I swear having a kayak on my roof is a freaking magnet for tailgaters. I mean sure I may drive a little more gingerly with a 100 pound kayak strapped to my roof but I'm doing the speed limit. Why are you riding my ass for no reason? Go around me you dork.

Also something I realized is there is a danger for those of us who wake up hella early to go fishing, hunting, work, whatever. The drunken pieces of garbage who are still out from the night before. I see them on the road driving while clearly drunk. I see them in Wawa while getting my coffee and water clearly wasted being total douchebags. I almost got T boned by some drunk driver recently who blew a red light then was swerving all over the road. Called 911 and gave them the plate and location but who knows if they got him.

Anyways rant over, be careful out there people. So you can enjoy many more days on the water.

I have never used a spoon to catch fish but want to start using them. What are some of your favorite brands and weights?

Anyone ever fish the small lake on Burlington Island in the Delaware River? Are you even allowed to fish there? I was thinking about kayaking across the river from the NJ side then fishing that small lake on the island. Is it even possible to get to?

So to preface this I have only fished for bass all my life. But lately as I'm sitting in my kayak on this one particular lake I fish there is non stop carp jumping all around me. I know they're carp because I can see the copper/orange color of them when they break the surface. Literally all morning this morning they were jumping. How can I catch these fish? I never knew carp jumped like that. Why do they do it? Are they going after like bugs on the surface? I always thought of carp as bottom feeding fish that just sucked up stuff of the bottom. Which apparently is wrong. I'm assuming some kind of artificial lures wouldn't work on carp so what would you recommend I use to catch these fish? All my tackle is bass stuff. Spinning reels with 6-12lb line on them and baitcaster reels with 10-20lb line on them. Seems like it would be a blast to have one drag me around in my kayak.

Do they have that fancy Bluetooth water in this universe? Never saw a hose or compressor.

Anyone using a stakeout pole for shallow water anchoring? Thinking about adding one to my kayak. Any recommendations?

Man this one is brutal. The amount of nooks and crannies is insane. Almost done the top of it but I'm dreading doing the bottom. Any tips? Mainly just using my usual yellow and green nozzle.

I'm still rocking a pair of DT990 Pro's. And while I do like them I know they are ancient by todays standards. The insanely long cable is also kind of annoying. I only use them with my PC for gaming, playing and recording guitar/drums and some light video editing. Wired is fine but it would be nice if the cable wasn't 10 feet long. I'd be willing to spend $200-$300.

And is the Switchblade better? I'm currently using the Scotty 141. It was fine with my old Striker 4 transducer. I now have the Striker 4 Vivid CV which has a much larger transducer and the arm seems a little flimsy with that big of a transducer on it. I guess it's fine when down in the water but when I flip it up the weight of the transducer makes it bend. Is the Switchblade more sturdy? Anyone use both of these and can recommend one over the other?

I mean I guess I could try and mount the transducer inside the hull. I have a Quest Teton 100. Only way into the hull is the hatch between my legs. I guess I could mount it in there and run the wire up to where I mount the Garmin unit. I just like being able to remove my electronics because I store my kayak outside. It has a cover and is under a tarp covered teepee type thing I built for kayak storage.

What kind and size hooks are you all using for giant worms. Like 10-12 inch ribbon tail worms.

I have a 32GB kit of Dominator Titanium RAM. Along with the two dummy sticks. Sometimes when I turn on my PC one or two of the sticks will just blink white. Sometimes one stick, sometimes two, could be any of the 4 slots. Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? I use Signal RGB for my RGB needs. A restart will always fix it but it's just annoying to turn on my PC then have to restart it.

Or maybe I missed it in the instructions but whenever I try to turn the knob to loosen it to get it off the track it just spins and spins but doesn't actually loosen. Every turn these two little tabs pop out then pop back in. I always have to spin the entire assembly to get it off. Tightening it is fine, just turn the knob, but getting it off is a pain. Am I doing something wrong? I met a guy at the ramp a couple weeks ago who had the same problem and couldn't figure it out.
