How does everyone else feel about the believability of bad choices in horror movies now that we know our society is full of morons?
After decades of yelling at the screen because people do stupid stuff in horror movies, I’ve found myself lately being much less incredulous at the terrible decisions characters make in classic horror situations. Check out that weird noise in the basement? Yep, for sure people are that dumb. Ignore warnings about zombies, aliens, catastrophic weather, etc.? 100% believable. Why did I think for so long people are smarter than they are?
