Help!
Brother brought home this baby rabbit, it can’t be more than four days old.
I am well aware that mothers often leave their nest, but he seemed convinced that it was abandoned because it was supposedly nowhere near one. Regardless, I now have a baby rabbit in my care and little clue as how to take care of it.
I have KMR, heavy whipping cream (Google said to add it to KMR for fat content?), a warm and dark covered box, and a heat lamp that is spaced pretty far from it so she doesn’t overheat.
How do I feed her?? I have a small bottle (the kind for kittens) and no syringes, but she won’t take to the teat of it.
She passed a greenish pee yesterday, but she didnt pass any last night. I’m trying to feed and stimulate her now, but I’m very worried I’m doing something wrong.
She is spry and moving around, crawling about or getting under the blanket, but she also does these weird twitch/jump things sometimes when I hold her. My hands weren’t cold, and she’s uninjured, so I’m worried about that.
