At work this week one person was talking about a dog they'd adopted; a recent test had shown the mutt was part bull terrier.
I asked if that meant they were selling beer. Everyone looked at me like I was an idiot.

Every day now i seem to see more stories about how precarious current gas supplies are. fuel prices are already out of control and now we may face major shortages not only of gas but of food and critical supplies...
How do you keep on going when the world is on fire???
i know some folks say to turn off news but i can't just stick my head in the sand with disaster all around me...
Rereading "Starfighters of Adumar" yet again; i love the action and the dynamics between Red Flight. so much of it remains embedded in my brain.
But I really don't care for how the Wedge & Iella relationship kicks off.
they're a good couple but the actual genesis of their hookup is Wedge going "I'm gonna force a kiss on you now but you can kick me in the balls if you don't actually want it" never sat right with me...
if i went out for a drive just until gas ran out, how long would it take?
if i went on a cruise but chose to just jump off the boat one night, who would notice?
Gas is $5 a gallon now and supposed to go up even more.
grocery prices are sky high and supposed to get worse. estimates say we may have major shortages by summer...
There are already some nights i don't eat. my shelves and freezer are stocked but i'm too afraid i might not get food again.
How is this supposed to be sustainable?! How do you keep going when the world just keeps getting worse...
If others are annoyed and irritated by my actions then no one will care enough to mourn when i finally give up and die...
