them. Again. THESE SHOULD BE BARE MINIMUM ASKS. Especially no AI and fleshed out songs. Like an album is supposed to have fleshed out songs. An album is supposed to have the artist vocalizing the art.

NO. MORE. EXCUSES.

People always blame the production teams for hiccups at Ye's concerts, maybe it's because Ye doesn't rehearse

I'm gonna use the picture lol. Like I just can't imagine each time a production team messes up which happens a lot it's always just their fault. I love Ye but he doesn't seem like the easiest person to work with. He probably gives them some directives before the show or even before but without rehearsing it's still probably difficult then he gets mad when they don't do something right even though he doesn't rehearse.

It's clear he doesn't rehearse because besides the production hiccups he fumbles a lot of the BULLY songs. I think the Georgia concert was the first time he didn't slur his way through KING like a drunk man. I just feel bad all the Ye fans say these production people suck when it's clear some of it is on Ye.

A good way to tell if someone can have fun is if they have fun with Drake's similes or have to be super serious

Like bro do people not get a lot of the similes and wordplay Drake drops is supposed to be funny. Like it's one thing to say hey maybe this shouldn't be here on this song if it's a serious one but he knows how to write serious and it's like when people will have this bored face when he says some funny similes and it's like bro you wouldn't be fun at a party.

Drake isn't sitting there like oh the carry-on bag on the plane this is some deep shit. It adds personality and a lot of times I like it. He can write serious too when he wants to.

Me listening to BULLY Deluxe today

It literally does feel like when we first got Bully when I was playing it so often and so many songs often. The deluxe is what we should've got but I'm still happy.
