Twix doesn’t like to burrow under the blanket like his older brother Sonny. He just wants to play tug-of-war whenever I try to cover him.

Sonny is my red miniature pincher and is my second dog. He is turning 14 years old at the end of November. He has pancreatitis, it got really bad in September that the Petsmarts vet wanted him to be put down. But I took him back to see his old vet 1 hour away and she was able to treat him. He is doing good now but is very sensitive to food so no more unhealthy dog treats and no more table scraps. My first dog is Manny (Pomeranian) he passed away last year. His picture is in the last slide.

Perfect weather to go out for a long walk with the minpins. It’s difficult to get good pictures since he’s all over the place.

He is super energetic. I just took him outside for a run and he still very crazy active.

It’s like crack to him

Sonny is 13 years old and has pancreatitis. After over a week of diarrhea and throwing up what little he ate. He is feeling better and nearly back to 100%. The Petsmart vet wanted him put to sleep but I took him back to his old vet an hour away and she was able to treat him. I am looking forward to his 14th birthday at the end of November. I guess it isn’t his time to go! We have to appreciate the little things!

So Sonny (13 years old) has pancreatitis. It got bad last Saturday he wouldn’t lay down in his bed. Then he had explosive diarrhea, then he started throwing up and barely ate. The petsmart vet asked me if I wanted him to be put down. So I went back to my old vet. Had a 2nd opinion and they said they want to try some treatment before they put him to sleep. The reason why I went to the Petsmart vet because I moved out to the middle of nowhere to be closer to my workplace. And my old vet is in Phoenix.

Sonny is a red male purebred minpin. He was born November 2012. I got him on impulse browsing Craigslist for $45. He loves looking for squirrels when we lived in the Midwest. He hates bath. Sonny has a large skin tag on his neck that he keeps scratching so it bleeds. But then he developed pancreatitis and it got really bad to the point were he doesn’t want to eat and if he does he throws up and he has explosive diarrhea. I was hoping that he got to celebrate his 14th birthday and be around for his new brother. I was planning on putting him to sleep this Saturday but since his health is declining I wanted to give him one last human meal before he no longer has the energy or appetite.

He turns 14 in November but he developed pancreatitis so I have made the decision to end his suffering this Saturday 😭 I had him since he was 8 weeks so I’m going to be very sad. The 1st picture is him today. While the 2nd was a few years ago and the 3rd pic was when he was a puppy.
