AI has made my “dashboard creation” skills useless

Spent a lot of time in my career perfecting dashboards and getting them fully functional, displaying good data, and making it visually appealing and spending time analyzing them the way I like to analyze the data

Now we are using an AI feature through google gemini and now I no longer need to spend time making any sort of dashboard anymore.

Fast paced beautiful historical shows like Medici

Looking for shows set in historical times that are fast paced and visually cool to watch. I would normally be bored of period drama and politics, but Medici is brilliant and super appealing to watch. Feel like my eyes are glued to the screen the whole time. The plot itself moves constantly even when there is just dialogue and It seems to pull you in from the very first scene.

Give me more of these types of shows

Most unexpectedly feel good episodes in shows that aren’t meant to be feel good

Looking for a show thats not meant to be a feel good show at all but has feel good episodes in it that are completely unexpected. Like something that gives you goosebumps because of how feel good it gets given everything else that has happened in the previous episodes. Like something that makes your jaw drop and go “where the fuck did that come from?”

The Intouchables (2011 French movie)

Watch The Intouchables which is free on those free streaming platforms like Tubi or Kanopy. You are going to go into the movie thinking you are going to cry your heart out but its going to be for an entirely different reason. What a movie honestly. The main actors do a phenomenal job in this. Cheered me right up. Such a feel good movie.

Did I ruin my starter?

Its been over 2 weeks

I was consistently doing a 1:1:1 ratio of about 25g starter, 25g flour and 25 g water. I wasnt getting much rise, maybe 20-30% over 4-6 hour period

The last 2-3 days I did a 1:2:2 ratio and saw a rise that doubled. Saw bubbles and activity. I figured it wasn’t ready yet still. I decided if there is this much activity then I can dial it back to 1:1:1 and then see if it more than doubles then ready to use

I stupidly dialed it back to 1:1:1 using 20 g starter, and now its been 5-6 hours and I am seeing no activity and no rise.

I know I am stupid. I established that fact. What do I do?

Can i go back to my discard pile in the fridge and start with that?

Some lighter underrated fantasy movies

I want some lighthearted fantasy movies that are recent. I know one that came out was The Princess with Joey King. Really never mentioned on this sub or anywhere. I thought it was great to watch, perfect for a weeknight. Solidly average imdb rating of 5.7 out of 10. Give me more underrated ones like these please

Day 15 starter. How does it look?

I was initially using 100% whole wheat but switched to half whole wheat and half bread flour. I was doing 1:1:1 ratio of 30g starter to 30g flour to 30g water

Today on Day 15 I dialed it back to 25g and upped ratio to 1:2:2 so using 50g of flour and 50g water. Again half whole wheat and half bread flour.

After 3-4 hours, I am seeing this (in picture). Do I keep going like this for a few more days or what?

Fun, “turn off your brain” movies like Jumanji

Im requesting fun “turn off your brain” movies like Jumanji version with Jack Black and The Rock. Just very light, recent, and enjoyable to watch tonight. I haven’t used my noggin a whole lot this past week and I would like to continue through this weekend. Just something to watch after dinner.

I dont need an Oscar nominated or IMDB 7/10+ to watch. Fine with mediocre / just good movies. Underrated movies that dont get mentioned much would be nice too

I just really want to be transported to a place thats unusual and unique and doesn’t remind me of home or daily life

Day 12. Where am I headed?

I just changed jars yesterday but apologies for the terrible job of scraping the sides.

I have been using whole wheat flour and daily feeding the starter. Today is Day 12 but I usually do feed it in the evening.

I have been seeing gradual improvements in the rise but nothing drastic yet. I know its still a young starter so trying my best here. I do a 1:1:1 ratio everyday. Process is to add 30 grams of flour to jar, 30 grams of the flour, and 30 grams of filtered water which might be a little colder than lukewarm. And then mix it up and loosely put on the lid. Its kept in a warm spot.

Really funny laugh out loud comedy thats perfect for a Sunday night

I have the Sunday scaries big time and truly dreading work among other things this week. Things are stressing me out a lot

I also haven’t helped myself the past few weeks by turning off every movie I find. I am going to try my best this time and stay committed to watching everything you all suggest.

Give me the funniest movies perfect for a Sunday night to watch that will cure me. And by perfect for a sunday night, I mean something that fits with the vibe of a Sunday night

Always check the inside of your shoes before wearing them in the summer

You never know when there is something in them. Don’t ask me how I know. Yeah.

Edit: huge palmetto bug

How far is the nearest pink flamingo to where you are right now?

Based on where you are at this exact moment, how far is the nearest pink flamingo to you? Any unit of measurement or time is acceptable. Just curious.

spots around to town to just hang out and eat outdoors?

Are there any cool, quiet-ish spots around town with decent views that you recommend where I can just bring a book and some lunch and just eat and hang out in for a few hours?

Movies that give you a really deep visceral experience

A visceral experience is a deep, instinctive and emotional reaction that you feel physically in your body because of what you are experiencing in the movie. What are movies that have given you this feeling? I think maybe I have gotten this feeling from Blood Diamond or Dune (when the Harkkonen attack House Atreides) or Game of Thrones (battle of the bastards, Jon snow reveal)

Whats easier on the eyes to read on? The mini or the kindle?

I would just like some unbiased opinions. What is easier to read on. Is it the mini or kindle? The kindle paperwhite looks… just like paper and I dont strain my eyes reading on it. Its also great Incan adjust the font and text. I have terrible terrible eyesight

How is the mini in comparison?
