Fire-Boltt's phone debut: One side is trash, the other is garbage 💀😂

Just look at the attached screenshot man... Seriously, look at the specs on both sides 😂

The 2026 smartphone market is already in a rough spot, and Fire-Boltt really looked at that and decided to launch two flavors of pure e-waste: on the left you have absolute trash, on the right you have pure garbage.

Look at what they are offering in late 2026. Who in their right mind is actually going to spend money on either of these? 😭

Are brands just packaging ancient leftover warehouse stock and calling it a new launch?

Are mid-range smartphones losing their value proposition in 2026? (Vivo Y31t leak breakdown)

Look at the attached leak. We all expected inflation to hit the smartphone market in 2026, but this is a whole new low.

How is a 720p HD+ display and base-tier hardware being sold for ₹26,000 to ₹35,000 just because it has a big battery?

Even till last year, ₹20k–₹30k got you solid 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED panels and respectable chipsets. Now brands are blatantly testing how low they can cut corners before casual offline buyers notice.

At this rate, what are we even looking at for 2027? ₹40k for 4GB RAM phones?

Is there any genuine justification for this, or are offline margins just running out of control?

Recent Chat with Techibee

Techibee aka Ashok Bhai have said he is actively in touch with 1+ and he said they are working with this issue. as we know, as every other brand, 1+ will not easily get convinced to give suitable solutions to sufferers as the users who have suffered this issue is just 31 or 32 users and for them this number is too small.. but for a user who have spend a hefty amount for a flagship will not gona leave this issue so easily.

₹65,000+ Flagship & Sudden Motherboard Dead? Why Are OnePlus 12 Users Silent? It’s Time to Unite & Take Legal Action

Sudden motherboard failure on a flagship phone like the OnePlus12 is a serious concern.

What is the point of promising 4 to 5 years of software support if the hardware struggles to survive even 2 years with zero physical/liquid damage?

Affected users must not stay silent. We need to unite, document our cases, and escalate genuine manufacturing defects through proper consumer forums..

OnePlus 12 motherboard dead issue

If you know someone whose OnePlus 12 motherboard has died, could you confirm which storage variant they had? 256GB or 512GB?

Someone told me that the 256GB model is more prone to motherboard failure. I’m trying to find out whether there’s any truth to this or if both variants are affected.

OnePlus 12 Freeze/Blacked Screen, Random Restarts and Sim unavailable

I bought my OnePlus 12 (Indian variant) in July 2024. Since last two weeks, the phone has been acting up and it's gotten much worse over the last few days. I've had well over 150 incidents, with 20+ today alone.

The phone will randomly freeze, the screen goes black, touch stops working completely, and the only thing I can do is force it to shut down. Sometimes the SIM disappears, and other times the phone just restarts itself.

I contacted OnePlus support and followed everything they asked me to do. First a factory reset, then a full software reflash. Neither fixed the issue. If anything, the freezes seem even more frequent after the reflash.

I took it to the service center yesterday for flash. When flashing also didn't help, then their response was that it could be a motherboard issue, but they aren't sure. The proposed solution is a motherboard replacement costing ₹32,500, but they also said they can't guarantee that replacing the motherboard will actually solve the problem. Their other suggestion was basically to buy a new phone.

I have attached a video of the issue as well.

Has anyone else faced similar issues with their OnePlus 12?? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Realme officially hikes prices across lineup by up to ₹4,000 citing component costs

According to a recent retail partner circular, Realme is increasing prices across several models starting today.

Key points:

- Reason cited by the brand: rising memory, chipset, and overall supply chain costs.

- The highest jumps are on the 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ lineup (₹3k–₹4k increase).

- Offline retail stores usually maintain existing inventory at previous MRP for a short window before applying the revised pricing.

- This base price revision might directly impact effective deals heading into the upcoming festive season sales.

Circular attached. What are your thoughts on this pricing move across the midrange segment?

OnePlus 12 Motherboard Dead: 31+ cases already compiled on official forum, service centers asking ₹35k+

This is getting serious. On the official OnePlus community itself, users have compiled 31+ verified cases of OnePlus 12 motherboards dying, mostly post-updates.

Here is the ground reality:

- People paid ₹65k–₹70k for a flagship, and devices are dying within just 1–1.5 years with zero physical or water damage.

- Service centers are quoting ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 for motherboard replacement instead of owning up to the issue.

- OnePlus introduced lifetime warranty for green lines due to public pressure. Why is there total silence on dead boards for their top-tier flagship?

- A ₹65k+ phone should not become an expensive paperweight in under two years.

iQOO Neo 10 Motherboard Failure Resolved: User Secures Vivo X200T at ~₹31k Adjusted Value via Community-Backed Escalation

Hey everyone,

Really wanted to drop a positive update here today. With all the frustration around motherboard dead issues post-updates, it’s refreshing to see an OEM actually listen and take responsibility.

A user dealing with a dead motherboard on their iQOO Neo 10 recently reached out on r/motherboard11 for help on how to document everything properly. After keeping a clean job sheet (zero water/physical damage) and following up with the service team, iQOO handled it really professionally.

They settled the case by providing a brand new Vivo X200T at an adjusted valuation of around ₹31,000 (after adjusting usage depreciation).

Honestly, huge props and thank you to the iQOO/Vivo team for listening to genuine users and working out a fair solution instead of just handing out massive repair bills.

Really hope the brand continues this positive approach for all other genuine users who are still struggling with post-update restart loops and dead boards across the Neo series. Proper after-sales support like this is what builds long-term trust.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro Motherboard DEAD post-July update (19 months old): Official Service Center confirms ZERO physical/liquid damage, yet denies accountability!

Hey everyone,

Adding another critical case to the growing list of hardware failures post-July update on iQOO/Vivo devices.

The Incident:

* Device: iQOO Neo 9 Pro (₹35,000 price point, ~19 months old).

* Issue: Motherboard completely died right after installing the July software update.

* Official Diagnosis: The Authorized Service Center inspected the device and confirmed:

- ZERO Physical Damage

- ZERO Liquid / Moisture Damage

- ZERO User Fault

### The Service Center's Stance:

Even after verifying on the official Job Sheet that the phone has no physical or liquid damage and the user is not at fault, the company is dodging accountability. Their response: *"We cannot confirm whether the July update caused it or if it is an internal component failure, but we won't fix it free of cost."*

How can a ₹35,000 performance phone completely die in less than two years without any external damage or misuse? When software updates or substandard component quality brick a motherboard, why should the consumer be forced to pay ₹15,000–₹20,000 for a replacement?

Evidence & Documentation:

• Video proof of the dead handset attached with this post.

• Official Job Sheet / Inspection report attached in the comments.

• Twitter/X escalation link: https://x.com/i/status/2089279616964088306

Why is iQOO India still silent on post-update motherboard deaths when brands like OnePlus were forced to offer extended warranties and free fixes?

If you have faced a dead motherboard, bootloop, or screen failure on your Neo 9 Pro / Neo series post-update, please share your details below. Let's document this together and demand accountability!

POCO and OPPO increase smartphone prices in India by up to ₹5,000

As highlighted in the screenshot, the recurring trend of upward price revisions continues across multiple lineups, including recent models from POCO and OPPO.

This points to a broader pattern where difficult market conditions keep driving device costs higher over time.

Points for discussion: • Given the ongoing market strain, do you foresee hardware pricing stabilizing anytime soon, or is this recurring inflation here to stay? • Are these continuous adjustments permanently raising the baseline pricing for mid-to-upper tier smartphones in India? • What are your predictions on where this cycle leaves future smartphone pricing overall?

Vivo/iQOO suppressing user feedback post-July update? What is the ground reality for Neo 9 Pro / Neo 10 replacements?

Hey everyone,

Came across an incident on X (Twitter) where a user highlighted motherboard dead and green line issues in the official OriginOS community group post-July update. The message was initially deleted and the user was removed by the admin, though the admin later promised to escalate it after public feedback on X.

Source / Original Post Link: https://x.com/i/status/2088714821961494941

This raises an important discussion regarding hardware quality and customer service accountability for iQOO/Vivo users in India.

I wanted to check with the community regarding the ground reality for iQOO Neo 9 Pro / Neo 10 / Neo 10R devices: & Vivo X and Vivo V devies

  1. Hardware Stability: Are you facing calling screen freezes, extreme heating, or dead motherboard issues post recent updates?

  2. Service Experience: If original replacement parts were unavailable, how did the service center handle your ticket?

  3. Replacements/Upgrades: Did they offer an upgraded unit (like Neo 10 / iQOO 13) 100% Free of Cost (FOC), or were extra difference amounts demanded?

  4. Process Hurdles: Were cases delayed citing "logs not generated" or forced into repetitive observation cycles?

Please share your constructive experiences and service outcomes below. Let's document how brands are handling post-update hardware support in India!

Vivo/iQOO suppressing user feedback post-July update? Admin backpedals after public backlash—We need to unite & speak up!

Hey everyone,

Look at what happened recently on X (Twitter): A user shared genuine motherboard dead and green line issues in the official OriginOS community group post-July update. The group admin immediately deleted the message and banned/removed the user to suppress the issue.

However, once the incident was posted publicly on X and faced heavy community criticism and backlash, the same admin backpedaled and promised to "escalate the matter to higher authorities" and help.

Source / Original Post Link: https://x.com/i/status/2088714821961494941

This clearly shows that brands try to sweep critical defects under the rug until we unite and raise our voices collectively. When the community speaks up, accountability follows. We need to support each other, share our issues openly, and not suffer in silence!

I want to check with the community regarding the actual ground reality for iQOO Neo 9 Pro / Neo 10 / Neo 10R devices:

  1. Hardware Stability: How many of you are facing calling freezes, severe heating, or dead boards post recent updates?

  2. Replacement Status: Has anyone successfully received a brand new replacement unit from iQOO/Vivo?

  3. Upgrade Choices Offered: If parts were unavailable, which replacement model did they offer (Neo 10 / iQOO 13 / equivalent)?

  4. Extra Charges: Are service centers providing 100% Free of Cost (FOC) replacements, or are they demanding extra difference amounts?

  5. Denial Tactics: Did they reject your case citing "no logs generated" or force you into endless observation loops?

Please share your experiences below and spread this with anyone facing hardware defects. Let's document everything together so brands are held fully accountable!

Vivo/iQOO Admin Banned User for Exposing July Update Defects, Backpedals After Outrage: What’s the Replacement Reality for Neo 9 Pro / Neo 10?

Hey everyone,

Look at the attached screenshots: A Vivo X300 user raised genuine motherboard dead and green line issues in the official OriginOS community group post-July update, and the Admin simply removed him and deleted the message. Only after heavy public criticism on Twitter/X did the admin backpedal and promise to escalate it.

This censorship shows why we need to step up and raise our voices collectively instead of suffering in silence.

I want to ask the community about the ground reality regarding iQOO Neo 9 Pro / Neo 10 / Neo 10R issues:

  1. Motherboard / Battery Failures: How many of you faced dead boards, reboot loops, or calling freezes post-July update?

  2. Replacement Status: Has anyone successfully received a brand new replacement unit from iQOO/Vivo?

  3. Upgrade Choices Offered: If parts were out of stock, which device did they offer as a replacement (Neo 10 / iQOO 13 / equivalent)?

  4. The "Extra Charges" Trap: Are service centers providing 100% Free of Cost (FOC) replacements, or are they demanding extra difference amounts?

  5. Rejections & Delays: Did they reject your case citing "no logs generated" or force you into endless observation loops?

If you are facing unresolved hardware issues or forced extra charges on your Neo series device, drop your experience below. Let’s document this together so the brand is held accountable!

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Green Line Scam: What to do if Service Center rejects Free Display Replacement? (Step-by-Step Escalation Guide)

Hey everyone,

Samsung officially acknowledged the green/white line display issue and announced a 1-time free screen replacement program within 3 years of purchase. However, the ground reality at service centers is extremely frustrating:

  1. The "Post-3-Year" Trap: For many users, lines randomly appear just a few weeks or months after crossing the 3-year mark post-update.

  2. In-Warranty Rejections: Even within the 3-year window, service centers try to reject free replacements over minor cosmetic scratches, claiming "physical/liquid damage".

What to do if Samsung rejects your Free Replacement:

Step 1: Demand a Job Sheet / Rejection Report

Never leave the service center without an official Job Sheet stating clearly why free replacement was denied despite no internal display crack or water damage.

Step 2: Escalate Directly to Samsung Head Office & CEO Desk

Do not waste time with regular helpline calls. Email the top management directly with photos, purchase invoice, and the job sheet:

• CEO Desk: ceo.office@samsung.com

• Nodal/Grievance: support.india@samsung.com

Draft Subject: "URGENT: Defective Display / Green Line Issue Post-Update on Galaxy S21 FE | Denial of Free Screen Replacement"

Step 3: National Consumer Helpline (NCH)

Register a complaint on consumerhelpline.gov.in or via the NCH App. Attach the denial job sheet and mention: "Manufacturing defect post software update; unfair trade practice under Consumer Protection Act 2019."

Step 4: Social Media Callout (Twitter / X)

Tag @SamsungIndia, @SamsungSupport, and Consumer Affairs (@jagograhakjago) with photos showing zero dent/cracks on the body

Do not pay ₹10,000–₹12,000 for Samsung’s hardware defect. If enough users push through formal escalations, the CEO desk approves free FOC (Free of Cost) replacements.

Has anyone successfully gotten their screen replaced recently? Share your experience below!

Why is nobody calling out Motorola India for severe QC issues on Edge 70 Pro & G-series?

Hey everyone,

Motorola gets praised for "Clean UI", but their hardware QC and after-sales service are at an all-time low. Real users are silently suffering while service centers refuse accountability:

  1. Camera Lens Fogging: The new Edge 70 Pro is getting moisture and dense fog trapped inside the camera module within days of normal use (see photos). Service centers casually dismiss this poor IP sealing as "weather effect".

  2. Green Line Issues: G-series (G52, G72, G82) and Edge models randomly develop vertical green lines, with ₹7k–₹9k repair demands if out of warranty.

  3. Motherboard Crashes: Random bootloops and dead boards with zero goodwill support.

  4. Terrible Service: Weeks of delay for basic parts and endless "observation" loops.

Other brands were forced to offer lifetime display warranties and replacements when the community raised its voice. Why are we giving Motorola a free pass?

If you are facing these issues, post your proof on Twitter/X, NCH, and Consumer Forums. Moto needs to be held accountable!

u/No-Tomorrow-7596 — 3 days ago

⚠️ [CRITICAL RULE] DO NOT get your device repaired at third-party local shops if you plan to claim warranty/NCH support!

If your phone died, got stuck in a bootloop, or developed screen lines post-update, here is a golden rule:

🚫 NEVER let a local/third-party repair shop open, solder, or heat your device!

Why this will completely ruin your case:

  1. Voided Consumer Claims: The moment third-party tools touch internal screws, water-resistant seals, or motherboard shields, authorized service centers will mark your device as "Tampered / Unauthorized Third-Party Intervention."

  2. Failed NCH Escalations: When filing grievances with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) or Consumer Forum, the brand will produce internal teardown photos showing non-OEM solder flux or missing seals. Your entire claim for free repair/replacement will be instantly rejected.

  3. Diagnostic Trap: Local shops often attempt temporary heat-reflow on the CPU/PMIC. Even if it boots for 2 days, it will die permanently, leaving you with zero legal leverage.

✅ What you SHOULD do instead:

• Submit the device ONLY to the official authorized service center first.

• Demand a clear Job Sheet stating the phone is in "Scratchless / No Tamper / No Liquid Damage" condition.

• If they quote an unfair price (e.g. ₹20k–₹35k), take the device back intact without repair and file on NCH (1915).

Keep the device 100% factory-sealed so your legal claim remains rock solid!
