What to do with this patch so my parents let me keep it?

Made a patch based on the cover art for Fuck These Fucking Fascists by the Muslims, both of my parents have told me it can be taken in a variety of ways OTHER than a fascist being punched, thus they have told me I have to take this patch off/cover it if I want to wear my vest in public. I don’t want to take it off; I love the band and the album and the message, but how do I make it more clear the meaning? Thanks :)

What do you want to see more of in regards to trans rep?

As a board certified I know what I want to see from enby rep in media (non binary people with defining sex characteristics, non binary people who use pronouns other than they/them, etc) but I’m curious what people under other portions of the trans community want. Talk and rant away lmao.

Feeling of wanting to rip my skin off (TW: Self harm and intrusive thoughts[?])

So it’s literally 1 am rn and should probably not make this post but this is something I’ve been feeling for a while and j have no idea who to talk to without being labeled as a danger to myself so venting on the internet it is!

I’ve wrestled with anxiety, acne, and SH for a good while as a combo of doom and despair, but in the past year or so (maybe more?) whenever I have bad acne flair ups or my skin gets particularly greasy, I get the urge to claw it off. As in peel it off and step out of it. Every time I try to look it up I get diverted to the suicide helpline- but i don’t see it as something intrusive, i see it as something comforting. Something that would fix my problem.

Of course this is totally irrational, but i still find myself clawing at my back and neck, and feeling relief from the constant itching, sweat and oils. Idk, is this a thing? I want to tell my therapist, but I’m worried it’ll a) be brushed off as an intrusive thought or b) make her label me as a danger to myself. Idk I just need some guidance here ig.

Scared of intersections

I haven’t started driving yet, but I was in a car crash at an intersection over spring break and I’ve been wildly shaken up since. Any time I’m in the passenger seat and the car comes to an intersection, I get jumpy, and I’m terrified of a car running a light or stop sign and t-boning the car I’m in. At intersections if a car doesn’t slow down fast enough, or rolls past that white bar (no clue what it’s called), I get panicked, and it’s becoming an issue. Tips?

Steps for feeling safe in cars again?

I was in a car crash over spring break (everyone was fine fortunately, the driver ran a red light and we were t-boned and pushed into another car, I was in the passenger seat). Since then, any time I’m in a car I get overly panicked at intersections. Doesn’t matter how responsible or safe I am, if I see another car I get panicked and jump a little. Ironically I feel more safe on my bike than in the passenger seat lmao. Tips for moving past this? Thanks :)

I’m thinking about going back to a difficult theater company- is it worth it?

So there’s a private company in my town that is known for putting on more professional HS productions than a kid could do at their school (for example this past year they did a pretty much uncut version of Grease, for grades 8-12). Now, I didn’t have great experience— the director was difficult to work with, they hours were long, and there were very few accommodations for the comfort of the actors (he didn’t allow stage kissing, only real kissing, refused to change lines people weren’t comfortable with even though he was completely fine with ADDING dialogue, etc).

Until the show was announced, I was certain I wouldn’t go back. But, they announced they were doing the Prom, a show I love, with a new director. Plus, the previous director (and owner of the company) reached out and told me he’d be willing to accommodate for my schedule if u did the show, which had been a large reason I wasn’t going to do it in the first place. After this, I reached out to a friend of mine who had worked with the new director, and she told me that the new guy was as bad as the old one, and a worse director on top of it.

Issue is, these productions are some of the only times I see some of my closest friends, and I honestly love any opportunity to do a larger scale production. Plus, I would love to be in the Prom and it feels wrong to turn down a spot I’ve been offered. Advice? I’m willing to provide more details if necessary.

Trying to determine whether I can call myself butch

Forgive me if I can't post this here, but it's something I've been thinking about for a while. I'm enby and bi, with a preference for other enbies and women. I often dress very masc, though for special events and the off chance I feel like it, I will wear dresses, skirts, fem makeup, etc. Would it make sense for me to call myself butch? Thanks :)

First time drawing “realism” in a little over a year- how did I do?

My art

Reference photo :)

it’s been a minute so I’m rusty lmao. wanted a “textured“ and brushy vibe, not sure how well I pulled it off. I mostly focused on shady bc that’s where I usually struggle, but any criticism and ideas welcome :)

Getting a piercing for my birthday- what's best?

My mom is letting me get a piercing for my birthday, and I'm doing some research on what piercing to get. I've only ever had my lobes pierced, so cartilage piercings are new territory for me. I'm thinking either a nostril piercing on each side, a helix piercing, or an industrial piercing (I may not have the anatomy for this one though). Any advice on which is best or other piercings I should get instead? Thanks :)
