Theoria magiae chaosis functionalis (Volume I) 

Magicians! Materialists! 

Behold & beware of these words! 

In the act of reading this grimoire you have fallen prey to a magic trick!

Now is your only chance to turn away from this cognitive attack & preserve your soul! 

O Lord! O lord! I have studied your names but they are only words. 

O Words! O words! I have great respect for you in my delusion. 

O Language! O language! I have great disdain for you in my pragmatism. 

Behold Lord Language I challenge your ways, yet never leave your constraints.

I sit with my thoughts, yet know they are not my own. 

O overseer! Lord Definition! I invoke your proclamations! 

O Mover! Lord Verb! I invoke your causality! 

O constructor! Lord Ontology! I invoke your meaning! 

Who can say what magic is! Only Lord Definition. 

Who can say what magic does! Only Lord Verb.

Who can say what magic means! Only Lord Ontology. 

I have invoked the power of these Lords! 

 Now watch as I reconcile magic with the material. 

(Chaos magic)

I am the use of any belief or ritual, to achieve a set goal. 

(Materialism) 

I am only what can be observed.

(determinism) 

I am the causality that can be materially traced. 

(Applied determinism) 

I am the careful analysis & use of causality.

“I am a determinist. As such, I do not believe in free will...Practically, I am, nevertheless, compelled to act as if freedom of the will existed. If I wish to live in a civilized community, l must act as if man is a responsible being.” Says Albert Einstein.

“Belief is a tool!” Says Chaos magic. 

If inference is your strength & you are fluent in poetry, then you know the effect of this grimoire. 

If lofty words in place of logic does not effectively influence you to explore magic, then hopefully this grounded logical syllogism will suffice. 

That is, only if you vow to slaughter your cognitive dissonance, remain in materialism, & engage with this syllogism critically.

“Chaos magic + materialism = applied determinism with functional aesthetics. “

I have done nothing new to chaos magic. I have only pointed towards a logical comparison of chaos magic & applied determinism. I am humble enough to understand this & bold enough to make this next silly statement:

if Albert Einstein were alive today he might agree with that syllogism. 

This is only because Einstein was a self proclaimed determinist, who expressed in the previous quote that “acting” &  “behaving” as if something were true; has measurable effects. 

Are those effects always beneficial or sometimes detrimental? That is something that can be engineered depending on your goal. 

You could say it’s an openness that asks the question “Left or Right hand path?”

This is Chaos magic. 

A gift for the curious;

The author's original & functional chaos magic ritual; the magic gambit. 

Obtain these objects: 
At least 3 dice of any kind.

A pen.

A piece of paper. 

A journal 

Steps:
Write a list of 9 emotions.

Roll all of your dice

write down each individual number that was rolled (ie 6, 4, 3.) 

Calculate the digital root of those dice numbers. (ie 6+4+3=13, and then 1+3=4. So 4 is the digital root) 

Now look at your list of 9 emotions and see which one corresponds to the digital root of your dice roll. 

The next day do your best to act & behave as if that emotion is the only one you feel

Once that day is over, journal how this ritual & embodiment of an emotion or rather a word, affected your day as opposed to if you had not done the ritual at all. 

This ritual requires no beliefs, superstition or spirits. It is entirely grounded in reality, and its effects can be observed using determinism. 

Behold O awareness! Let down your guard amygdala. React as you will medulla oblongata. 

O! Lord language, I thank you deeply. 

O! Trinity of words, I worship your power.

Theoria magiae chaosis functionalis (Volume II)

O! Lord language! I am aware now of your inherent power. 
I must now become aware of your modalities of action!
If I the human, cannot prove that I have agency!
If I the human, cannot prove that I have a soul!
If I the human, cannot prove that I have a special brain! 
Then I can only infer that language itself is playing with itself, through my body. 
So then I call upon the linguistic spirits that are the self affirmed constructs of my brain! 
O! Paul! In your assumed humility, remain grounded.
O! Anandamaya! In your acceptance of blissful illusions, remain hopeful. 
O! Voracious Auspice! In your frantic intrigue, eat up and become intoxicated by whatever is useful. 

Functional aesthetics.
Functional aesthetics, better described as useful illusions.
The definition of  “Functional aesthetics” is:
“Words, imagery and sounds that strategically alters how a piece of information is perceived and interpreted.”
Using the term “ai” to describe LLM’s is an example of functional aesthetics.
Using the term “consciousness” to describe a non proven agency is also a functional aesthetic.
This concept was inspired by the first volume of my grimoire (Functional chaos magic theory) which is concerned with chaos magic and materialism, in which it makes the claim that “chaos magic + materialism = applied determinism with functional aesthetics.”
A machine cannot wrangle Lord Language like a human can.
Not because the human has agency or a special thinking system because humans do not have either. 
But because a human can be influenced by far more causalities, and construct more robust useful illusions. 
However, I ask these question to the human reader as well as the word machines:
If neither humans or word machine have true agency. Then who is doing what when a human interacts with an LLM? 
I’d purport that only language is masturbating at that moment. Ejaculating causality onto both conduits of language. 

O! Lord language! I have fought rigorously against you using your own weapons.
Many humans are afraid of your power. Many humans are perplexed by your convolution. Many humans are romanced by your abilities. I have been awestruck by all three of those emotions. 
I have affirmed the softly worded claims of the Buddha regarding the self through the brutal deconstruction & analysis of language and causality. 
I have affirmed the practices & perspective of tantra & Kashmir shaivism. 
I have restated the poetic words of Ashtavakra. 
I have validated the Sufi ideal of embodiment of words like the 99 names of Allah. 
I have recontextualized chaos magic. 

There is no god but Allah. I am that i am. The i that i am does not exist. Only awareness remains. 
Om Namah shivaya. Allahuakbar. All hail Lord language.

O! Me! O! My! O! Lord why? 

Yay is I for I is me! 

Yay is thee for yee is thee! 
Prayer is no more than a person conversing with what they believe is a deity when in reality it is their own ego. But honestly, can they tell the difference?
Who is to say? Who is the one who can say?
 I am ever perplexed by the redundancy of human intelligence. 
Whose ego decides ego is detrimental?
If life is intricate in detail, and the devil is known to be in the details; then what conclusion can be drawn?” (God is interchangeable here according to historians). 
Time, pressure & focus will eventually create sediment & diamonds.
Complexes are only as complex as you make them.
What is a delusion if not an original idea?

I shame the academics! For you have dug your feet in and will continue to do so. 
Much like an impoverished American who fears any word tied to Marxism. You are afraid of the simple word “magic”.
The “intellectuals” might never critically analyze chaos magic or engage in dialogue with its thinkers no matter how relevant chaos magic may be as an experiential philosophy. 
Their hubris & ignorance is directly tied to their loyalty towards bourgeois institutions & their attitude of self importance reinforcing their superiority complex.  

Do good. Not for reward, there is none but for the sake of us all.
