i thought we were organized until we had to help a family member on short notice
we had a situation recently where a family member needed help quickly and what slowed everything down wasn’t a lack of information, it was how scattered the context was. different accounts, paperwork in different places, notes that only made sense to the person managing them. nobody knew what was current or what actually mattered. it made me realize stressful situations get exponentially harder when another person has to interpret everything in real time. what do people do to make households easier to navigate under pressure?
