An idea sequel that combines the a bit from Star Fox 2, Adventures (mostly), and Assault

A Star Fox game where Sauria is back, but is ruled over by Andross and the real villian, General Scales, who sides with Andross a majority of the game before he betrays him and being the one to conquer the Lylat System. Krystal will be introduced from her home planet Cerinia to save the Dino citizens, but fails and gets captured and the rest barely made it out and need of a bigger team. Time as passed since Krystal was captured and the army of apes and reptiles have taken over planets, causing General Pepper to contact the new Star Fox team: The 4 main characters and 2 new characters: Miyu and Fey.

Now you have a Star Fox 2 mechanic where you choose 4 pilots with differnt abilities, strengths and weaknesses to to save Kyrstal, the planets and defeat Andross once and for all (even though General Scales will be the true final boss). Star Wolf will be back but this time, will be rivals against Star Fox for some battles and even help out alomg the way like what both Katt and Bill have done in 64. Star Wolf is no longer fighting for Andross as both Pigma and Andrew are no longer with the team as they will be their own boss battles (Pigma doing his own thing and Andrew still loyal to Andross). Also, this is where Panther gets introduced.

That's my idea of reintroducing Miyu, Fey, and Krystal along with General Scales and Panther. It's sloppy, but I can imagine an Adventure-like plot with SF2 and Assault characters included. Katt and Bill will still be around as well and the gameplay is like 64 but this time, with SF2's Walker. The Landmaster and the Blue Marine can still be around.

Ready for those Tekken 1 tournaments!

I hardly ever seen tournaments for Tekken 1 and 2. I think these games deserve a revival now that it finally got an arcade port since Tekken 5. What's missing is a Network Mode, which Hamster had added for KOF 98 and it's been only that game unfortunately.

Oof, the Netflix film was not good.

I finally got to watch it as I was curious to see if it's as bad as everyone says it is.

It started out okay. Light found the Death Note, goes off killing criminals (which feels like a Final Destination knockoff) and L wants to investigate on who this Kira culprit is. Pretty simple stuff. I have no issues with the cast as anyone can portray as their original counterparts as long as they have done their characters well. Don't really care that Light and L are American as I'm not really that picky, but the highlight for me Willem Dafoe for acting Ryuk pretty well.

But my goodness, they completely dropped the ball hard when L crashed the fuck out over Watari gone missing as well as his death, wanting to kill Light. At this point, it really feels like I'm watching a parody of Death Note. I just skimmed through the rest of the film to see the end and uh, L wins? Alright. Light's not so bright, Mia is a complete joke, and L started out pretty good until he became a big cry baby that wants revenge.

This film went from a 6/10 to a 3. I'm usually pretty lax on live action adaptation and think many of the ones I have watched are enjoyable, but Death Note 2017 is really that terrible.

Gorgon

Man, fuck this boss as it feels like I could have beaten Area 6 faster than this. Everyone says that the Tentacles were difficult to destroy, bitto me, the Energy Balls circulating around the Core has got to me the most annoying part of the boss. Having to make the Core vulnerable was frustrating at times because you have been so busying trying to shoot down these Balls that once you finally manage to destroy the, you're targeting the Core right?

Wrong...

Gorgon will immediately close and bring the Tenticles back out again and we're back to square one. When I destroy the Balls, I quickly target the Core and started blasting, but the boss's HP just won't down because I'm almost always way too late for the Core to change into yellow.

I never completed Area 6 in the original nor the 3DS version, but I FINALLY got to beat Gorgon in the Switch remake! Biggest achievement for Star Fox 64 for me as the rest was smooth sailing afterwards. Overall, Area 6 is one, imo, the most bullshit level in these games. Hit boxes from missles we're crazy and so many enemies firing at you lol. I still like the level regardless, but Area 6 is definitely no joke.

Please DO NOT go easy on me.

If there's one thing that really bugs me when playing against another player is that they will start letting me win once they find out I'm way out of their skill level. Don't do that please. I understand it feels wrong to face against less skilled players because you might worry they would drop your favorite game, but trust me when I say I prefer facing against anyone with a great connection. My most fond experience playing these games are against those online regardless of their skill level. I won't drop the game for have a 80+ losing streak nor quit when I at least won 1 match. I just enjoy these games and it's nice to have someone online to play against rather than no one.

Any other games on that's like AC's Multiplayer?

Looking for some arcade style dogfights on Steam. Had a great time with AC7 and super excited for 8, but I was curious to see if there are other games like them with good multiplayer.

The new Star Fox has a Battle Mode that's very fun, so that's one example. I'm trying to see if there's something similar preferably on Steam other than AC.

Indie Devs, if you're makimg a Titanfall-like, please, please, PLEASE have Minions

EDIT: Spelling mistake on title is embarrassing lol

Grunts and Spectres makes up for the charm of Titanfall, more than just the movement and Titans. You're at war and have soilders going after each other. A lot of Titanfall-likes I have seen don't have Minions and it disappoints me.

Empulse feels more like a game mode for Splitgate than a Titanfall-like.

I played the game and after about an hour and 16 minutes, I returned it. The more I played, the more I'm starting to realize that I'm playing Splitgate Arena Reloaded all over again with mechs feeling very out of place. It's like 1047 just threw mechs in, added wall running and called it a day.

What I don't like about the mechs is that players chase after them? In Titanfall, you have your own mech loadouts and can spawn them anywhere. Empulse just have them avaliable like it's a special weapon you get from Splitgate/Halo. And I don't often see a bunch of mechs running around fighting each other. It's just a maximum of 2 mechs running around from my experience. It really feels like they don't belong in this game.

And my biggest issue about this game, the map designs are small. In Titanfall, the maps are huge and you're at war. You have all types of Grunts facing against each other and for you to kill if you're not that great against real players and to get quicker access to your Titan. Grunts are what helps make Titanfall more unique compared to other shooters. It's 6v6, but feels more like 100v100 and i love that. Empulse is 6v6 only and no Grunts. Why? The new Star Fox game has a Battle Mode that features CPU controlled allies flying around that you can easily kill to gain a small amount of points and it makes 4v4 feel intense. How come Star Fox gives me more Titanfall vibes than Empulse?

Anywho, that's my thoughts on the game. This game makes me miss Titanfall more and for that reason, I'm just gonna stick with Titanfall 2. Empulse misses simple things that makes Titanfall what it is imo.

I feel kinda bad for mashing my way to victory.

I'm what I describe myself as casually competitive. I enjoy playomg against other players online, but I have taken less time in trainig mode as I find the game to be very accessible just by...mashing. Makes it fun to play multiple characters in a short time, as it's usually just mashing then into launcher, then another mashing into super, switch, mashing, super, and just foes on tull I'm pit of meter.

I have been beating my opponents just but doing that and I do feel like a jerk since some of would rage quit and even tell me to stop mashing like a coward and play fair. I don't win all the time, but the times I do, I used to fell satisfied but now, I dunno. I don't really take fighting games too seriously.

Shame that Bushiroad fumbled Dear Days not once, but twice...

We have an official, solid card simulator for current, new, and returning players to jump into Vanguard online, but Bushi just had to put a huge paywall of $60/$70 with overpriced DLCs that makes it difficult to play. Not to mention the lack of crossplay as the community is pretty niche and split between two platforms.

It's awesome that Vanguard is still alive and reached its 15th Anniversary, but it's disappointing that I can't get some of my friends or even Vanguard friends to play Dear Days as it's just too expensive to jump into and that makes me sad. If they ever plan on making a Dear Days 3 or whatever new game, I likely won't buy it if it's priced the same way. These games are still fun, don't get me wrong, but they're not worth for these ridiculous price tags. I doubt Bushi will learn from this, so I have no hopes for the next game.

Looks like Vinny voiced one of the Baabots in Bubsy 4D.

Finished the game and got to check the credits. Saw some familiar people in there, but Vinny is the one that made me laugh. Lol

Please let there be an extra route to go through all the levels!

Thisnis something I wanted from Star Fox as I wasn't too much of a fan to say through some of the levels again to get to other levels. Not to mention that I would be skipping out various encounters with characters as well. How about you get MISSION FAILED and lose a life when you don't complete an objective, just to put make the game more challenging to beat. I would love a linear path to play through all the levels and not skip out on some characters as well as the Landmaster and Blue Marine.

Experience the full story would be the best reward for me and definitely worth buying. I get the alternative routes exists for replayability, so make the full route tour reward for completing all the levels at least once!

Holy shit! Two cakes!

Well, now there are two rail shooters that I am excited for this year. Unfortunately, I feel Wild Blue Skies is gonna be forgotten quickly now that a new Star Fox is coming. I do find it funny that we are getting a remake of Star Fox 64 as well as a Star Fox 64 inspired game. Anyone else is looking forward to both of these?

Fire Emblem fans getting déjà vu when Star Fox fans talk about their characters' legs.

I remember when everyone was talking about the 3D character models back in Awakening having no feet. That was a funny memory.

SpongeBob Big Guy-Pants Okay!

This film was definitely a joy to watch. It's got the charm of both Classic and Modern SpongeBob, and it makes it into one great film. Definitely an improvement over Sponge on the Run, a movie that I also enjoyed but had a few issues. This one is very difficult for me to critique because of all of the jokes hit for me, especially when the sun set for night then immediately rose back up. That one really made me laugh out loud.

I guess you can say there's a little too much adult humor in the film, but come on? So many family cartoons will always have adult themes as jokes a lot. Even the first movie had SpongeBob getting drunk from eating so much ice cream, Patrick flying towards the Krusty Krab 2 fully nude with a flag on his butt, and both SpongeBob and Patrick shot out of David Hasselhoff's hairy man chest!

I like the plot of SponeBob wanting to be a Big Guy, a plot that has Mr. Krabs are part of a bigger role than previous films as well as Squidward. Gary didn't do anything which is disappointing, but the Flying Dutchman being the big bad is a lot better than King Poseidon. As for celebrities, Mark Hammel being the Dutchman himself was a great choice. I know Brian Murray would be better but I read the reason why he wasn't around and Hammel being the choice is great! Ice Spice got too much hate mainly because of the forced marketing from Paramount, from what I heard, but she played a very small role in the film for like a few seconds and I didn't mind her at all.

Plus, her song, "Big Guy" is a fucking bop and I will defend it for the rest of my life! Replied it 9 times so far! Repetitive, yes, but it's super catchy and I think that matters a lot more than being lyrical.

Overall, a pretty great film. I rank it higher than Sponge on the Run and Sponge out of Water. Definitely second just a bit behind the first movie for me, so great job in the film, United Plankton Studios!

The Roar League was pretty cool and I like that they put so much effort into the teams, characters, and even have you take a quiz to discover what your Roar Team you would be in. The scores were cool to look at but unfortunately, they haven't updated the scores, which is a shame. Would love for it to continue and would have these fun little arguments over which teams are the best and react to the scores. Could have been fun lol
