What city do you think Arthur's "Elwood City" is set in based on this map and other context clues from the show

My bet is Erie, Pennsylvania.

This was the town that the Author Marc Brown grew up in. The climate and topography shown in the show match.

There is a lake with beaches in the show that mirrors Presque Isle State Park on Lake Erie.

There is a mall called Millcreek Mall in the actual city of Erie.

The setting of the show has 4 seasons and gets snowy, which rules out the American South and much of the American West, leaving only the Midwest or Northeast as possible options.

Can a bad graduate school GPA tank an otherwise stellar undergraduate gpa?

I have an undergrad gpa of 3.77. However, I have 2 graduate school gpas that are less than stellar. One is a Masters in Biomedical Sciences program that I didn't finish but had a 0.7 GPA by the time I was dismissed from the program. Another is a PharmD GPA that is 2.2 with several instances of Academic Probation. My GRE is 316 which is pretty middle of the road for top 50 schools.

Why does most Latin Music (especially top hits) come from only a few countries (mainly Colombia and Puerto Rico/D.R.)

Maluma, Shakira, Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, and many more artists mostly come from Colombia or Puerto Rico. Why don't countries like Mexico or Argentina produce popular Latin music despite having larger populations? I know they do produce music but most aren't really well known or may be more traditional.

Am I the ideal candidate for night shift pharmacy?

I'm a night owl student who normally goes to bed at 8 am and sleeps until 3-4 pm on days when I don't have lecture. I also have no friends to hang out with during the day anyways and just cope with Trintellix. In addition I intend to remain celibate forever so have no family obligations. Furthermore I am allergic to daylight and work/study more efficiently after dark.

What draws me to night shift roles is how they are easier to get (many don't require residency) and may also pay a little more (even if its a $5-$10 differential)

I also like to travel to Japan/Southeast Asia several times a year to see my grandparents and with this schedule I'm not jet lagged when I get there.

What do Native Americans think about causing the extinction of megafauna like Mammoths, Giant Sloths, Glyptodons 10,000 years ago

I know this was a very long time ago, even before most current tribes formed and a Native American identity was perceived. However, is this topic ever dwelled upon or to Native Americans feel they are responsible for these extinctions since it was their ancestors who hunted the animals? Does this chapter inspire modern day Native Americans to be good caretakers of their land?

As a 20 something just getting started on my career, I was able to take several memorable trips to places like Guatemala, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and even Peru through Spirit Airlines low fares. With jet fuel prices already double, the end of Spirit Airlines further increases already sky high air fares.

Spirit Airlines used to be a way the lower and middle class can afford to visit family out of state or country or take their family on a vacation.

The most common ways to Gerrymander are to either concentrate all of one party's voters into one Congressional district or to separate a cluster of a party's voters into 2 separate districts to dilute their power. Both techniques favor Republicans.

  1. Concentrating voters

It is much easier to concentrate democrat voters than Republican voters because Democrats live in densely populated areas while Republicans are spread out. This is why there are several D+30 districts but almost no R+30 districts. Because Republicans are spread out, it is hard to concentrate 750,000 Republicans in a rural area alone without including the population of some more moderate towns or suburbs.

  1. Separating voters

Another technique, like in Salt Lake City, is to spread a parties voters among different districts so they don't make a majority in any district. This is easier done with Democrats than with Republicans. Dividing a city into 2 moderately Republican districts is fairly straightforward by just cutting the city in half. However for Democrats to separate Republican voters they will have to combine their voters in urban cores with red exurbs and rural areas. This more often than not leads to snake like districts with the head blue but the body/tail red. This is also hard for Democrats since many deep blue urban cores are surrounded by lighter blue suburban districts. Since congressional districts have to be contiguous, this makes it harder to create a district that includes both the urban center and rural areas without first going through bluish suburbs.

They are currently having a $39/night promotion if you stay for 3 nights including breakfast. This is by far the most affordable hotel in the area. Recently reviews seem mostly positive.

Bangladesh and Tibet are only 69 miles away. However in this 69 miles, the climate, topography, culture, religion, and phenotypes of the people change drastically.

As an American I would be happy if the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Trump. Many Republicans would also support an arrest warrant for Obama or Biden. Why are Israelis trying to defend Netanyahu when they don't support him in the first place.
