I have a roofer but they won’t repair other parts of the house. My gutter system has been poor for a while and needs some new gutters installed and reroute rain water away from one part of patio roof. Because the rain has come down on one place it tore a big chuck of my soffit off my patio in the recent storm, so basically need both soffits and gutters replaced and added to. 120+ year old house.

Anyone know of anyone? Does not have to be licensed as long as has references (you could be one). Bonus if they can reform concrete steps too.

Hello! I made a comment on a missed connections post but it's burried pretty deep and I'm still searching! I'm looking for the wife I was dancing at the gencon party in the train station on Saturday night. I stole some guys wife for the event and we were swing dancing to some of the songs. She said her and her husband haven’t had the time (or health) to go dancing together in years and they hadn’t done other things in months and said she’d like to do those things with me too! She was in a black tank-top and blue jeans with big curly/frizzy hair while her husband was in a light gray shirt and dark plaid shorts with black curly hair. I have been scanning all the gencon social media pages and tags for any posts but i thought this could be a good place to reach out too. Thank you!!

I realize I really like action or adventure movies where the main plot is getting from point A to point B with a lot of obstacles in the way, such as though a train, building, city, jungle, wasteland, etc. I don't mind if you get to Point B and then realize you need to go to point C or back to point A or along the way of there are one or two side quests (you need to get a person, key, unobtanium, or MacGuffin first), but don't like when it does this repeatedly in which case it becomes an obstacle course or fetch quest that takes momentum away from getting to point B. I also am not asking about "survival" movies where the point is to survive the longest time or outlast others, unless the main plot is in order to survive is to get to point B. Nor am I asking about "Revenge" movies where the goal is to get to a person or group to kill them for revenge, although I am fine with it is for "justice" and protecting people (I may see wishy-washy on this last one, I just don't want the motivation of the protagonist to be revenge by the end of the movie even though that may be the starting motivation).

Examples of movies I am not asking for similar as they are too much fetch quests, obstacle course, survival, or revenge movies (I am not saying I dislike these movies, just not what I am asking about):

• Mad Max, Beyond Thunder Dome, Furiousa
• Maze Runner and sequels
• Train to Busan, World War Z, or pretty much any movie with Zombies
• Crank
• Hunger Games and sequels/prequels
• Running Man (Schwarzenegger or Glenn Powell)
• Jumanji (OG and modern remakes/sequels) & Zathura
• Any movie by Quentin Tarantino
• John Wick movies
• Nobody movies
• Taken movies
• The Long Walk, The Road, Into the Wild, The Revenant

Exceptions to the rule - I love all the below movies that are about getting from point A to point B even though they are more about revenge or survival and are filled with sidequests, so if you find similar but are not like the above movies, feel free to recommend too I guess
