Considering Mega Diancie is a top tier Rock attacker, it's worth using the Gold Cap on her. But how will I get the XL needed to power her up??

I got a glimpse into what it's like trying to date men.

So I got a Like on Hinge, from a woman who immediately complimented me and started pouring on the flirty messages.

I figured she was a Bot, so I asked a unique question: If you had to create a captcha to prove someone was real, what would you make?

Usually bots or scammers reply with "lol I dunno ur cute btw"

But she gave a genuine answer. I was surprised, but a little skeptical. We talked for days and she was the real deal, even gave me her number. I felt like I struck gold with how forward she was.

She even invited me to her house. For safety's sake, I shared the address with my friends, but I went over. Then about an hour into it, she said she wasn't feeling the vibes, and said she had to go to sleep.

I was floored. I'm used to rejection, but like, there are hints beforehand. She seemed 100% into me and was sending pics and dropping sexual hints and flirting and asking about my day, telling me about her past tragedies, etc. etc. Everything was going perfect.

Then just... "I don't feel the vibes."

It felt like I hit a brick wall.

And then I thought of the women who deal with men who compliment them and probably made them feel like they were on top of the world, only to be easily discarded and left like nothing had happened.

[edit]

Also, though it's been one day, she hasn't responded to my texts, despite saying she wanted to be friends.

Are you kidding me?? I find out this thing can evolve and it just turns into a slightly bigger version of itself?? This is worse than Dugtrio, Magneton, and Seel!

I cannot figure out how to build this HON Convergence...

I tried looking up a video on YouTube and the first step was sliding the arms in and locking it using the lever lock, but even though I slid the arm in, the lever lock won't lock.

Also, I can't figure out the drawing instructions. Is he turning the +/- cylinder or pulling on it? And how is he sliding out that entire mechanism in A and B? Mine won't budge.

I think I got the wrong instructions...

Which one is worth powering up?

I only have enough candy to power up one to Lvl. 43ish.

I know Blacephon will be in Raids in a few weeks, but I expect to only get enough candy to get him to around Lvl. 48.

My beloved Toons now has broken support. Be still my heart. So which card(s), if any, do you think will be Banned or Limited?

I think Toon World, the Perfect World would be banned, and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon limited to 2.

I know it's been done before, but here is my spin on it! (OC)

It seems that Thief King Bakura was just a traumatized young boy who Zorc possessed at some point and used as a pawn until his resurrection. It's unknown whether Bakura got the title "Thief King" himself or after Zorc possessed him via the Millennium Ring.

I think, due to his hatred of the Pharaoh, Bakura developed a strong and evil spirit monster known as Diabound. With it, he became the Thief King. He had no knowledge of Zorc and probably stole the Millennium Ring just to get back at the Pharaoh. But unlucky for him, the Ring had a piece of Zorc in it, as is the Ring's unique ability.

Once Bakura was possessed, he was never himself again until moments before Zorc's resurrection, when he was killed once his usefulness ran out.

What are the requirements to bartend for a food truck in Baltimore County?

A friend of mine asked me to assist him with his food truck, and I brought up the idea of me also bartending for him.

Everytime I try to look up requirements, it redirects me elsewhere. And on this page, it says One-Day Liquor Licenses are only for non-profits: https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/liquor-board/one-day-license

So I'm wondering what I'm missing as far as acquiring the proper permits and licenses for my friend and I to run a food truck that also sells alcohol (at certain events, not a license to sell alcohol year-round).

Thanks in advance!

What do you think Atem and Yugi's final hands were?

  • Yugi:
    • Life Shaver - To be combined with "Turn Jump" to force Atem to discard and weaken Slifer.
    • Sangan - Sacrifice to pull weak, but effective monsters, like Marshmallon, the Gadget soldiers, his Silent Magician or Swordsman, etc.
    • De-Fusion - To stop any attacks from Chimera or Gaia the Dragon Champion if Atem were to take his Curse of Dragon with Brain Control. Last resort, stopping Atem from fusing his LP with Ra. Also symbolism as Yugi is forcing the separation of himself and Atem.
    • Marshmallon Glasses - Pair with Marshmallon.
    • Magical Hats - Stall to have his monsters level up.
    • Maiku the Magical Mist - Pair with Summoned Skull.
    • Soul Release - More symbolism. Also prevents Atem from reviving monsters to be tribute fodder for the Gods. Or reviving Dark Magician should he be destroyed.
  • Atem
    • Sage's Stone - Pair with Dark Magician.
    • Dark Renewal - Revive Dark Magician.
    • Disgraceful Charity - Ploy to retrieve discarded cards to increase Slifer's ATK, and/or get more cards to provide tribute fodder for the Gods.
    • Diffusion Wave Motion - Pair with Dark Magician.

Ultimately, I think Atem lost because he couldn't predict Yugi's moves, while Yugi had a pretty good idea of what Atem would play and how and when. So I hypothesize that Atem's dead cards were mostly Dark Magician support, while Yugi's final hand were additional strategy cards including both defensive and offensive capabilities.

Writing about the physical healing after years of SA. I need feedback:

So I'm writing a Rhysand POV fic. Right now, I'm in the Summer Court, and I'm trying to come up with a reason as to how Rhys "forgot" his magic and focused so hard on his Illyrian training.

Well, part of it is he is trying to reclaim his body. He is a victim of sexuαl assault, and it lasted for 50 years. I am not a survivor of such evil acts, so there is only so much I can accurately portray.

You don't have to give me the details of what you went through, but rather, I am looking for feedback on my first draft to see if I characterized it well:

*Every morning, Rhys would awaken before anybody else, and make his way to the grand beaches of Adriata. It was hardly suspicious, as he would arrive by boat, and emerge shirtless and wielding a wooden sword to engage in the morning routines Cassian had impressed upon him.

As he swung his mock blade with the ease of an Illyrian on a battlefield, he lamented how he was forced to do homework assigned by his Brother of all people...

Controlling his breathing, managing his footwork, and feeling in tune with his body as the sun rose, there had always been a chorus of Fae watching from afar. Entirely too timid to approach him, he was more or less completely alone as he did what he could to retain autonomy of his body.

Ever since he'd offered his body to Amarantha to do as she pleased, he had never felt right again. Time and time again, he convinced himself it was for the greater good, and that the ends justified the means. It was the same old argument he'd clung to to attempt to justify the many atrocities he'd ever committed, or allowed to happen Under the Mountain. And then, it happened. Feyre's heart beat Amarantha at her own game, and they were freed.

But his body beheld the invisible scars.

It didn't matter how much he pushed himself, tried to find his center, or sparred with his Brothers; he still felt as though his body was not his own.

Not this... dirty thing. This spoiled piece of meat that Amarantha had abused and taken advantage of for years. How could it be? He was far too proud to be reduced to such a sad state...

He couldn't be this. He didn't wish to be the Whore. He hated the very thought that his time spent Under the Mountain was indeed real, and not one of the many nightmares he'd been subjected to.

The worst were the nights where his body had responded to her touch in kind. He told himself it was natural, just his biology, but he never felt more ashamed and dirty than when she'd force him to orgasm. His body had betrayed him time and time again, until it was no longer his. What was once the beautiful act of sex had been so utterly tainted.

He was no stranger to serving his partners in bed from a submissive angle. He had pride in his versatile nature, and females galore would profess their undying devotion to him after he'd worshipped their bodies in his bed. He was glad to do it; he loved pushing others to their limits and encouraging them to go even further.

And Amarantha took that away from him.

He viciously stabbed the sand with his sword, shattering it in the process. With a scowl, he picked up the pieces and discarded them in a nearby trash recepticle. The Summer Court's beaches were pristine, and he caught sight of the first round of laborers who would see to it.

Though his wings were absent, he honed his Illyrian abilities. That was something she couldn't take away.

He went for a run, determined to once more be in tune with his body. To no longer feel the sting of her touch in his very bones.

His run led him to the Adriata Grand Library.*

Has anyone worked or, or at, Gunther & Co.?

I'm considering applying, and am coming from a fine(ish) and elevated dining background.

I'm currently at Antrim 1844 and it's great, but the hours are too short so I'm not making good money.

If anyone has any experience with Gunther & Co., please let me know!

Also posting here instead of r/baltimore because I was banned from there lol

My manager told me, "You don't need a decanter, unless the cork breaks. Guests just like the optics of one. You could decant in a plastic cup. Just the act of pouring oxygenates a wine. And those special U-shaped or Swirled Decanters are just marketing gimmicks. I'm not spending $600 on one."

Is he right? For so long, I've been told you decant young, bold wines to pull out their secondary (oak) flavors, and old wines to reduce sediment.

He also told me Americans over sanitize surfaces, and it's not like you're cutting raw meat on these white cloth covered tables.

I don't get this scene.

Why does the husband believing House and the wife not believing House mean the husband specifically was cheating?

She's innocent, but if she believes that a toilet seat can give you herpes, then she would likely believe that over her husband cheating. It's not like she WANTS her husband to be a cheater.
