Help me find my UWs partner.

Looking for screens for what will be my gaming corner in my new place.

Pretty sure im getting:

The Strix XG34WCDMS

Or it's newer model if on sale as main gaming screen.

What I'm Looking For:

A screens to "compliment" this one, but where Strix will be for gaming, my second unknown screen will be for Netflix/discord etc..

Id prefer to have the screens stacked rather than paired.

(So they are aligned upwards, not side by side).

My pc is:

Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (16 GB GDDR7 VRAM)

Processor (CPU): Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF (20 Cores / 20 Threads, up to 5.5 GHz)

System Memory (RAM): 32 GB DDR5 (6000MHz, Corsair Vengeance RGB)

Storage Capacity (SSD): 2 TB NVMe M.2 SSD

Operating System (OS): Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

Supporting Hardware Components

CPU Cooler: Phanteks Glacier One 360M25 Komplett Edition (360mm Liquid Radiator. . What should be my second media screen to have above in stack

What screen do you guys recommend to pair with styx or similar UltraWide.

Best pc controller for clunky/big-ish hands.

My left hand is in cast, which is soon coming off.

*which is why I only use one hand in photo*.

To that end i need a controller i can use on my pc, i live on the countryside in Norway. (So my options to test hold are limited).

After extended gaming sessions on my ps5, my hands get a little tired.. But i don't play very hard or complex or active games on it.

*forza, creed, cotw*.

But on my pc I will play:

Nier

Elden ring

Binding of issac

Dead cells.

RPGS Like witcher (I love that game).

So my handcomfort will be a bit more important here.

And placement etc.

23 cm pinky to thumb (when stretched).

20 ish from base of hand to tip of middle.

These are some various AI spit out and keep being praised around cyberspace, but rhe negatives they give is very contradicting..:

Nacon Revolution X Unlimited

Victrix Pro BFG (Xbox / PC Variant

The Razer Wolverine V3 TE

Are these good for big/mediun hands?

Is there better?

I want comfort and function for purpose, over bells, whistles and strobe lights.

2-300 ish budget.

Ck3 vs Hearts of iron vs stelaris.

Looking to get more into grand strategy games, i already got TW warhammer 3 + 3 dlcs .

But i want to try one of the others as they seem different and like they could challah me in other ways.

But I have no experience with games like this, where is a good place to start?

I am also a history nerd and im fascinated by space, so i figured thematically, these would fit pretty well!

Is one better than the other for beginners?

Is there better?

Which would you choose?

Would you recommend one of these or something else

Looking for a better gaming monitor than my 6+ year old one.

Im not honestly that fuzzed about 4k, id rather have longevity and smoother experiences.

I am a Rpg addict, anythinh with rpg (from survivals like Subnautica and core keeper to witcher 3).

Lately I've also gotten into total war and binding of issac/dead cells,

Which had me land on these.. Are these the best for my needs?

Which would you go for?

This is my pc:

Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (16 GB GDDR7 VRAM)

Processor (CPU): Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF (20 Cores / 20 Threads, up to 5.5 GHz)

System Memory (RAM): 32 GB DDR5 (6000MHz, Corsair Vengeance RGB)

Operating System (OS): Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

Supporting Hardware Components

CPU Cooler: Phanteks Glacier One 360M25 Komplett Edition (360mm Liquid Radiator.

Im In the middle of moving and decorating, so dont know my lighting situation yet..

I will eventually replace my second monitors with a media screen but most important is improving my gaming one.

Would you go for one of these or something else?

Dq 11 now at 50% off or wait for dq 11 switch 2 vers.

Currently a sale on dq 11, I've never played a DQ game..

But want to try one!

From what I can tell dq11 is most loved and longest game playtime/time to finish.

Which makes it excellent for me as I need entertainment while my left hand heals.

(I do have pokemon and vamp survivors as well).

But when all I care about is experiencing the games, im not sure the improvements will be worth the S2 price.

\- but I've also read there is lots of studders and graphical issues..

Which has me -???-

I have a switch 2! But don't mind playing S1 games if the difference is negligible/not that huge/noticeable.

Thoughts?

Cant decide if i should pc or switch 2/ps5 these games..

Prices are in NOK..

Never played any of them or their franchises. (Beyond 7 demo).

Is the performance different ti where they are worth higher cost elsewhere?

Its not like these are competitive games..

But graphics and how they handle/controlls etc can affect your experience.

Where do people prefer to play these?

u/WastelandViking — 2 days ago

Nacon Revolution X Unlimited 360 vs cyclone 2 (big hands).

I am medically retired, so i spend a lot of time on gaming.

Been expanding my horizons when it comes to gaming and I've started playing games a controller would be better and more comfortable.

Id use a ps5 ds, but my hands are evidently to large and its been giving me more handcramps than needed.

I have 0 experience with controllers outside if that, but Google ai recommend these.

Is there better for big handed gamers? Somewhat long fingers.

I will be buying it in Norway if I can, as i live here.

1-200 usd (1-2000 nok)

Will be using wire for as good of a response as possible. So can be wired and wireless.

Games Id play is with it is:

Stuff like witcher 3, nier, binding of issac, dead cells, elden ring. +++

Best gaming controller for pc?

Been expanding my gaming horizons, to that end i need a controller.

Ff7, binding of issac, nier, elden ring, hollow knight ++++

I've never used a controller with my pc before, so I've never looked into one..

What are the recommended controllers for medium/big hands?

My gaming sessions can last a very long time, so comfort and battery or possibility for wire is must.

Trying to break out of my "comfort-zone", need game suggestions

Bear with me, as i am unsure on how to ask for what i want.

I am a "confort goblin" when it comes to gaming and this is something i wanna break out of.

I want new experiences! And I want to be, challenged!if its mechanics or gameplay to master or games that are just beautiful and give new worthwhile story experiences.

Games I nornally play is:

Witcher 3

Subnautica

Graveyard keeper

Raft

Rdr2

Creed franchise.

Civ 5.

I love them, but you don't get particularly challenged and eventually when buying similar games, its all "same same"...

To that end I bought:

Resident evil Bio and villiage gold edition bundle.

\-never touched the franchise personally and I am easy to scare. So this will be new experiences across the board.

And

Total War warhammer 3 + 3 dlc.

This will be my first total war and grand strategy (outside the easy Civ5).

Ive also for some reason had a aversion to platformers, rougelites and metroidvanias etc.

But not so much anymore.. so never touched those games either.

BUT feel free to suggest ANY hard/frustrating game as long as the "payoff"/dopamine is worth it.

OR games that breaks away from the standard rpg-cozy for a different great experience.

I have played Elden ring, loved the bosses, hated the souls farming. (Felt farming souls took longer than some bosses).

Games ive looked at:

Hellblade senua sacrifice.

Crusader kings 3

Hollow knight and Dead cells (though duno if better on ps5 or with controller on pc).

Nier Automata (never played these either, same question pc vs ps5 ).

Silent hill.

Monster hunter wilds.

Rimworld

Ready or not.

But, Again: Feel free to recommend anything that's either Unforgiving/painfully hard/challenging with an amazing reward feeling when you succeed. Or just a addictive effort+reward structure.

Or spectacular graphics/environment with a different take on story/genere/gameplay.

As the whole point to be challenged mentally, mechanically, emotionally

Or

To have a "holy" masterpiece experience.

Where can i find a good beginner guide for Tw: warhammer 3?

My first forě into both total war and these types of games in general.

My new pc hasn't arrived yet, so i figured id look up guides or factions/dlcs etc while I wait.

But youtube being youtube, every guide has "best guide everz" or something to that effect.

IS there an actual good guide creator, for beginners.

If so, who?

Do you have any BEGINNER tips and tricks.

[Sib] Totalt war: warhammer 3

Should I get base game TW: warhammer 3 or is it worth it to get trilogy?

I've been wanting to get into games like this for ages..

I've been getting increasingly into warhammer as of late as well.

But i dont know if i should just start with base game or get trilogy.

As I've never played any games similar to this.

(Closest I've come is heroes might and magic) i don't really know what i like and not.

But off vibes and feelings, its 1 of 3:

plagues or gile and deciet or brute force, no holding back.

If you had none if the games, but somehow the knowledge of their fun factor. What games would you get on steam summer sale?

I am trying to expand my library beyond just what I "play out of habbit".

And as I recently broke my left wrist and got a great gaming pc, I have the time and tools to play anything.

(Anything,)

What are some pc must haves?

What are games that was fun kr worth it in some other way.

That kept you engaged by gameplay or just fun factor of the grind/farm/loop.

Help me make the ultimate switch 2/ps5 gaming list?

Im working on a comprehensive gaming list, to help me branch out and have an amazing experience playing.

(While straving off burnout etc).

If you could pick your fav games from different genres/types.

How would you rate them?

Don't have to list all but some would be helpful.

-----------

Part of list so far:

Phase 1: The High-Momentum Launch

Dave the Diver (Main Game)

Moonlighter (Interlude Game)

Phase 2: The Fast-Paced Action Break

NieR: Automata (Main Game)

Cult of the Lamb (Interlude Game)

Phase 3: The Tactical & Reflex Balance

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (Main Game)

Bayonetta 2 (Interlude Game)

Phase 4: The Gwent-Style Minigame Mountain

Yakuza 0 (Main Game) Death's Door (Interlude Game)

----

Trying not to end up with like 6x hollow knights-types. Or like pokepia AND dbz builder's etc.

Shin Megami Tensei or persona 5 royal.

This might be a dumb question..

I wanna try the Shin Megami Tensei or persona games.

I love jpgs!

Both persona royal 5 and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is on sale.

The combat and art style in persona looks magnificent, but the "day in the life" just isn't for me..

I hate school in all forms and personal dramas and buttering up people/make em like me-rep mini games.

Should I get this despite heavy reliance on fluff stuff like this?

Or

The other game:

, i keep reading its overly hard.. How overly is overly?

Does it get bogged down or is it easy to get and flows once you understand ?

Should I get this if I want combat and stuff instead ?

Is there longevity here? Some dlcs are also on sale!

Are there better games in the franchises?
