Thank you to everyone that has joined this sub, I am saddened to leave the community I spent so long building on obscuremusicthatslaps but motivated to start fresh and continue operating as I have for the past 4 months.

Why leave obscuremusicthatslaps and start a new sub? Well I didn't want to, and the why isn't important, but I was no longer welcome on obscuremusicthatslaps even though I have done all of the mod work for the past 4 months day in and day out.

I created the rules and implemented them, added flairs for users and posts, found artists to promote solo and with the help of my team, kept the sub true to its name, created a network with other mods and most importantly built a tight knit community of amazing people that supported each other with upvotes on posts and discussions in comments.

So while this is goodbye from me on obscuremusicthatslaps, r/obscuremusicthatbangs will continue to be the spiritual home of all your slapping needs. I hope to see many familiar faces over there and I will continue to run the sub the exact same way with my ruleset.
