I Found A 1985 Sony Trinitron At My Local Electronics Recycling Center!

Just recently, I went to my local electronics recycling center, where I found a working Sony KV-1396R CRT TV from November of 1985. The unit itself still works perfectly despite being covered in dust, and it also has AV inputs on the back!

I'm Forever Grateful For My Local Electronics Recycling Center!

I figured I'd finally post about my recycling center finds on here since the sub's rule about E-waste facility purchases has been changed. I've always had to pay for my recycling center finds, but only for the small price of $10-$15 per item!

With that said, here are some of the notable things I've found at my local electronics recycling center!

The CRT Wall Is Up!

I've taken four of the CRTs I found at the recycling center and stacked them on top of each other to form this pretty decent sized wall of CRTs! All four sets work perfectly and are ready to be used for any projects I might have in the future!

Bottom Left: Sharp 19E-M40R/19C-M100R (Unsure About Model)

CRT TVs & Monitors

For just over 10 months, I've collected 30+ CRTs, both TVs and monitors! I got most of them online, but others I got from my local recycling center, thrift stores, or even for free from family members! Most of them work, and I just like to play around with them every now and then.

Found A Nearly 50-Year-Old Bottle Of Lemon Extract In My Grandparents' Kitchen

I said nearly 50-years-old because I took these pictures in 2025 but didn't upload them until now. I was at my grandparents' house making myself breakfast, when I found out that the peanut butter was expired. So, I looked around for any other items worth noting, and I found this bottle of lemon extract from 1976.

As for why I took these pictures outside, I went into the backyard so I wouldn't wake my grandparents up as it was still early in the morning. Afterwards, I put the bottle back in the cabinet like nothing happened.
