I was considering buying the first two games on steam cause the collection is pretty cheap, but the gameplay seems to have aged very poorly (just looking at the trailers) and the story seems like a cool but still very simple story targeted at kids.

I know these games are legendary and have an insane cult following and apparently dark souls level lore,

but are they fun and engaging for an adult who never played them before?

Are the story and the gameplay good, or at least decent enough for today's standards?

Marathon hasn't breached top 100 sellers for weeks. And more often than not its deep in the 200s (and sometimes in the 300s)

it's not lack of content, it's how absolutely fucking horrendous it looks at some times/some places because of the horrible way ray tracing was implemented,

of course most of the problems are fixable if you just play at 25 fps with ray reconstruction but that's not really a fix

the people saying "looks good to me" remind me of Marathon players who say "well I always have short queue times" when their game is losing 40% of it's playerbase every week and people complain and ask for things to change

I admit. 75 million euros is a lot of money (it could fund 1/4 of a Maraslop)

But after today's world cup performance i am more and more convinced that he will fit the Serie A really well.

In a league where defenses are very tight and goal scoring opportunities tend to be few, a technical attacker with such lethal headers can be a game changer.
