I just found out through the Flock Hopper site that a group of concerned citizens working to end the use of AI-powered Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) in Saint Paul, Minnesota and to protect our community’s privacy, have created this site.
There is a form you can fill out that gets sent to city council if also want these cameras taken down

I apologize in advance if my searching through previous posts missed this, but I am wondering what people generally charge to frame and patch a wall where an old in wall air conditioner was. I am in the twin cities and just got a quote for about $5k. I'm thinking this was a "we don't want the job" kinda quote, but I wanted to ask the sub. I'm currently waiting on a couple other places to quote the job.
Some people have told me over the phone they'll do it for their company minimum, but that doesn't include framing it out.

Had a super frustrating experience today with Home Depot. I had a last minute project at home pop up and I needed a saw. I went online to see what my local HD's had in stock and I landed on this. I placed my order online for this saw, an angle grinder and used PayPal pay in 4 because I'm pretty broke at the moment. I then got in the car and drove over to pick it up. When I got there, a new person had canceled my order because he said he couldn't find them (the store confirmed they had 31 in stock). So they pushed a refund back to PayPal, however, it still as of writing this, has not been reflected in my PayPal. So they said I would have to repurchase it, which was a huge issue. I asked for the manager because I really needed a solution. I had to wait for about 20 minutes for a manager to come because of how busy it was today. When they finally showed up, I explained what was happening on my end and that I couldn't repurchase it because I didn't have the funds available to do so. After some back and forth, I was able to convince them sell me the saw for $100 due to the inconvenience and that I didn't have more than that. Super grateful that the manager made this happen and allowed me to get my project done.
TL;DR - Home Depot employee was lazy and canceled my order for pickup. Manager made it right and let me walk out the door with this saw for $100. Happy Memorial Day!
