Just something I've been thinking about of recent, I live in NYC and I was aware of Taylor Swift's wedding in MSG, but I kinda forgot about it. I didn't realise it happened, I walked past MSG the day of and there were no crowds, no fans shouting "we love you Taylor" there was a smattering of people at most and most were media.
It's not just her either, there are very few if any celebrities who are universally loved; those who once were like Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Kate Middleton etc, have no become more contriversial.
People just don't seem as excited by celebrities as they were in the magic era that was pre 2020, what happened?

Helaena used to be my favourite show character but like three seasons in, I am realising she doesn’t seem to express care about anything or anyone.
The other characters; Alicent, Aegon, Aemond, Rhaenyra, Otto, Corlys etc all care about their families, legacies, etc.
The all have actual goals and wants. Helaena doesn’t seem to care about her children, grandfather, her husband, father, mother, her brother or dragon.
The only times she speaks more than two words are to insult Aegon or Aemond.
She was aware enough to talk to daemon about his future, reduce Aemond to tears and humiliate Aegon at dinner.
She seems to only care about her bugs and her own comfort
In both cannons she has Alicent and Helena, yet at no point does she think to write to ormund/ Hubert.

Daeron would absolutely not fight if his mother and sister were in peril.
Alicent tried the same with Aegon iii but failed cause the mass defection in the castle
