Trying to find pasta fresh made in house
I don’t want it from a box or premade. I want like fresh dough shaped and cut then boiled in house pasta.
Bonus points if it comes with mussels in it.
Does this exist here?

American here and I feel like the average American between coffee, water, etc. probably averages a solid one gallon (almost 4 liters) per day total.
I go to Europe a lot and it seems like 4-8 oz in the morning with a coffee, maybe a tea or water with lunch only 7-8 oz, then maybe again at like 3pm, then with dinner, maybeeee again later. So like maybe a liter a day. That seems accuracy and so woefully low. It seems so odd to me.
Am I wrong? How much y’all drinking? And I purposely say liquid because I know you ain’t American girlies drinking from their 40 oz Stanley mugs.
I’m on the quiet car on the train and everyone and I mean everyone is listening to music on their phones, using speakerphone, on FaceTime, standing in the aisle.
Walking around and there is trash everywhere.
Seems like a city where no one cares about others and no one cares about how they act
The workers here say it’s just the computer system showing that on the screen but that trains are running. I haven’t seen a train.
1.) Given this is a European nation, am I correct to assume bars will absolutely be open until 5:00 AM to show this game?
2.) Assuming I’m an American, but not a fucking loudmouth idiot, and assuming I just cheer along with you for Belgium to win, will I still likely get my ass kicked and be shit talked to for being an American at a bar in Belgium at 2:00-5:00 AM?
Another 4, probably 8 years, of high tier tax and spend 😭😭
Purple Moose has always struck me as a super dated hidden windows trashy spot with biker bar vibes cosplaying as “no really we just like classic rock we swear” like a place that personified an old man shouting at the sky.
However, I’ve been there the last couple nights and they’re playing pop, hip hop, EDM, upbeat rock. It’s a fuckin vibe. People dancing, actual good drinks flowing, what the fuck happened?
Is this new that the purple moose seems like an actual cool place rather than some old shitty trashy place for Gen X fucks?
Can’t tell if I’m being unreasonable or irrational, but I thought the unwritten rule was that if you’re gonna sit during a set 1) Be beyond the main crowd and 2) ideally, be on the opposite side stage.
During pretty much every set, most oddly the Coheed set, people were just sitting only 10-20 rows of people back from the front. Very much in the thick of the main crowd.
I understand it was hot and I even thought it may have been medical, but I looked closer and no, they’re just chillin there.
Am I just acting like a boomer thinking it was kinda rude and messed with the vibe?
Obviously this was an idiot who never ventured past the national mall
Why are the food trucks on the mall absolute shit? They’re just random shit food rather that independent owners making quality food. Why?
Why are cities all Democrat led?
So you can see in the demo pics where the vent is. They put in counter and cabinets and they were supposed to block it off and reroute it. They did neither. Shocker, they won’t pick up the phone now.
Calling that a loss, whatever. So now I have to somehow reroute the existing vent or block it and make a new one.
Seeking ideas
Literally the exact same full turbo replacement. Didn’t tell Hoons I had a prior quote either because I wanted to see if I even needed a turbo at all to be sure.
Turns out I do need a new turbo. Hoons said it’s $900-1000 for the parts, $600-700 for labor. Got it today, $1590.
Fuck Roda.
Why is there this endless “can’t find a place under $500/night” when it’s entirely untrue. Are people just that bad at using Hotels.com or Booking?
You can literally just sort by rating to ensure you don’t stay somewhere gross, then by location to ensure you’re where you wanna be (close to the ocean, bayside, boardwalk, etc.), then of course by price.
For kicks I just did June 13-20th which is Saturday to Saturday including weekend rates. Here’s the average nightly rate of a few that are all in OC proper and less than 50 yards from the beach:
Sahara Motel - 7.6 rating - $137/night
Dunes Court - 8.4 - $154/night
Thunderbird Beach - 8.6 - $137/night
Crystal Sands - 9.2 - $183/night
There are many more.
Why are people so absurdly bad at this? Took me under 10 minutes to make this post, including finding spots.
Trying to plan and understand who is playing when. When is this revealed if at all?
Okay here as a tourist, but I def know and love my chai. Here’s my ranking worst to best. Tell me why I’m wrong and if I should re-try any, or if I missed a great spot. For consistency, I used whole milk and it was iced for every one.
Banksia - Love them. The Australian Meat Pies were amazing. Such a cool spot. But the chai? No depth, just thin. Lacked flavor.
Made in KC - It was good, just a little average.
Roasted - I’m pretty confident they use powdered chai based on the viscosity, but I have to say it was really tasty. But I can’t rank them higher than this.
PH Coffee - Not to be confused with PT. It was solid, just a bit too sweet to crack the top half I tried.
Rochester Brewing - By far the best service and they were so nice. However, this is about chai and it was very good but not as good as the top 3.
Messenger - Really flavorful, great balance of sweetness, creaminess, it was wonderful.
Broadway Cafe - So tight of a race for #1 and I COULD make the argument. When I got it, it was barely tinted brown and I thought it was gonna be milky and flavorless, but I had faith in past reviews and WOW flavorful as hell. The cardamom pop was so obvious and amazing. Genuinely great. 1 & 2 are absolutely just in another tier all by themselves.
Cafe Corazon - I kinda hated the service (messed up a different drink I got on another day and blamed me for it) and the AC was weak on a hot day. However, it’s all about the chai. It was undeniably great. It was soooo deep in flavor while not being overly sweet. It had this odd bitter smoothness that was great. I had another on another day to confirm that it was that great. Yep, it’s the best.
Okay now go poke holes in this list! Tell me where else to try before I leave KC!
Not just “what’s your favorite restaurant” I mean what is the best thing to get. Ex: “The Chai at PH coffee” or “the onion straws at Q39” or “the Xyz burger at XYZ restaurant”
