I want to share exactly what has happened to me over the last two weeks because I am completely done dealing with this automated nightmare from Meta, and I know many of you are going through the exact same thing right now on this subreddit.

Two weeks ago, my account was falsely suspended due to an "automated violation." Meta support actually reviewed it, admitted it was an error on their end, and restored it. But because of that recent false flag, my account was left in a hyper-sensitive security state.

This week, I traveled out of state to Virginia to visit family. The second I tried to log in from my new location, the automated security system panicked, flagged a "location mismatch," and put a hard hardware/device block on my phone and laptop. Now, it completely refuses to recognize my trusted devices.

Here is where the massive failure of their paid service comes in. I pay monthly for Meta Verified "Enhanced Support" on Facebook. When I opened a live support ticket, the front-line chat agents explicitly messaged me admitting that their own software screens are grayed out and they do not have the administrative permissions to override the automated lock. They scheduled a phone callback window for this afternoon and then completely dropped the ball—never called.

To try and get a human to help me, I actually subscribed to Meta Verified support on my Instagram account since I wasn't locked out over there. What's completely wild is that Instagram isn't saying my device is unrecognized, even though my Instagram is completely tethered to my locked Facebook account on the exact same phone. But even after paying to upgrade on Instagram, I can't load those support pages either because they are completely BLOCKED by the hardware flag. (also still getting Facebook push notifications)

So now I am paying for Meta Verified on EACH platform for enhanced support, and I cannot access the service on either one because of their own technical glitch. The support and identity-verification links they email me load completely blank pages because my physical hardware has been blacklisted by their algorithm. We pay for hacker protection, yet they treat US like the hackers.

Meanwhile, Meta’s billing department has no problem sending me my monthly monetization payout statements to my email, completely verifying my real name and my legal address—proving their own system knows exactly who and where I am.

Facebook hammers you with slogans like "Grow your business with Facebook! Connect this, connect that, create a business page, list on Marketplace." I did exactly what they asked. Because of this automated lockout loop, my entire livelihood is frozen. I am locked out of my content monetization money, my active Marketplace listings, my local photography business communication, and the primary communication line for my farm’s local egg customers.

The extreme stress of having my multiple businesses completely cut off while being deceptively stonewalled and lied to by a paid service actually landed me in urgent care on Friday night with dangerous vitals, resulting in a doctor-ordered emergency transfer to the ER.

By charging recurring monthly fees for an "Enhanced Support" safety net that their own automated infrastructure renders completely inaccessible to consumers in a crisis, Meta is engaging in unfair, fraudulent, and deceptive business practices. I am actively compiling my logs, broken links, agent chat admissions, and medical bills to pitch a formal case to national consumer class-action law firms. If our individual cases aren't strong enough alone, a class action is the path forward.

This is a blatant failure of a paid service. Meta is taking money from creators and business owners for premium support, but when their own automated glitches freeze our livelihoods, their support staff physically cannot help us.
