What I have to offer: I’ll be 18 soon, and graduated from high school in December. I’m from Texas out of the USA, and have a deep history with working in beekeeping.

My whole life, I’ve been the ‘smart’ one of my siblings, or the most academically inclined. This lead to my parents deciding university is the best possible path for what I want in my future (which is eventually to homestead and work remote as a housewife, idk. I’d like to travel too, but that’s harder.)
However, with my entire soul, I hate academics. I’ve always excelled in grammar, English, literature, and I adore biology and anatomy, but I’m terrible at everything having to do with math. The only career that I would entertain college for would be neurology, because the brain fascinates me. But 4+ years of school, all of which I despise? Not to mention the debt and the fact I don’t even want a heavy job long term?

I’ve considered military, but I’d want a bachelors degree to go in as an officer, and that ruins the convenience. I’ve heard government jobs don’t always need degrees, but I have zero clue as to how I’d even segue into that area. I’d love to be a flight attendant because it’s travel + decent money, but I’m not sure the prerequisites quite yet.

I just feel like the world is closing in right now. I have so many appealing options (travel, remote work, forcing a degree because it betters my odds) but the people around me make it feel like my only option is college. I’m just looking for advice.

Only just starting out as a honey-based rum and moonshine-ish distiller, how do yall sell your product?

Steps leading up to question:
I did several things differently in this recipe. I used pecans instead of walnuts (not a big deal, obviously), added cinnamon and nutmeg, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, used a regular banana instead of an overly ripe one, and I browned the butter.

I browned the butter over the stove top, and when I added it, it was still bubbling and made my wet ingredients fizz up. I added the dry immediately after to level the temp a little bit, and had little trouble otherwise. Pancakes fluffed up when cooking, and other than being a little heavy, they came out fine. The batter was quite thick, but I might fry the bananas next time to extract some of the moisture.

Question:
**If I pour the piping hot butter over the wet ingredients, is it going to change the texture or outcome of the pancake?**

On another note, these were the best pancakes I’ve ever made. My adjustments took them to another level, but I’d like to know if I could do anything to improve, or leave anything out lest it be detrimental.

We only get Chaos and Baicang and NEITHER are incredible on field, but most of the ladies have gorgeous, detailed designs and great kits.
