Saw a post talking about Superman Returns turning 29. At least the Snyder and Gunn versions have passionate fans. SR feels like it doesn’t exist and disappeared into the ether.

Is Man of Tomorrow really guaranteed to increase from the first?

Many online are saying that at least MoT will increase over the first due to how beloved the first film was, but is this guaranteed? The first film had some novelty factor and I see none reason why international audiences would suddenly care. There are also examples of sequels decreasing even when the first film was liked .

It’s insane that Supergirl is going to be biggest box office bombs of all time just one year after Superman was said to have revitalized the brand.

By comparison, Wonder Woman made over 820 million just one year after many felt and said BvS had destroyed or massively crippled the DC brand.
