Hey! Wondering how y'all find out about local shows/concerts in Seattle. Concert Calendars, Facebook Groups, Instagram, or websites. Any tips are appreciated. My band Cherokee Social is playing Seattle on Nov 6th and 9th and we are looking for places to post our gigs.
Thanks.
Hey y'all. Im trying to recreate the synth Lead in this song that starts at 0:18
The song is Times are Changing by Astrality & Thandi
I work with Serum mainly so if anyone has preset already that would be much appreciated.
If not any idea as a jumping off point to make my own patch would be great.
Thanks!
Hey y'all. My band Cherokee Social is going on a massive 50 date US tour this fall and I need to book a show on either September 17th or 18th in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is preferred but we can make anything work. I've found the locals usually have a better feel for the music scene than just googling music venues in the area. We are a high energy indie pop act and so we are looking for something that has a decent sound system.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
My band is touring through Sioux Falls and we’re trying to figure out the best ways to get the word out about our show.
For those of you who regularly go to local shows/concerts, how do you usually find out about them? Local Instagram/Facebook pages, venues, flyers, Reddit, local music calendars, word of mouth, something else?
We’d love to promote the show in ways that actually reach people who are into live music, so any recommendations for local pages, groups, calendars, venues, or other resources would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
Curious how people around Lawrence usually find out about live music. Is it mostly this subreddit, Instagram, flyers around town, word of mouth, venue calendars, or something else?
I’m asking because my band, Cherokee Social, will be playing at The Replay Lounge on September 9th, and I realized I don’t really know the best way to reach folks who are actually looking for shows to go to.
So, Lawrence — where do you usually discover a show that you end up going to?

Hey r/norfolk!
My band, Cherokee Social, is coming through Norfolk on October 19th to open for Ian McConnell at The Annex, and it'll be our first time really getting to explore the city.

If you're already planning on coming out to see Ian McConnell at The Annex, we'd love for you to catch our set too and come say hi afterward!
