How do you remember moves?

Been learning for a year as a lead and I'm admittedly a slower learner than most. One problem I have is that I just keep forgetting moves. I'll learn some and do pretty well with them at socials, but then newer ones I learn make me forget the older ones. I feel like at best I only remember 10 moves, with newer moves constantly pushing out older ones.

I know the answer is probably practice but I feel like it's more of a bandwidth problem? I either practice the latest moves I learn and remember them, or the oldest ones, but I'll forget whichever ones I don't practice

Does anybody feel relief putting their hands in hot running water?

I don't know why but I developed this habit when my symptoms first started several years ago before I even knew what was going on, I just run some hot water and find myself keeping my hands in it for as long as I can, sometimes 10 minutes. Seems to just provide some sort of relief and reduce dizziness. Not sure if this is a real thing or just placebo

5 seater manual that's engaging to drive, any better than a Chevy SS? Under 50K

Need something to haul friends but don't want to be bored. Considering Chevy SS 6MT but curious to know if there's anything better out there

I still think about that time I drove a Camaro SS 1LE. What a car

For ref I own an ND Miata manual, 981 Cayman S PDK, Ferrari 360 spider manual. Track/drive them all hard regularly.

Almost two years ago I rented a Camaro SS1LE for a week and that experience has been seared into my brain ever since. I wrote about the experience here. When it's late at night and I'm tossing and turning, the thought of that drive keeps creeping back into my mind. The way the chassis feels and communicates into a turn, coupled with the insane levels of grip, incredible steering feel, and the custom wide open exhaust it had is nothing like I've experienced since. The engine is every bit as special as my flat 6 or V8. It's a paradox and total mindfuck - big American 4 seater front engine muscle shouldn't be able to physically behave the way this thing did.

I still stop and stare every time I see one. The only reason I don't own one is because my 360 fell into my lap as a fun project and I don't even have space for any more cars, but if I somehow end up driving another 1LE I can see myself very quickly selling one of my cars to make room for it. Consider yourselves lucky if you own one! It's one hell of a ride.

Disappointed with Boring Hybrid, what to try next?

Have had my Boring Hybrid mattress for 6 weeks now and I'm pretty disappointed. 170lb 5'10 male side sleeper with muscle and low back pain. Have tried around 4 hybrid mattresses and the Boring Hybrid, while I have had some of the best sleep I've had in a while in it, has some major downsides

- Sleeps really hot, hotter than the last 2 hybrids I tried and hotter than the latex hybrid I tried

- Waking up with low back pain most days. It's a 6/10 plush which is great for my shoulders and knees but I need more low back support

- Edge support isn't great. I sink significantly sitting on the edge

I'm so tired and was hoping the boring was the end all be all solution. Looking into Costco now, any comparable mattresses? Budget under $1500 for a king

New steering wheel for my 360. My favourite mod to date, unsurprisingly

320mm Momo Montecarlo. Really, really dials in the car for me. Stock wheel is just too big for the car IMO, fine if you're cruising around Boomerville I guess. The new hub also somehow eliminates some slop the stock wheel had at center. Smaller and more rigid surface area also means way more road feedback (front end is still a bit numb on 360s but this helps). Leather isn't as high quality as stock but not a dealbreaker for me. I'm throwing this thing around like my Miata now

I also went 330 on my ND and it transformed the car for me, no surprise it had a similar effect here.

Confused by the new algorithm for how profile is pushed to users

Cis 30yo male here with majestic. A year+ ago whenever I made an account I would get likes/matches instantly.

Now it seems like every time I make an account, crickets. No likes or matches even with Uplift. But then without fail 1-2 weeks later there is a 24-48 hour burst of 20+ likes/matches. And then things go quiet again, seems to repeat every couple of weeks. Really don't understand what I'm supposed to make of this and makes me not want to use the app

Any cafes along highway 1 I can do some work at?

Want to drive up to the coast from San Francisco early morning and stop along the way to do some work. Any cool local cafes I can pop into along the way? Open to driving as far as Point Reyes but ideally closer

Conflicted about what to do about my gated 360. 3x'd in value seemingly overnight and I've only just bought it. Would you keep it? See description inside

I know the overwhelming consensus is to just "keep it and drive it" but want to gather thoughts. Bought it for $90k as a bit of a fun project thinking I could drive it a few thousand and sell it at market 130-150 a year or two later and not lose much if any money.

Lo and behold the week I finish working on it 6 months after purchase, values start exploding - similar mile less desirable spec just sold for 300k+ on BaT. I'm getting private offers for $210k+ for it.

I don't really need the money if I sell it but:

- it makes up a substantial portion of my net worth at 200-300k (15%+) with high running costs (6k/year) and I'm in prime compounding years

- not really sure if I love the car just yet, I've only driven about 200 fun miles/6 fun hours total after sorting it out. Definitely has its pros but I find myself still wanting to drive my ND Miata more when I want a fun drive. So far the 360 seems like a special time capsule rather than better at any one thing compared to my other cars (ND more fun, 981 more performant and borderline just as good exhaust note)

When I think about why I'd keep it:

- Very unique drive compared to my 981 and ND
- Extremely good looking, I go to my garage just to stare at it at night
- The smell...seriously the leather is intoxicating

Thoughts?

Bay Area owners, which mechanic do you take your car to?

My ND2 has a few problems popping up and I want to find somebody who actually knows their shit about Miatas, here in the Bay Area. Any mechanic recommendations?

27 [M4F] #SanFrancisco - Bearded and athletic, new to the city and looking for a FWB with a breeding kink

Hi there, thought I'd try this instead of dating apps which we're all tired of. I'm 27, athletic, confident, and often told I'm attractive. I recently moved back to SF and I'm looking for a FWB I can connect with both in and out of bed. I have my own place and am sane (lol)

In bed I'm on the dominant side and pretty kinky. Giving head is my absolute favorite. I also have a big breeding kink so it'd be awesome if you did too; I test regularly

Outside of bed, I love to be outdoors, whether it's backpacking, picnics at Dolores, or stargazing at the beach. I also love to cook and bake for all my friends so perhaps you can be my sous chef, expect your tastebuds to be spoiled :)

If any of this interests you, shoot me a message!

ND owners, do you feel vibration in the seat at idle?

I feel my seat and cabin vibrating (e.g. when I touch or rest my elbow on the door) when stopped at idle pretty non trivially. Don't remember it feeling like this but I could be wrong. The vibrations coupled with some thuds I feel on shift and the MT shifting slower than usual makes me think I've blown a mount of some sort. Thoughts?
