What are your favorite restaurants in- Hyannis,Eastham, Chatham,Wellfleet, Sandwich, and Dennis/Yarmouth?

I have been to Cape Cod a handful of times as a kid. And, then pre-covid.

But, I don't remember all the places I liked or if newer places opened up?

What your favorites?

I have been doing alot of research and I feel more places on Cape Cod have lower star reviews than high. Of course some places are better/worse than a review if you go .lol. You never know.

Especially Chatham! I really need suggestions for Chatham.

I like everyone else lol also love a place with a good view and ideally mostly mid-range places, cause I already have a few higher range places on my list.

Which concealer do you prefer for dry under eyes if you are a fan of Tower 28, Natasha Denona, and Hourglass concealers?

I have dry under eyes and have been wanting to try a new concealer.

My favs are Tower 28, Natasha Denona, and Hourglass. I get those to work for me cause I put a tiny amount under each eye and tap it in lightly with my finger( I don't put a huge stripe on). Love those three.

I don't like super sheer coverage even though I dont have super dark under eyes but I like a decent amount of coverage.

For example I wasn't a fan of the coverage of Dior Backstage Concealer, Kulfi concealer or Armani Luminous silk concealer. .... all good for dry under eyes but lacked covered I felt cause they were on the sheer side.

What clean beauty products do you think have lasted you 3+years at least before starting to go bad? Which ones do you feel have gone bad the quickest?

I try not to buy alot of clean beauty products because it takes me forever to use up many types of products- Foundations/tints, blushes, and concealers.

For people that have a clean beauty product which ones have you noticed have been lasting well for at least 3 years.

Most of the clean beauty products I have listed below are almost a year old and still going good. But,sometimes idk if I should focus on using them up 1st for worry of them going bad?

What I have

  • Tower 28 concealer
  • Caliray Corrector
  • Saie Liquid Blush
  • Saie Powder Blush
  • Kosas Powder Blush
  • Summer Friday Skin Tint
  • Ciele Skin Tint
  • Westman Stick Highlighter ( Want to get but curious about longevity of expiring?)

Tarte Macaron blush & glow -duo- Pink Champagne and Birthday Cake

Does anyone have a swatch of both of these side by side sheered out?

I like Pink Champagne but not sure if Birthday Cake would work too or if it is a darker color.

thank you!

Does anyone have good swatched of the reformulated Colourpop stick blushes in Mini me, high demand, and whimsy?

I like all the colors I've seen but haven't seen a good swatch of these 3 shades like in Mini Me, High Demand, and Whimsy.

In Ulta they don't have all the shades of course, and I dont even think they have the newer formulations of it.

I finished all my face moisturizers and milky toners!

I love skincare and makeup. Who doesn't lol

I had a goal the past year to finish all the moisturizers I had( which was a small collection compared to others lol) and my 2 Milky Toners( HaruHaru-my HG and the Byoma one).

I need a good barrier cream while I am on tret, but I told myself to use what I had! lol

I can't recall the last time in my life I was truly out of a facial moisturizer! I even used up my deluxe moisturizer samples too.

Anytime I wanted to buy myself a new milky toner or new moisturizer I thought back at the small amount I spent on the skincare products and how it would just go to waste.

Now lol I can look for both a new milky toner to try and new barrier cream.

I just wish most skincare came in mini/travel sizes and if they do they would be reasonably priced( cause travel sized items are always priced higher than they should be of course)

Anyone in the UK have good swatches of the Revolution Super Dewy Cushion foundation in the fair to light shades?

So in the US sadly Revolution Beauty doesn't have testers in our drugstores!

In the US , Revolution products are sold in stores in Ulta and Target yet those sadly dont do testers like they do in the UK. Last time I was there I had a fun time swatching products I always wanted to since we cant do that in the US for that brand. ( although we do have returns on opened products so thats a plus)

I bought one shade and oh gosh it's such a bad color match( in Fair Neutral Cool). But I really like the foundation!

And, there are no influencers on tik tok that swatches all the shades. Even Revolution doesn't have any good swatch vids for their own product.

So if any has any swatches of the fair and light shades that would be great. :)

Can someone swatch the Fair shades of Revolution Superdewy Cushion Foundation?

So I picked up the shade Fair Neutral Cool but idk about the shade.

Especially if you are in the UK and can swatch it in the stores there.

I wish in Ulta they have testers for Revolution makeup! But, sadly they don't.

**** Also, I have dry skin from tret and mind you it's only the first day but I love it! Also got YSL cushion around the same time and I'm not a fan cause that one isn't glowy on me compared to the Revolution one!

I'm already looking at getting him a good pair of Hoka Bondi 9's his podiatrist recommend and a pair of bombas socks too.

But, for when he wears a suite or goes to any event he can't wear sneakers is there a good brand of shoes to wear?

Is Nordstrom suppose to be good at giving you samples/deluxe samples when you buy something in store?

So I most often buy beauty from Nordstrom online rather than going in.

But, I always heard that Nordstrom has great samples so I figured to go in. I thought the sales associate might throw in some deluxe size samples.

And, after spending not that much but just $120 in beauty all I got was 2 sample packets of something.

I saw one girl on tik tok showing how the sales person showered her with samples for buying one thing. I love samples cause it will avoid me returning something if I hate the sample but not every product of course has a sample made by the brand. Like I went to the Chanel counter and for 2 of the foundations I wanted to try had no brand sample pouch! Which I find surprising( cause usually brands have samples of foundations in packets), and I won't get a sample using a store tester cause those are filled with germs. The Nordstroms around me are hit or miss in the beauty section associates. Cause some of them they look annoyed if you ask for a brand sample or act like they are giving you gold. But, then if you return a product they made commission for then they look annoyed too!

Are the beauty counters not giving good deluxe samples anymore to give out to customers when buying things. ( I know online for some brands they might have spend a certain amount and get whatever gift with purchase. But, I'm talking about just like one deluxe sample)

In the past I remember a very nice Dior associate gave me 2 mini tubes of Dior Skin Glow foundation to try and those I took on a trip with me and loved them! She was so sweet and I didnt even buy anything. Another time a Mac associated didnt find a sample packet of the skin canvas balm and she gave me a mini pot of it they probably give as a deluxe sample. Both these times I bought nothing.

If you have super dry skin what do you all think of these Chanel foundations especially if you like a glowy/luminous/dewy finish?

  1. Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint

  2. Chanel N 1  DE CHANEL REVITALIZING FOUNDATION

  3. Chanel Healthy Glow Foundation

So I have dry skin from tret. And, I pretty much love a glowy/luminous/dewy look. I don't want a subtle glow cause I already have alot of those.

I know everyone loves the water fresh tint. A while ago I tried a sample of it( I usually never get ready made samples cause I'm a germaphobe about store testers!) Anyhow but I didnt find it that glowy or special. But, then again it was just a small sample.

I watched some reviews on them and people have said the N'1 and Healthy glow look similar?

Thoughts?

If you have cool tone skin do you all feel that Sprinkle leans orange/coral?

I have light I think cool toned skin and tried on Sprinkle today and Piggy.

I'm so bad at judging blush color.

But, did anyone else feel that Sprinkle leans coral? It is described as a warm tone pink but when sheered it looks orange/coral on me. I dont get it.

Piggy oddly enough I think looked better and more pinky on my skin.

What acne treatments from Asian Beauty shrinks your regular blemishes in a few days and cystic blemishes?

Is there such a thing? I've tried everything popular brands primarily from the US.

But, I feel like Asian beauty most often is more advanced so wondering what you tried that you were blown away from! Especially for those annoying cystic blemishes.

Is Patrick Ta Blush Duo shade "Out of Office" matte or similar finish as the "satin " finish.?

On Patrick's Ta's website they list shades that are Matte and Satin Finish.

On Sephora's website it lists all the shades under natural finish? In stores they I think still list matte shades vs satin shades? So I'm confused

I really like the shades of Out of Office and She's that Girl.

Out of Office on his website is labeled as Matte, and She's that girl labeled as Satin?

I swatched them both in store but didnt see a difference in looking matte/satin?

I have dry skin and for me I want to do the powder first and then cream blush method to hopefully have a luminous glow. But, if Out of Office is truly matte once it sets then maybe not for me? ( although its a better color for me)

** Also are they actually glowy/dewy/luminous when you put the powder first and then the cream?

Does anyone felt their skin wasn't as great on Altreno as it was on Retin-A Cream?

So for like 5 years I would use Retin-A .025%.

I never had heavy acne per se but the occasional pimple on my cheeks and then the hormonal cysts on my chin occasionally during that time of the month. I used tret for anti-aging primarily. And, felt my BHA serum did more to prevent blackhead and blemishes.

Now, my issue at first with Retin-A was that I never could use it more than 3x a week. I did everything your suppose to with the sandwich method and such. And, then other nights I used other actives.( like my go-to fav Retinal 2x a week I added in after a long time of trying tret for multiple nights in a row and a BHA 1x a week)

Then in January of this year my doctor thought I should try Altreno! I did that, and did it every 3 days and my face was still super dry. A smart person on reddit alerted me that maybe I should try every other night so my face gets properly retinized!( perhaps that is my mistake I did with Retin-A! I never thought of this) Anyhow my face using Altretno every other day is less dry than when I was on Retin-A so thats great.

Although, it's been 7 months and I have had more issues on my face than I have before( not multiple blemishes at once but one at a time that are a pain). I mean I had a cystic blemish on my cheek I never had before and it took 2 weeks to properly heel and not almost a month later the mark is still a little red and healing... slowly.

Just wondering if anyone was on altreno and then decided to go back to Retin-A?

I don't know if its all in my head that my skin was better on the routine I had on Retin-A or my face doesn't love Altreno.

If you have dry under eyes what is your favorite concealer brush?

So, my go to way to put on concealer that looks flawless is putting concealer a tad on the back of my hand and then patting it under each eye lightly with just my ring finger. I also spray a light spray under my eyes beforehand( like Peach and Lily glass skin veil- doesn't make my skin glowy but oddly enough is good before concealer. Eye cream before concealer just makes concealer look worse for me, even the lightest eye cream!)

Anyhow...... years ago I bought a Real Technique concealer brush that never worked.

Recently, I picked up 2 concealer brushes by Morphe 132- really nice angled brush but still creates streaks a bit but feels soft. And, Morphe 133- feels to rough under the eyes. I also tried the technique with both of them where you put concealer on the back of your hands and load of the concealer brush and then tap under your eye with the brush. Still not perfect as with fingers.

Is there a brush that is super super soft and actually mimicks the look of doing it with your fingers?

I'm trying to be more of a brush girl, cause I use my fingers or beauty sponge most of the time! But, I really like the idea of using brushes lol. But, idk if I am meant for the brush life.

Could Tasacak Bu Deniz actually change TV stations?

So I have no idea if it is true or not but on tik tok saw some comments saying TBD could change to another channel.

Now, I would love it! I mean who wouldn't love to see Iso and Fadime kiss finally!

What I don't get is TBD is called a "family" show. It still covered heavy topics. I mean most Turkish shows are PG compared to US/British shows. So, I dont think most people in Turkey would give up on the show cause it switched channels.

I have been watching Turkish shows for almost 8 years now and never had a show I knew of that changed tv stations so idk if its a big deal or not.

If your a light/fair olive skin tone did you find Rhode Blush in Teacup to be on the red side?

I went into Sephora and they had a brand new sample of the blush in Teacup. I never ever ever put testers on my face cause of germs but since it was a brand new tester I took the risk and twisted it up and swatched it from the side to be extra careful.

Now, idk if I am not seeing it right but on my face the color Teacup runs on the red side in pictures I took to see how it appears. Swatched it looks super similar to Dior's stick blush in Rosewood!( But, Rosewood wasn't as red on me)

Thoughts? Anyone else feel this was about the color Teacup?

The other color I am considering is Sprinkle but I worry it might look coral. Then, Piggy which might be okay too.
