Did pronto contact your employer? (rose property)

I’m working with pronto for a re-rental, and the property is conducting their review now. I submitted my employer’s contact, but they haven’t been emailed yet. We set my move-in date for exactly a month from now. Wondering if anyone has experience with whether pronto / a pronto property / rose properties contacted your employer

Myrtle B’way brownstone room lease takeover 1290$ 1 July

🚨Private bedroom in brownstone lease takeover, Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, 1290$ plus utilities. 1 July move-in🚨

I’ve lived in this top floor walk-up brownstone for two years. I’m moving to a new neighborhood to live on my own, otherwise I would have stayed. I love this apartment and the location is prime. We are the top floor unit of four units. All three of my roommates are staying. All of our neighbors are quiet and kind. We help each other out and there is a nice community feel which we want to preserve.

2 of my 3 roommates are gay and we would prefer another queer man. Open to anyone though.

1290$ is the current rent price, we haven’t been informed of an increase, but we expect little to no change.

Under 15 minute commute into the City!

Private room with large windows, queen size bed fits, updated kitchen / bathroom, electric black out shades, with tall 13’ ceilings make the apartment feel huge.

4 bed 2 bath. Bathroom is shared with flight attendant who isn’t home too often.

Available in Stuy Heights aka Bed Stuy, or Bedford Stuyvesant, near Bushwick, Brooklyn. Cross streets are Lewis and Vernon.

Less than 5 minute walk to JMZ Myrtle Broadway station. Right around the corner from immense entertainment and dining options. Clubs such as Paragon, the Market Hotel, and Rash are right around the corner. We have Indian food, West African, upscale contemporary, and a variety of Latin options as well. Grocery stores are around a three minute walk. Lots of delis and convenience options. An even longer list of bars.

In addition to all these conveniences, the apartment is on the third and top floor of a historic brownstone on a quiet tree-lined one way street. There’s rarely much noise.

Apartment Amenities Quick List:
• In unit laundry
• Central heating and a/c
• Private room queen sized
• Large closets and storage space
• Two shared bathrooms
• Shared, updated kitchen with large fridge, and dishwasher
• No pets in unit, for allergy prone folks

Feel free to message me! I’m happy to answer any questions.

Foreign tourists - guide now required?

I read on some other chats that expensive guides are now required for foreign tourists. Some also say that if you own a bike then you don’t need a guide, but you still need to get permits. Does anyone know the legitimacy of this information? Is there any official information posted online? Thank you

Qanot Sharq Airlines (HH)

Has anyone flown this airline? They announced a new route HH101 and HH102 TAS <-> JFK beginning 3 June.

Haven’t seen any reports on prices or how to book a ticket. Seems to still be impossible to reserve on their main site.

Cheapest Way to Venezuela

I’m wanting to backpack in Venezuela this summer. I’ve read some places there used to be ferries or water taxis between Trinidad and Venezuela. I’m hoping I can take that ferry directly from the airport in July or August. Otherwise I’m assuming the cheapest would be to fly to Colombia first then go by land? Flights to Caracas from NYC are $1,000 US+.

Any recommendations welcome.
