They offered to take our photo prior to us seeing the panda, and when we left the exhibit they had printed photos in hand offering to sell us.

It was a good photo, it’s a kid’s birthday. Family is in town. We grabbed it. Excited to own it. Perfect scenario.

My curiosity got the best of me as I thought this through in real time and I asked what would happen if we were not interested in purchasing. She said that the photos would be destroyed.

Listen, I’ve had phases in my life where I was a staunch environmentalist. These days it’s more I just live my life in the spirit of my belief system and live and let live. I also want to state, had this been an amusement park or anything like that, I would not have thought twice or batted an eyelash.

That said, it’s not. It is the local zoo who is supposed to be stewards of conservation and environmentalism.

It’s a small thing, but something I truly hope the Zoo will rethink. Stand on business, you don’t need to be wasteful to the obvious detriment of the environment in an effort to extract another $35 out of as many families as you can. Maybe have an iPad or something you can display the photos on and print on demand?

I would genuinely prefer Taylor Twellman right now. The England bias is unreal in the commentary.

That’s it, that’s the post! So far so good. Doing a four day rapid sub taper. I’ve done it successfully twice before, I’m just so grateful the DEA took action. A year or two too late in my opinion, but here we are.

Is this…. Normal? Absolutely ridiculous. A joke that they even consider themselves a real business… how in the world have you not fixed the underlying issue yet? Mods can you provide an actual update? Because preparing a cute “we’re sorry we suck” screen is not the pacifier you thought it’d be.
