Stupidest things to say when someone comments on my scars?

I have SH scars. People like to comment on them. My go to currently is to say I got mauled by a bear, but I need something stupider because I’m an asshole and want to remind people to mind their damn business. Ideas?

Edit: holy shit im laughing so hard I'm sobbing these are wonderful

Stupidest/funniest things to say when people comment on scars?

I'm an asshole- thus I want some stupid bullshit to say when people ask about my scars. Currently my go to is bear attack, but I that's not stupid enough. Suggestions? I'm talking like truly ridiculous to use on nosy adults.

The influx of pro weight loss mentality has changed the way I think of myself (for the better)

I'm a teen. Objectively one of the age ranges most susceptible to eating disorders. I'm also fat. And I've felt the shift towards a pro skinny or "thin is in" mentality. I've had some of my skinniest friends call themselves fatasses for drinking a milkshake. I've seen the bombarding of kids talking about their "dream bodies" and weighing themselves and being ashamed of their weight, etc etc.

But yknow what? I've never been happier with being fat. Because in a world that wants me starving and injecting myself with GLP-1s to get myself down to skin and bone, I refuse. I REFUSE to think I am any less worthy for being heavy. I REFUSE to limit what I eat to appeal to a nonexistent force. I REFUSE to let my friends convince me "fat" is a dirty word, and that applying it to myself means I hate my body.

I. WILL. NOT. WASTE. AWAY.

Every day, waking up, looking at myself, and smiling at my stretch marks is rebellion. Weighing myself and not caring when the number on the scale goes up is rebellion. Choosing to eat that damn cookie over feeling healthier is rebellion. Because I'd rather be fat than a walking corpse.

EDIT: I’d like to clarify I don’t think obesity is okay. What I meant is that I refuse to let myself get upset about being on the heavier side when I know I eat healthy and get a good amount of exercise. Diet culture makes people think skinny = healthy, which is what I’m trying to fight by being happy with myself. I am NOT saying you should actively seek out gaining as much weight as possible, sorry if that’s how it came across. The scale comment was a hyper specific one about my relationship with anxiety, whenever I weighed myself and found out I’d gained even a pound, I’d unnecessarily freak out. I was trying to say not caring has made me worry less, which makes me objectively better off.

Really want Tripp pants- but I’ve heard they’ve dropped in quality. Any better alternatives that give the same look?

I’m thinking about the super baggy Darkstreet pants. I’ve heard the brand isn’t great quality anymore- are there other better brands that make similar products? Im mostly thinking about the chains and zipoff feature.

Feels like my binders aren’t working- is this true?

1st image is braless, 2nd is binder immediately after putting on (Spectrum Outfitters, size large), 3rd is binder after around 10mins with readjustments. To me, it doesn’t feel flat, and my mother has commented as such, and that it often looks bulky and draws more attention to my chest. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’ve tried taping, but I’ve found it uncomfortable and unsustainable. Binder in photo is newly washed.

Update thanks yall- glad to gain some more perspective. A lot of the other trans dudes I know have smaller chests, so I was bothered mine didn’t lay like there’s. This was very affirming and I feel very happy to be called a chubby guy :)

Covering scars for stage acting?

I have a not insignificant number of scars on both my upper thighs and forearms. For thighs I often use jazz tights which work like a charm, but I’m struggling to find a solution for my arms. I’ve attempted to use makeup, but it really doesn’t look convincing esp for some of the more raised scars. Advice?

And for the record in case anyone asks- yes, they are SH scars, no, I am not comfortable having them visible on stage.

Relapsed after 8(?) months clean yesterday

Such a stupid reason too. I went to a show my friends were in and after the fact I got so overwhelmed I pretty much broke down in the street- whole time all I could think of was getting home and digging a knife into my thigh. That’s what I did. 5 cuts on one leg, five cuts on the other, and 5 on my left forearm. Just styros fortunately but I feel like I desperately need to go deeper. My hands want to hit bone. I did it again tonight as well. Fuck man, I don’t want to go through this again but I seriously don’t know how to stop. I feel like I reopened a can of worms. I’m in a better place- SO WHY THE FUCK IS IT STILL SO HARD?! Fuck idk why I’m even posting this just need to get thoughts out ig.

The thought of cleaning my room makes me panicked- I don't know why

Will start this by saying I'm a teen- if that changes anyone's perspective. I'm not a particularly clean person, I leave shit all over the place, nothing ever goes where it has to, if it weren't for my nagging (I say this with so much love) parents I don't think I would ever do my laundry. The largest example of this is my room- which I almost always covered in clothes, scraps from art projects, markers, plushies, etc. My mom especially is your standard type A neat-freak, LOVES organizing and is always on my ass about cleaning it (again, I say this with all the love in my heart). But the task has always felt draining and stressful.

Well, last week she had enough and her, my dad, and I all spent an afternoon folding clothes, putting things away, until you could actually see the floor again. A huge part of this process was throwing out anything my parents considered "trash", including anything broken, excess fabric and scraps, and a small glass bottle collection. At the time, I felt numb to it; since the thought of them throwing out those bottles, the broken snow globe that I was gifted when I was younger, hell the fucking fabric makes my chest heavy with- I swear to god- grief. None of that stuff had any function; I doubt I'd tough most of it at all had I saved it, but I'm still upset it's gone.

Since then, my room has fallen into disrepair once again, and once again I'm being told to clean it. But the task feels massive, exhausting, and somewhat terrifying. I cannot do it without them, the idea of starting is awful, but I don't want them too touch a damn thing, which is so silly. Most of the stuff I'm attached to is literal junk I found on the street, but I still love it. I don't want them taking more. When I looked at my clean room for the first time I wanted to scream. It felt too big, it felt soulless. I've shared some of this with my parents, they say the solution is a good organizational system, but I don't want to put things away, and I sure as hell don't want them thrown out. Why is this happening? And what's the best way to articulate it to them?

I think I cracked a kid’s egg at work last week

So I work as a counselor at an art center in a pretty uptight and preppy town; like kids being sent with salad for lunch and “I have to take swimming because I come from a line of swimmers and I have three generations of men with the same name in my family” levels of preppy. Most people have defaulted to “she” for me without asking, and I’ve pretty much gone along with it.

Last Wednesday however, I was taking some of my kids outside for snack time and one kid asked me “are you a boy or a girl?” I told him I was neither, and that I don’t feel like I have to pick. All the children were shook by this revelation.

Another little kid was walking next to me and looked extra surprised, so I asked them “what about you?” And they said “well… I’m a girl but sometimes I don’t feel like one.” And I told them they didn’t have to be a girl if they didn’t want to, and they looked surprised. I then asked if they wanted me to use he or she or something else, and I think they said neither but it was really quiet and kind of drowned out by the other children screaming about a dead chipmunk they found. So yeah. I hope that kid figures it out soon lmao.

Edit: Dude Reddit emailed my friend this post 😭

What to do with this patch so my parents let me keep it?

UPDATE: I wound up taking off the band name and adding "Punch a Nazi" to make the message more clear. Will likely relocate the band name somewhere else on the jacket (maybe across the shoulders? still thinking about it)

Made a patch based on the cover art for Fuck These Fucking Fascists by the Muslims, both of my parents have told me it can be taken in a variety of ways OTHER than a fascist being punched, thus they have told me I have to take this patch off/cover it if I want to wear my vest in public. I don’t want to take it off; I love the band and the album and the message, but how do I make it more clear the meaning? Thanks :)

What do you want to see more of in regards to trans rep?

As a board certified I know what I want to see from enby rep in media (non binary people with defining sex characteristics, non binary people who use pronouns other than they/them, etc) but I’m curious what people under other portions of the trans community want. Talk and rant away lmao.
