Returning to different LA area airport?

I rented from Burbank, booked to return it to Ontario.

Now I want to return back to Burbank so I can take another flight.

Does National care? I tried to call but their call center is closed.

How much time do I need at Bremen Airport?

I have a flight boarding at 8:40am tomorrow flying to Munich.

I will need to return a rental car and check bags.

I have Lufthansa fastlane access, if it matters.

Any advice on what time I should arrive at the airport?

EES while connecting at Munich

I’m scheduled to arrive at MUC at 10:30 from a flight from within Germany. Then, I have a flight outside of Schengen at 15:30. I would like to have lunch at AirBraü.

Five hours (if everything is on time) sounds like it should be plenty of time to do that, but I have heard the EES exit is taking a very long time, and I believe AirBraü is outside of security.

Does anyone know how long I should plan to get to my plane?

Prettiest way to go and play, Kastrup -> North Zealand

Driving from Kastrup to North Zealand today.

Looking for recommendations for roads to take that are more interesting/beautiful than the big motorway, plus good places to explore or play... parks, beaches, lunch, giants, etc.

Just hoping to turn a 60 minute drive into an enjoyable afternoon.

CPH Passport Control: which line for mixed EU/non-Eu family traveling together?

My family and I are flying into CPH soon. We are three EU citizens and one non-eu citizen. I have read we are legally able to go through the EU-only passport control line, but also that that rule is applied inconsistently in different airports in the Schengen area.

Additionally the kids are too young to use the automated kiosks. Unsure if CPH is using them.

Does anyone know how this is done at CPH? I will ask, if someone is managing the line, but curious if anyone has experience?

Or any other advice on making passport control as easy as possible?

eReader + subscription options for kids?

Taking my kids on vacation for three weeks and want to get them ereaders since we won't be going to the library four times a week and I'd rather not carry a suitcase full of books.

I'm looking for hardware ereader + subscription of some sort to augment our libraries eBook options.

Kindle Colorsoft seems like my top pick right now as I think they'd enjoy some semblance of color, but it's unclear to me how big/good the Amazon Kids+ library is.

Epic only seems to work on tablets, which I'm trying to avoid.

Any other options I'm missing?

Is there place to see the Blue Angels that isn't a giant zoo/time investment?

I'm hoping for a better Blue Angels viewing experience than "I spotted one from North Seattle" but don't want to spend all day dealing with traffic/crowds/hassle of Seafair either

Is there a "just right" spot that would allow me decent viewing without a big hassle?

Nukatap Flow Control vs CM Becker Flow control faucets

I'm building a kegerator seltzer system with a Mccann Carbonator.

Given the high pressure the system works at I'm looking at a flow control faucet to limit foaming.

A lot of the material I'm looking at about systems like this is older, and tends to suggest flow control taps like the CM Becker, but I see nukatap has a newer option that has a different shape (different patent solutions for the same problem)

Curious if anyone has tried both of these (especially in a high pressure seltzer system) and can comment on how they might perform?

How much do you value the Global 100K Companion Award?

I wasn't planning on earning the 100K award but it looks like I could put a bit more spending towards this card to make it there.

On one hand 100K miles is great. On the other, a year expiration and being forced to use them on a single ticket is not so great.

Long haul Child meal in Business

Taking my kid in biz class and I see Child meal is an option. Anyone know what kinds of things are usually served? My kid eats everything but imagine simple foods in a kids meal might be preferred to more fancy dishes in biz class?

Which tap tower to buy? New vs Used?

I'm looking to assemble a seltzer + nitro cold brew kegerator. I found a nearly free kegerator that can hold three cornys, so I'd like to get a triple tap tower to put on top.

Currently has a single tap tower with no tap: https://imgur.com/4Pmht02

Advice on how to buy tap towers or what I should look for? Ideally I'll have a tap for seltzer, a nitro tap for cold brew, and a spare tap for occasionally either beer or cocktail.

When I look at used equipments, some of the taps have this hardware on the end, what's it for? https://imgur.com/9trNuc6

Is there a reason I shouldn't be looking at used equipment? Or stuff to look out for if I do?

Cotton Bureau alternatives?

For years I bought a ton of shirts at Cotton Bureau. Loved the art, the quality, and the selection.

Recently got a couple more and quality is gone. Firstly the designs were printed crooked. They were quick to offer to send replacements but whatever process they are using now (DTF?) looked plasticy and low quality. They were kind enough to refund my order.

Anyway, where can I get screened shirts with fun graphics that will make me look like a cool dad?

Dewalt pancake compressor drain plug broke out. Safe to fix? Or just trash?

I have 6 gallon compressor. It was leaking air from the drain plug so I attempted to take it out. After an 8th of a turn it broke right off.

I could attempt to unscrew what's left of the fitting from the tank and replace the fitting? Or it the fact that this failed just evidence that the tank is compromised?

Multiple cards auto payments canceled

I have two BoA credit cards, both have been set up autopay for years.

I got a text that my account was past due.

I called and they had no idea how the autopays got canceled. They could see the auto payment was canceled but had no added information about how/why.

I have gotten emails about needing to re-set up my auto pays, but they all clearly say I need to take action by Aug 1, so that’s shouldn’t be relevant yet.

They credited the late fees and interest back to me, so that’s all good.

Any idea why this might have happened?

Questions about Legoland Billund?

We're going to be in billund for two days in August, Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd with my spouse and kids 10&7 years old. Given my kids I think we will be excited about legoland but actually a bit more into lego house.

Idea is to do Legoland one day and Lego house the other, and have a few questions about how to best do it.

  1. I presume this is high season, but Denmark schools should be back in session by then. Can someone tell me what I should expect for crowds?
  2. Should we aim to do legoland on Friday and Lego House Saturday or vice versa? Is there any ticket system that would allow us to be flexible about going to Legoland on the day with better weather?
  3. What should we do about fast track? We are coming from far away and are happy to spend some to maximize the experience, but also don't want/need to pay extra if it's not needed.
  4. What extra tickets/event at Lego House are worth while? Masters Academy? Something else?
  5. Any other tips to make this a great trip?

What crossstreet on Wallingford Ave is the furthest north where you can see the fireworks?

My kids go to bed early and have never seen fireworks.

Wondering if I can make it happen for them tonight but plotting how far we’d walk from Phinney to make them visible.
