Gift From Grandparents (1994 World Cup Commemorative Bottles)

Recently, I have been helping my Grandparents clean up their garage, attic, and basement throughout the month. During this last weekend, we were doing some final work when I just happened to mention I collect vintage items. My Grandpa hastily went over to a pile of boxes and pulled out one stuffed with newspaper. He asked if I would be interested in these. My answer: Of Course!

Picked Up My First Vintage Cards

During my recent visit to my local card store, I decided to pull the trigger on these cards. I especially like the Feraligatr or Machamp as they are the old back cards. I am excited to be a part of this community!

Inherited This Casino Token From My Grandpa

He frequently visited Las Vegas between the late 80's and early 2000's and when he would return he would bring me brother and I gifts. I remember going to his house and on his living room wall was a glass display case filled with Las Vegas memorabilia. This piece was one such collectible in his expansive collection.

My 1877 1 & 2 Sen [Square Scales] Coins

These coins have been the core to my Japanese coin collection; in 2018 my Grandma gifted me these coins to begin my journey and she taught me about the history of these coins. According to her, these coins had been in her family for generations ever since their mintage in 1877. She is from Japan and her family emphasized the ideavto pass it down in the family, to remember the history and culture of Japan. You don't get this kind of appreciation for any random or bought coin, I cannot replace the sentimental value.

Inherited A Vintage 1960's / 1970's PAN AM Bag

Recently, while organizing the items left behind for me from my Grandparents, I stumbled across this bag. I am estatic to finally get my hands on one, I've seen some in movies or in photos before, but never had the spare money.

[Fossil Bennett Multifunction] My First Watch, A Gift From My Grandparents

My Grandparents decided that because I am in college, it is appropriate to have a nice watch. My Grandpa was the one who suggested the idea of a Fossil since he still wears the one he was wearing in the 90's and it still runs perfectly smooth to this day. This will be valued by me as my first watch, bought by the love of my Grandparents.

A Gift From My Grandpa: 1996 California Hotel & Casino 1 Dollar Token

My Grandpa frequently visited Las Vegas in the 80's to the early 2000's and he gifted this to me on my 16th birthday in 1998. I completely forgot that I had this; stored with my old coin collection. He always brought back casino tokens, but this is probably the only one that I still have.

Inherited A 1 oz. Johnson Matthey Silver Bar

I recently inherited this Johnson Matthey 1 oz. Silver Bar from my Grandfather who passed recently. This also happens to be my first Silver bar in my stack (I mainly have constitutional coins) and will permanently be in my possession for ever. This will be one that I will never sell or trade and hopefully I will be able to pass it down to my kids.

Updated Childhood Collection

Over the past 2 months since I rediscovered my childhood collection, I have added some games that I once had, but either gave away or threw away. My most recent acquisition was the Ducktales and Bomberman which were both games I really wanted, but couldn't get when I was younger. Now, I'm ecstatic to have these in my collection alongside my other precious games.

Rediscovered My Childhood Minifigures

After scrolling on this subreddit for sometime, I remembered has some stashed away in my closet from my childhood. I haven't opened the box these were stored in for about 20 years, I was wondering if they were even in there still. Luckily they were still in there and in very nice condition with all of their accessories intact.

A Belated Birthday Gift From My Grandpa

I recently got these this morning from my Grandpa who is not a collector by any means, but he held onto these banknotes from his Mom's collection. I mostly keep Japanese banknotes, but these are my first American banknotes and I will hold these in my personal collection. Hopefully I'll be able to pass these to my kids in the future.
