Ive always loved wolverine, the animated and film adaptations and now im excited for the game. But ive never gotten into the comics for some reason. What do you recommend for a new reader and are there any i should stay away from?

I know i made a post today about the crushes I have but I wanna see what everyone else thinks about Yautjas.
The old one was so much better, the new one is so bland and corporate. Its too bad we dont have Stoney in the UK because thats gone back to being my favorite looking ginger beer can.
I love the shovel as a weapon in media: Farcry, TF2, Mystery Men you name it. But the shovels i currently have are too short for keeping anything away. Do you have any recommendations for a longer one?
Edit: i have both versions of the cold steel shovel and a ww2 M1910 shovel.
Im aware its common in alot of animal species especially in primates. But how would the small population size of Neanderthals have effected the amount of same sex relationships?
I lump these two together because they are very similar in their world building and plot. Both are set a while after nuclear war and both have themes of religion and how modern stories can be woven into the beliefs of the characters inhabiting those worlds even after multiple generations.
Both books have wildly different writing styles to wone another. Riddley Walker is a bit difficult to understand at first but once you get the basics out the way its a fun read seeing how the English language has regressed but also in other ways evolved in Post apocalyptic Kent.
While I havent seen the ways Riddley Walker has influenced scifi media I am aware that A Cantical for Leibowitz has left its mark on the world by helping to inspire Fallout and the Brotherhood of Steel faction in the games.
What do you think of both books and do you think they deserve to be highly rated in the apocalypse books space?
I just finished The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook and I really enjoyed it and I dont want to get burnt out with it before I can finish the series. I love the Metro series, Red Rising series, the Bobiverse, anything by the Strugatsky Brothers and Asimov so im willing to give anything a go.
If you have any good standalone scifi books that you recommend please let me know.

My bad I mixed up theory and hypothesis in my head. Im an idiot.
For me its definitely the aquatic ape hypothesis. I know its quite popular in some circles but I believe that we went from tree dwelling to ground dwelling and stayed that way. The ideas like why babies hold their breath and why we started to lose our hair density have more than reasonable answers and i just dont see any credibility in the hypothesis.
If you do believe in this hypothesis all the power to you. I just dont think its true.
