I feel like this robot has been amazing there are things I’ve vocalized on this sub that I think would make this vac better all within the means and confines of the currently technology.

- I’ve said this many times but the way Matic handles messes is archaic. It is unable to recognize the degree in which it should vacuum or mop; again some stains and things take longer than others which I totally get but why is it being treated as the same.

- the mopping pressure and consistency. I’ve been told on this app that if I want something cleaner to just have it do the same spot over and over again which I find silly.

- the intervals of the Matic get dirty and sticky. A self washing dock that can clean the internals as well as dry this would solve this problem.

Any recommendations?

Major phobia of dentists but noticing too much tar build up despite brushing and flossing regularly. My orthodontist mentioned that it’s because I drink black coffee with Invisalign which makes them stain significantly easier.

However long story short I’m at the point in my life where even hearing my teeth being scraped is going to make me have a panic attack. I’ve tried headphones I’ve tried closing my eyes I just can’t do it.

Is there a dentist that will put me out or drug me up enough to the point where I don’t notice or feel anything? I’m located in bayside.

I’m grateful to have found this sub. 29 year old healthy male, located in NY and out of nowhere in May I suddenly feel like I’m going to choke on whatever I’m eating to the point where I’m spitting some food out, or chewing it to an absolute paste for it to go down. I have an endoscopy on Monday & I’ve completely wrung my brain dry of potential causes.

My hunch based on research is that this is GERD however no matter how much I speculate this feels like I’m in a living hell.

I know that a lot of the discourse on this sub are things being mental health related and I am aware that there is some mental health attributed to this but I am fearful for my life.

I’m diagnosed with OCD, and panic disorder but since this has all started it’s gotten exponentially worse.

Prior to dysphagia I was on setraline and Wellbutrin that I’ve since stopped due to my pcp telling me they could be related.

My fears: cancer, never being able to swallow again, or never finding a solution to this.

I feel like I’m at wits end here. I genuinely don’t want to die and I feel like this is going to kill me.

I have noticed my burps are rancid and my stomach?? Will make noises similar to a lava lamp after eating sometimes that’s what makes me think it’s gerd and maybe that acid is swelling my esophagus or something? I genuinely don’t know.

I’ve never had anxiety somatic like this. Even sitting in a chair thinking about my throat makes me feel like it’s getting inflamed. I’ve noticed advil can help temporarily but I was just eating a brownie and had to stop half way because I felt like I couldn’t put it down. I don’t know where the hell this is coming from or what’s causing it I’m seeing people on here go to SLPs and neurologists and I’m practically slipping on my own shit just thinking about it.

I know din tai fung has chocolate filled dumplings in the city is there any in flushing?

Side note what’s the best sit down dumpling place in flushing that isn’t nang xiao long bao

Anthony bourdain would be a fantastic voice for this app. I tried creating the voice within the app but it doesn’t sound anything like him.

I thought Tony was really good. It knew exactly what story it wanted to tell: that one summer when his life started taking shape. It captured the time without overdoing it, and by the end I wanted more. I’d love to see other chapters of his life explored the same way, if his family is ever open to it. My only real complaint: I wanted to hear Tony’s actual voice over the credits. Even just a few seconds. They did show that great photo of him after the CIA long hair, holding his knives, looking like some kitchen pirate. Perfect image to end on. His voice would’ve made it even better.

Intended usage
The main game I want to play is Gears of War: E-Day. I would like to play at 1080p with medium-to-high settings at approximately 60 FPS. I may also play games such as R.E.P.O. and other newer AAA games.
I understand that I may need to use DLSS or lower some settings because of my budget. I do not need maximum or ultra settings, but I want smooth and stable performance.
Desired battery life
Around 4–6 hours during normal web browsing or video use would be nice. I expect to keep it plugged in while gaming.

I would strongly prefer:

• A simple black, gray, dark blue, or silver exterior
• At least 16 GB of RAM
• At least a 512 GB SSD
• A dedicated NVIDIA GPU capable of running Gears of War: E-Day smoothly
• Good cooling and reasonable fan noise
• A 1080p or better display with at least a 120 Hz refresh rate
• Upgradeable RAM or storage would be helpful
• A built-in webcam and microphone
A white keyboard backlight or single-color backlight is fine. I mainly want to avoid a laptop that looks like an RGB spaceship.
