Why am I moving too slow? (quickie world level2)

I have no idea why I’m moving slow and losing my momentum hard, I press the jump button and keep pushing the speed button all the time but it doesn’t seem to work .. I’m always too slow

Is OT-0 too easy as some people say?

I love challenging and engaging gameplay without needing to put self restricting rules, I played OT2 and found it fun gameplay wise but I abused few OP abilities that made the game a bit too easy..anyway I’m not looking for frustrating game I just don’t want to be bored.
