Ordered reta from a domestic source and after a few days with no response other than a receipt for payment I started looking for them on different testing lab websites.

I found a failed test under their name and sent them an email asking if they were going to be able to fulfill the order. They apologized for the lack of communication and said they just got the results back on a fresh batch and they will express ship to me at no extra charge.

My concern now is did they really have a new batch tested or just shop around to get one cleared or are they going to still send me the failed batch.

So many reasons not to trust the coa. This is my first time and I do see posts from people that say they don't pay for their own tests, but even though it adds a lot of money to the overall cost it's got to be worth the wait.

Anyone know who pays the highest percent of spot gold price? I've called a couple spots in Hilo that were from 65-75% which is really low. Anywhere on the island is fine.

My garage floor is always wet. We get on average 120 inches of rain a year. Every time I park the water runs off the car and pools on the floor. I coated the concrete with Thompson's water seal about five years ago and it's time for another coat.

My current method of "drying" it is a combination of a large floor squeegee and a wetvac.

Any suggestions to help keep it dry? I'm considering building a covered car port to let the water drain off the car before parking it for the night.

The only piece of leather I have is a small square of " genuine leather". Maybe about one square foot.

I've some threads and a speedy stitches and a small starter kit from Temu.

Anything useful I can make with it as I practice stitching and cutting?

I think my favorite part of a new reaction to Hi Ren is knowing that person is about to have their mind blown. They get to be constantly amazed by the variety and pure genius and originality of Ren. They get to watch the tales for the first time. One of the earlier reactions was by a teen girl in the southern US. She had her mother and grandmother with her and all three were impressed. The grandmother said it wasn't something she'd usually listen to, but thought it was very good. I wonder about her sometimes. Is she a RENegade now? Maybe not. But she got to see him.

Looked at the price and it's gone up about a hundred dollars.

We've been recovering from a storm and just got power back yesterday. Been one hell of a time, but now we can all just relax and listen to the music.

The power came back on last night after hurricane Lala hit Hawaii a couple weeks ago.

I kept everything running with a generator but that used a lot of fuel as was in general a pain in the ass😁. It's on wheels but also weighs330 lbs. So just hauling it out of the garage every day was a bit of work for an old dude with a bad back.

I'm looking at the eco flow delta pro something or other to power the basics to start with and maybe expand later on.

The primary things are fridge, chest freezer and well pump.

I'm not sure how many solar panels id need to start with though. Would four 300 watt panels be enough?

Can I even connect that many?

If the next storm keeps the sky cloudy for a week will that be enough battery storage to last?

Sorry for all the questions.

Someone posted on nextdoor that they spoke with hellco and was told that by Friday power would be back on.

New champion generator, dual fuel and I'm using propane. The 110 outlet trips after about five minutes with only one thing connected, the refrigerator.

I can reset it and it'll be fine for another 5 minutes or so.

I've tried 25 and 100 foot extension cords. Same result. Both cords are 15 years old. They don't have any obvious cuts and they aren't getting hot or even warm.

Just bought a new extension cord and when I get home I'll try that.

I suspect that I wasn't letting it run long enough before connecting the cord so I will give that 5+ minutes this time.

Is there anything else I could check or do?

is there anything I can do that doesn't involve replacing the GFCI outlet on the generator with a non GFCI outlet?

will it be ok to just keep resetting the circuit? the fridge is 8 years old and I'm not a big fan of it so buying a new one if I destroy this one isn't the end of the world.

also I think it's a 12000w generator, basically the biggest one I could lift.

It's 5 a.m. here on the east side of Hawai'i Island and the storm still hasn't hit. I was expecting it at about midnight. The power did flicker at 4:00. The humidity is through the roof and there's little wind. Definitely feels like the calm before the storm.

Wish it was moving faster as we're expected to get up to 24" of rain during this storm. If that all happens during the day that's fine, its the rainforest and we are used to tropical downpours. A few roads will flood in th the usual spots and there could be some landslides up along the Hamakua coast.

My preps included getting the generator and chainsaws ready, pre cooking a few days of meals and doing laundry. Didn't want to be doing chores while the power was out.

I don't really feel anything from kratom until a few hours in and then it hits the hardest. Normal?

We've all got our generators and chainsaws ready and loose items secured. Get your laundry done before the power goes out for a week or more, pre cook a few days worth of meals and get some easy reading books to pass time with.
