Hey everyone me again! I did the LCC post the other day that lots of people commented incredibly helpful and insightful feedback on!

After giving it a go I realised that I was kinda over complicating the design and that it all worked as it was, so I decided to try a different and fictional design to work on my design skills instead. So I made up the Wainfleet Heritage Foundation (another town in Lincolnshire some of my friends used to live in). I based the design on the heraldry of William Of Waynefleet but simplified it down so it would shrink down and still be recognisable.

Anyway, thoughts and feedback would be helpful! Thank you again everyone for the help before, it was really needed I think and I feel I really learnt a lesson about keeping in mind the context in which I’m designing and being mindful of fitting that context effectively.

I was raised in Lincolnshire by my parents and the importance of going away to train and then bringing my skillset back to Lincolnshire and my local community was emphasised to me. I’ve been working as a professional concept artist and graphic designer from Lincolnshire for the last 6 years but the work is beginning to dry up due to a multitude of reasons (global economy, the prevalence of AI generated content, the cost of living). I believe it is more important than ever to showcase and emphasise the importance of community and togetherness, including the boycotting of AI generated content where there are plenty of artists and designers in Lincolnshire who want and deserve to work and use their skillset in their local community.

With this in mind I believe that Lincolnshire could be a beacon of human-made design, championing local talent and showcasing that we are a tight knit community who support each other. I see Lincolnshire as a beacon of the arts, with every town and city having a distinct visual identity weaved into the fabric of the local communities supported by a vibrant mixture of the emerging youth of the area and the existing community members who already work hard, pushing the best Lincolnshire has to offer via social media, exhibitions, public events, and local celebrations.

Find above the project I’ve been working on, showcasing the proposed design I’ve got for Lincolnshire county council, and the beginning in a series of design identity rebrands that I want to produce for local areas that would revitalise the community and celebrate local Lincolnshire life.

I’ve been working as a book cover artist and designer doing work that isn’t really like this but wanting to show off some of the work I can do!

I hope it’s okay to post this here and I will delete it if it’s not of course! I’m an illustrator and graphic designer and after posting some of my work on the MTG subreddit someone said my work reminded them of the style of Sorcery so I’d love to get everyone’s opinion! After having a look the game looks really interesting and I’m actually going to a LGS later so I’m going to ask if they can get some in for me to have a play with!

As a surprise to my friend a bunch of us chipped in and bought him the bones of an eldrazi deck and then I designed these special versions of the cards for him!

In the past I’ve gotten a lot of comments likening what I do to AI so a few months ago I started recording my process and posting that instead of the work as proof that it is made by a person

I’ve recently been trying out some new brushes and techniques after feeling like my art might have been getting a little bit stale, would love to know what you all think!

I’ve added a few examples of work I’ve done, I know it’s maybe not the most graphic and a little more painterly, but I’m struggling to even get emails back from agents about my work and I’m wondering if maybe my work needs to change a bit for table top games?

Any advice would be very appreciated!
