2 years ago I couldn’t do a single pull up.

2 years ago I was 265. I could barely do 10 push ups and couldn’t even dead hang from a bar.

Edit: I’m 5’9” 190lbs.

195 Vs 195 12 months apart. Considering another bulk. Thoughts?

Last year in the left. Then I bulked up to around 240, and cut again. Been cutting since the beginning of the year. Considering another bulk at the end of summer. Planning on going into maintenance after about 5 more pounds.

For reference: 39y 5’9”.

Currently at 190lbs (pic on right is about 3 weeks old). I was 265 40%ish body fat 2.5 years ago. Last 3 pics are from this week.

Down from 265, 2 years ago. Now 190lbs 69”. How much more?

How many more pounds do you think I need to cut to get rid of this fat on the back of my sides?

(Yes I have gyno, I’m 39 and have no desire to have surgery)

Finally Starting to See Separation

Finally starting to see some shoulder definition. Still not happy with my triceps though. I have about ten pounds left to cut. Was 265 2.5 years ago, cut down to 190, then bulked up to 240, have been cutting back down since the start of the year. Currently sitting at 189, 5’9”. Last pic is 195pounds 2025 vs 195 a month ago (almost exactly one year apart)

Snuck in an Evening Mow [5b]

Kids took care of the back yard yesterday. Snuck in an extra mow this evening as it was cooling off. Couldn’t pass on some great lighting.

Rear Delt Cable Fly

There’s only one fly machine at my gym and it’s always taken. Am I hitting these well enough for rear delts?

A late night rifle roast, anyone?

Probably my favorite build right. Have at it.

Same weight 16 months apart.

69” 195 in both. I went from 265 (jan24) down to 195 (first picture - Jan 25). I felt like I was skinny-fat. So I did a bulk over 6 months, (I put on quite a bit of fat during that bulk. I got up to 242 (January of this year). Started a very aggressive cut to get back to 195 again (right pic from last week). Second slide is me in January just under 240.

Lift 4x week
Walk golf 3-5x week (a round is about 6miles carrying clubs)
Incline treadmill 30m after every lift
Weekends are either golf, fitness class, or pickleball. Or a combination
Calories were 1850-2050
180g protein

I think I want to continue cutting just a bit more, then go maintenance for the summer and start another bulk around August. Thoughts?

If I Keep Cutting, Will the Gyno ever be Less Noticeable?

I started seriously getting back into shape just over 2 years ago. I was 265 January 2024. I got down to 190 last year, then did a 4 month bulk, then tore (minor) my quadriceps tendon. Fought through a bit of depression and got back up to 240 by this January(2026).

I’m not sure what my body fat is now, (open to estimates) but I’ve never been able to get rid of this chest fat even as a HS/college athlete it was there. Will it always be the bane of my existence?

69”, 195lbs
