Types of tracks
I’m fairly new to the sport. Are all horse tracks the same general shape? (I know they vary in total length). Or are there some that have different angles/bends to the straightaways similar to how nascar tracks vary.
Thank you!

If someone is following multiple teams, is there a way to keep up with multiple teams at once? Instead of clicking on the drop down menu at the top of the app to choose a different team. Just wondering. Thank you!
The capacitor on my ac unit went out yesterday. I was able to successfully replace it and things are back up and running.
My question is about the thermostat while the house is cooling back down. Should I set the temperature at what we typically have it at and let the unit do its thing? Or should I set the temperature higher than that and step down the temp bit my bit (letting the unit rest some once it reaches that “step”). Or does it even matter?
Hopefully this made sense. There’s currently about a 15° difference between what the thermostat says now and what we typically keep it at. (It says 88° and we typically keep it at 73°).
Of course all of this happened on the hottest day of the year.
Thank you for your help!
Did anybody go to the concert tonight? Just curious how it went. I’m sure the music was good. Tough logistics in that parking lot with a Ridge Yaks game going on and the Salem Fair stuff being set up.
ALF, his reflection and a self portrait painting. In jigsaw puzzle form.
I was looking at it this morning. I love that KVV’s nickname is on the page.
I have a simple delta shaped kite that I love flying when I’m at the beach. The handle that I got for it does great with letting string out, but it can be hard when trying to reel it back in. It’s a circle with a handle in the middle of the circle and a small plastic crank handle that goes in a circle when reeling in.
I was just wondering if anybody had a suggestion or recommendation for something that has better leverage.
Thank you so much!
Is there much of a market for cards featuring athletes on their lesser known team? (Emmett smith on the cardinals/jerry rice on the Seahawks/etc). If everything else was equal (condition/autograph condition/etc), would they hold the same value as the cards of them on their teams that they’re known for?
I hope this made sense.
Thank you!
I recently watched Spotlight and absolutely loved it. I love the investigative side of things. Similar to Dark Waters. That’s another very good movie. Just looking for suggestions similar to those.
Thank you!
I swear he is coded to play the dad role. He does a great job. I know the movie wasn’t a big hit (I only started watching it because of Jimmy Buffett’s music throughout) but Neil does a great job.
I find it funny that one of the best views of the area is in a Walmart parking lot. The Clearbrook a Walmart to be exact.
Another nice view is in Salem when you’re on 4th street (the truck route) driving towards Lowe’s/Main Street. There’s a really nice view of the mountains.
Just an interesting mix of infrastructure and mountainous views.
Have a good day!
Flashback to about 10 years ago. A traveling production of Rent was coming through my town. I made sure to get tickets. At that point I had seen the movie no less than 10 times. It was such a fun experience to hear the songs that didn’t make it into the movie. My mind was blown. Of course in hindsight I should have known that would probably be the case. Just like how movies based on books tend to leave things out. Anyways it was like I was hearing the whole story again for the first time. I loved it.
Just wanted to share. Thank you!
I was gifted some large salt and pepper shakers. They’re ceramic and about the size of a stout can. It got me thinking if anybody else has large salt and pepper shakers?
Thank you so much!
I used to play all the time when I was growing up. I’d love to get back into it, but I’m not sure where to start. Are there any leagues or anything like that? Thank you so much!
I buzz my hair every so often and end up with lots of hair trimmings. I usually just throw them away. Does hair compost?
Thank you!
What are some of the more random combinations of characters that you enjoyed? Do you think the show explored all possible combinations?
I love the Phil/Manny combo in one of the Christmas episodes.
Also the Mitchell/Haley combo where she’s dropping off a doll house.
The other night I dozed off while watching Becker. When I woke up I heard a familiar voice. Turns out it was John Mahoney in an episode of Becker. I did some research and it appears that this was also during the run of Frasier. Interesting. An actor from one popular sitcom was in an episode of a different popular sitcom. On another network no less. Anybody remember other instances of this?
