I find it funny that most filler arcs in DM and GX love using FHD as the boss monster.

I do remember as a kid, Five-Headed Dragon was what I wanted; a monster with 5000 ATK/5000 DEF AND can'tbe destroyed by most monsters?! That's sick because the anime sure thinks it's sick as well. Boy oh boy is that card not worth using in battle. The card art itself looks cool at least.

I have been stuck in Poké/Great Ball hell for months...

I swear, I hate having to play with bots everytime I lose in those tiers; almost made me quit playing because bots are just so boring to play against.

SteaMidra is amazing for abandoned games from Steam!

No longer do I have to go to some sketchy website or websites that offer like, a CD-ROM folder of a game I have to install. I can just search for the game, download and install it to Steam, and vola! Been wanting these games to come back for years, tried to find a copy online with no luck or they're way too expensive from key sellers.

I'm now Lost Planet 2 with the community patches for online play and it's awesome! Definitely recommend it for those who had been wanting an easier time searching for these delisted games!

Which of these three have the best large roster?

Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, Ultra Street Fighter IV, or Street Fighter V: Champion Edition?

Constantly Nitpicking Halo: The Video

I took the chance of watching at least one negative Halo video and this one was very recent, so I decided to take a look at why Kingerd didn't like the remake.

Fucking kill me...

The whole video is just constant nitpicking about the game not being exactly 100% faithful to the original (like voice acting, sprinting, objective markers, and missing some other unimportant stuff to goof around in) while contradicting himself at the same time by saying that there aren't enough gameplay improvements from the sequels (mainly Halo 2, 3, and Reach) in the remake. So which is it?

He made this video all because he literally got ONE-GUYED from a Twitter post. Hilarious.

They can heavily tone down RE5 for a remake, but they MUST keep this. It's too iconic.

When you think of RE5, good or bad, the boulder punching QTE is the one you would think of the most. If an RE5R does happen, they can make it more horror themed and slow the gameplay down, but they have to keep this iconic scene. It's got the same vibe as Leon slashing the Plagas from El Gigante's back with his knife.

What's with Koenma having the best drip in this series?!

They really made him look a lot cooler when he's not in his toddler form and not sucking on his pacifier. Like, look at that suit he's wearing! Absolutely an amazing design with this character!

[RE7&2R] Resident Evil 4 ruined classic Resident Evil for me.

Resident Evil 4 made me a fan of the series growing up but I only owned a Wii and never got robbed play any of the other games until recently. Back 2020, I finally got to play RE7 and was very excited to play a new RE game after finally owning a PC that can run it. I got bored with it after about 30 minutes, dropped it and moved on. Fast forward to today, I got to play RE2R after it was on sale. Didn't remember why I disliked 7 so I was looking forward to playing 2. At first, I thought I was tired to play an RE game, but after about a little over an hour, I stopped playing and was left confused.

Was wondering why I wasn't enjoying 7 and 2R so much and made me question if I liked RE in the first place. I bought a copy of 4 and started playing it, putting in almost 3 hours into it, enjoying the game a lot. And after playing it, I finally figured why I liked 4 more.

4 is a little linear game. 7 and 2R are not. 4 progresses after a wave of enemies you encounter and face off, with very little puzzle solving and backtracking. 7 and 2R requires you to complete a lot of puzzles as well as backtracking a lot through placements of envemiez that you can encounter and run away from. I will admit, I lose interest in a video game when I get lost in a game that makes you have to ground scavenger hunt items and complete a lot of puzzles before moving on, or have areas that can only be unlocked almost half an hour later.

I've chatted with a friend about this and he recommended thatnI should give RE5 and 6 a try as those for more to what I was looking for after playing 4. Ever since I have been enjoying 6 a lot as I am playing with the same friend and I have been having a blast with the game so far. I tried to give REmake and Village a try and I couldn't get into REmake at all and Village started off well until I got stuck in Castle Dimitrescu and started getting bored again before dropping it.

Unfortunately this means that classic RE doesn't really keep my interest and I know that would make se.preoole very upset over it because the series started as a survival horror franchise before being a more action horror series from 4 to 6. I got to play and complete RE3R recently and this one was very linear, short, and a blast to play. As far as I know, 3R is more action thank horror but seems, so that's probably why I like the game so much despite the missing content I have heard about.

As a fan of RE4, Remake exceeds the original for me!

I grew up with RE4 in the Wii. Got it on my Xbox and still love the game after bwing disappointed with 7 and 2 Remake. When 4 Remake was on sale, I bought that, played through it and had an amazing time with the game. I felt that the game was better paced than the original despite cutting some stuff, the story, while a little grounded, still feels silly and I orefered how it went compared to the original, the characters themselves are better for me, using the knife to carry and instakill enemies were cool, just everything about the game made me smile all the way through the game!

Maybe it's unfair to compare the two since they are different in their own way even though about 80% of it are the same, but I had a really great time with the Remake and I actually prefer it over the original! Kinda makes me wanna go through the game again because it was just so good! I'm about to finish 3 Remake and I am having a nice time with the game as well!

Seeing the Steam cover art of RE1-3 got me to create this to give it that "classic" RE look to 4.

Tried my best with this out and it seems that it came out nicely. Wanted the front cover to be an iconic creature and I believe the Chainsaw Man is the most iconic! Hope you guys like it. It kinda makes me wanna make it an actual case lol.

Can I say I am glad FromSoftware is working with Nintendo in this entry?

With how things are going with Sony, as well as their other publisher, Bandai Namco, I'm glad that FromSoftware is currently sticking with Nintendo to develop this game. These guys really have dodged the bullet with what's happening in the current gaming business. Not to say Nintendo is a great company because every corporation have their flaws, but they're the most experienced as well the least problematic compared to most other gaming companies as of recent. It doesn't matter if the game turns out to be just okay, or horrible; I just think working with a healthier business is the right move for these guys.

Overall, I am excited to see more about this game. Still very new to FromSoft games as Amored Core 6 was my very first FS game and then Dark Souls on the Switch just recently! Can't believe I had missed out these games!

Yeah, Black Ops II on Xbox is cooked.

Just jumped into the game and it's filled to the brim with hackers. Speed boosters, one-sided teams with infinitie Scorestreaks, aimbots, it's all a mess. I kept jumping into servers against players with no number for their rank or colored letters, meaning that they are hackers. Sure, the PS5 version is also starting to get hackers, but Iron Galaxy responded that they will patch those issues out very soon.

What a shame. Nobody over at Activision wants to fix the 360 version but they bother to make a PS5 port of these two games. And don't say, "Well, I have never ran into any hackers", because motherfucker, I had immediately quitted 11 lobbies so far just to find a legit one and I am STILL searching for it. At this point, I give up on trying to search.

Black Ops I doesn't have that many players online, but once you do find a match, you'll have an okay time. Just prepare for hosts disconnecting when their team or themselves keep losing.

Rebs Gaming: Leadership at Halo Studios is mismanaging the Halo franchise and mistreating employees.

The last post was taken down even though the source was linked but i have made it a direct link to the source instead of to the post that contained the source.

So far this is just a rumour

Pierre Hintze (Head of Studio) has repeatedly reported to HR for mistreating employees.

Berates development teams, causing fear of presenting work.

Dismissive response to work-life balance concerns: "I don't give a fuck."

Downplays employee questions about full-time roles or advancement.

Verbally abusive incidents, including telling one employee to "get the f*** out of the studio."

Cruel treatment of long-time friend and colleague Michael Farney (former head of production/executive producer for Campaign Evolved), leading to demotion, medical leave, and being let go during that leave.

Poor project management on Campaign Evolved (constant priority changes, lack of roadmap/planning), then blaming the team despite their efforts to salvage it.

Other Leadership Issues:

Chris Matthews (Studio Art Director): Accused of cronyism (hiring friends over qualified candidates), inappropriate comments to co-workers (HR intervention required), and other complaints.

Elizabeth Van Wick (Chief Operating Officer): Criticized for focusing on personal activities (e.g., vacations) instead of studio/financial responsibilities.

Craig Duncan (Xbox Game Studios leadership): Credited with strongly supporting Pierre's promotion despite limited mentoring.

An idea sequel that combines the a bit from Star Fox 2, Adventures (mostly), and Assault

A Star Fox game where Sauria is back, but is ruled over by Andross and the real villian, General Scales, who sides with Andross a majority of the game before he betrays him and being the one to conquer the Lylat System. Krystal will be introduced from her home planet Cerinia to save the Dino citizens, but fails and gets captured and the rest barely made it out and need of a bigger team. Time as passed since Krystal was captured and the army of apes and reptiles have taken over planets, causing General Pepper to contact the new Star Fox team: The 4 main characters and 2 new characters: Miyu and Fey.

Now you have a Star Fox 2 mechanic where you choose 4 pilots with differnt abilities, strengths and weaknesses to to save Kyrstal, the planets and defeat Andross once and for all (even though General Scales will be the true final boss). Star Wolf will be back but this time, will be rivals against Star Fox for some battles and even help out alomg the way like what both Katt and Bill have done in 64. Star Wolf is no longer fighting for Andross as both Pigma and Andrew are no longer with the team as they will be their own boss battles (Pigma doing his own thing and Andrew still loyal to Andross). Also, this is where Panther gets introduced.

That's my idea of reintroducing Miyu, Fey, and Krystal along with General Scales and Panther. It's sloppy, but I can imagine an Adventure-like plot with SF2 and Assault characters included. Katt and Bill will still be around as well and the gameplay is like 64 but this time, with SF2's Walker. The Landmaster and the Blue Marine can still be around.

Ready for those Tekken 1 tournaments!

I hardly ever seen tournaments for Tekken 1 and 2. I think these games deserve a revival now that it finally got an arcade port since Tekken 5. What's missing is a Network Mode, which Hamster had added for KOF 98 and it's been only that game unfortunately.

Oof, the Netflix film was not good.

I finally got to watch it as I was curious to see if it's as bad as everyone says it is.

It started out okay. Light found the Death Note, goes off killing criminals (which feels like a Final Destination knockoff) and L wants to investigate on who this Kira culprit is. Pretty simple stuff. I have no issues with the cast as anyone can portray as their original counterparts as long as they have done their characters well. Don't really care that Light and L are American as I'm not really that picky, but the highlight for me Willem Dafoe for acting Ryuk pretty well.

But my goodness, they completely dropped the ball hard when L crashed the fuck out over Watari gone missing as well as his death, wanting to kill Light. At this point, it really feels like I'm watching a parody of Death Note. I just skimmed through the rest of the film to see the end and uh, L wins? Alright. Light's not so bright, Mia is a complete joke, and L started out pretty good until he became a big cry baby that wants revenge.

This film went from a 6/10 to a 3. I'm usually pretty lax on live action adaptation and think many of the ones I have watched are enjoyable, but Death Note 2017 is really that terrible.

Gorgon

Man, fuck this boss as it feels like I could have beaten Area 6 faster than this. Everyone says that the Tentacles were difficult to destroy, bitto me, the Energy Balls circulating around the Core has got to me the most annoying part of the boss. Having to make the Core vulnerable was frustrating at times because you have been so busying trying to shoot down these Balls that once you finally manage to destroy the, you're targeting the Core right?

Wrong...

Gorgon will immediately close and bring the Tenticles back out again and we're back to square one. When I destroy the Balls, I quickly target the Core and started blasting, but the boss's HP just won't down because I'm almost always way too late for the Core to change into yellow.

I never completed Area 6 in the original nor the 3DS version, but I FINALLY got to beat Gorgon in the Switch remake! Biggest achievement for Star Fox 64 for me as the rest was smooth sailing afterwards. Overall, Area 6 is one, imo, the most bullshit level in these games. Hit boxes from missles we're crazy and so many enemies firing at you lol. I still like the level regardless, but Area 6 is definitely no joke.

Please DO NOT go easy on me.

If there's one thing that really bugs me when playing against another player is that they will start letting me win once they find out I'm way out of their skill level. Don't do that please. I understand it feels wrong to face against less skilled players because you might worry they would drop your favorite game, but trust me when I say I prefer facing against anyone with a great connection. My most fond experience playing these games are against those online regardless of their skill level. I won't drop the game for have a 80+ losing streak nor quit when I at least won 1 match. I just enjoy these games and it's nice to have someone online to play against rather than no one.

Any other games on that's like AC's Multiplayer?

Looking for some arcade style dogfights on Steam. Had a great time with AC7 and super excited for 8, but I was curious to see if there are other games like them with good multiplayer.

The new Star Fox has a Battle Mode that's very fun, so that's one example. I'm trying to see if there's something similar preferably on Steam other than AC.
